Excellent place to create memories, reunite with family and friends.
Great large 2 story home with plenty of room to sleep 12 people comfortably. Additional guest can be accommodated with floor space and couches.
4 Bedrooms on the main floor, with an upstairs large bedroom with 2 queen beds, and large sitting area. Located in a nice quiet cove with plenty of room for swimming off the dock.

Great place to spend quality time with your family. The swimming area was perfect for little ones and older ones. The house was comfortable and accommodated our big family. Tim was a great communicator!

Family Christmas

The house is spacious and exactly what we needed for our gathering. We had a few hiccups at the beginning of our stay, but Tim quickly resolved the issues and more than compensated for them. I will be rebooking and highly recommend this property!

Graduation

Great space for family/friends to gather for our daughters graduation. She had several ceremonies on different days - this allowed us to gather in one place attend her events and spend time with family/friends. Host was very responsive and helpful.

A beautiful home on the lake with plenty of room for all.

We had a lovely stay at Tim's place on the lake! The home is quite large and spacious, more than the photos give credit. We had 3 families with a total of 7 kids and the space was perfect for our reunion. Kayaking, playing on the zip line, relaxing near the lake, cooking in the large kitchen together, and lounging in the large den were favorite memories made possible by this home. Tim the owner was very responsive to any small issues that came up, and resolved them promptly. We loved our stay and would be back in a heartbeat!

Family Vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. Our host was excellent with communication. The property was very spacious. Our Grandma enjoyed back porch sitting watching her grandkids and great-grandkids swim, fish, play on the swingset, and jump on the trampoline. The lake was nice. The house was cozy. The neighborhood was quiet. The host was great. Will likely stay here again next summer.

Greenwood lake house

Overall it was a very nice house, very clean, very neat and tidy. Only issue was there wasn't the amount of beds stated on the site. Only had enough beds and couches to sleep 14 to 16. Not the 20 posted.

Wonderful host

Tim was a great host and very responsive to messages and questions, however, there are several issues with the property itself. First, there are dogs VERY close to the property that bark constantly. My in-laws stayed in the front bedroom and hardly got any sleep due to incessant barking, and I could hear them in the back bedroom. Obviously Tim has no control over this as they seem to belong to the neighbor, but it was definitely not an enjoyable experience. Second, the playground is completely unstable and almost fell onto my 4-year-old nephew as soon as he sat down on one of the swings. Third, the shared bathroom shower was clogged up and drained very slowly, the mat inside the shower was moldy, and there was a loofa left in the shower from a previous stay. Fourth, the air conditioning is not powerful enough to cool the entire house. We booked this house solely based on the fact that it had enough beds for our party of 11, but the entire upstairs was too hot to sleep in and we had kids sleeping on hardwood floors downstairs for the duration of the stay, which was not ideal. We did have an issue with there only being 2 towels when we checked in, but Tim had the cleaning crew bring more the next day. I did make Tim aware of the issue with the playground and shower, so hopefully those are addressed.

There were a huge amount of ants in gueen bed bathroom.we had 8 people staying, there were only 4 face cloths out, one had 2 holes in it, looked like a rag..Night was chilly, needed a blanket, none available.Red wing chairs needed seat stuffing, one had a tear in upholstry arm.Two metal rockers on porch had missing center ribbing, big holes both chairs, unuseable. Good experience with some disappointments

The house sleeps quite a few very comfortably. Tim was very responsive and answered questions quickly. The little cove and dock make for great swimming with little kids. Nice things to do in the house, too. There were two kayaks but we were disappointed that one was missing a seat and the paddle was broken. We also worried a bit about the ladder on the dock which was partially detached. It would have been nice to have known that there was no bath soap provided. Perhaps we missed that information. We also had trouble getting dishes dry with no drainer and no dish towels. Be sure to bring some extra bath and swimming towels because one towel is provided for each person. We were also short on hand towels and wash cloths. There were tons of life jackets and chairs which was nice.

Nice place

This beautiful home is a nice quiet place for getaway with family and friends. Great fishing and lakefront view. Will definitely be back. Suggestions-Windows need screens from bugs

Perfect weekend reunion

We are old team mates from an athletic team who were coming together for a reunion and to remember one of our team mates who sadly passed away last year. We used to go to the lake 20 yrs ago when we were all first together so we felt it was the right place to unite. The house was wonderful and the lake was magical. Honestly the perfect place in every way for our reunion which we will never forget. Thank you

Large House on Lake with Dock

Large house (5bd / 2 1/2ba) on the lake that has plenty of space for 12 people. Positives: Location, # of bedrooms, pool table, ping pong table, 2 kayaks, fire pit. We had a great time at the house and on the lake by renting a pontoon boat at Skippers which we were able to tie up at the house's dock for lunch. The reason for the 4 star review was that the dishes and pans were not well cleaned by the previous guest so we had to run everything thing through the dishwasher. If you do stay here bring your own beach towels for the lake and kitchen supplies. There was no foil, plastic wrap, spices, extra garbage can liners, etc in the cupboards. I recommend this house for large groups our kids loved the place.

Off-roading vacation

We were very happy with the property. We went off-roading at the local gulches OHV park and this was the perfect location. Plenty of room in the driveway for us to park 3 trucks and car trailers as well as 5 jeeps. The garage was a great place to work on stuff after the trails as it got colder. My only complaint is the listing originally said there was one more bedroom than there actually was. There are 3 rooms with 1 larger bed in them, 1 room with 2 twin beds and 1 room upstairs with 3 beds in it. This still worked out for our group although we may have split the costs differently had we known the layout better ahead of time. The owner was super responsive and allowed us to stay a few extra hours for getting packed up the next morning. I recommend it 100% and look forward to staying during our next visit.

Great getaway with a view

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The view of the cove was good and we even saw quite a few boats out there zooming around. Communication with the host was excellent. I had a few questions and he was always quick to respond. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

The Escape provides an excellent place to create memories, reunite with family and friends, or enjoy a time to "Escape" the hustle and bustle of daily life by providing all the amenities of home and more. We are located in a quiet cove, yet right on the big water providing an excellent swimming area for small children and adults, as well as the ability to fish from the shoreline, or dock. Bring your boat, jet ski, paddle board or kayak as the location is great for all!
