Palapa Rafael is a truly unique and stylish 2 story 3 bedroom, 2 bath home. Located on the main street in the delightful village of San Pancho, 2.5 blocks from the beach. This home has a spacious, open upstairs main floor with soaring palapa roof and a large comfortable palm shaded patio fronting the street that you will have trouble leaving. It is well furnished with local art and comfortable furniture and many spaces to relax. Full of light and great air flow with a wide open design. There is a heated pool in the back garden area, with an outdoor kitchen and BBQ grill. You cannot be more centrally and conveniently located in San Pancho.

Great Property in the heart of San Pancho

We had a great stay in San Pancho! The house was perfect! It was fun to be right on the main strip next to all the great restaurants and shops and feel like we were part of everything happening in town. We can't wait to come back!

LOVED this place

Casa Rafael is clean, we felt safe, it is conveniently located, and amazing. I would love to stay here again. We rented the entire unit (both upstairs and downstairs). The a/c was very nice. We stayed in July when it was quite hot. I love how close everything is. If you need them, there are ear plugs and sound machines in every room (it is downtown), but I LOVED being in the middle of San Pancho life. There is not really any parking so hire a driver or taxi. The upstairs is an open palapa which is amazing, and there is a resident squirrel who is friendly. Our host provided a playpen for the baby in our group. Downstairs is a completely enclosed studio-like area. Pool was clean. I can't say enough good things. And we saw a turtle (tortuga) release! You won't regret this stay. Casa Rafael is AMAZING.

Loved this special home

We loved staying at Andrew’s home. It was absolutely perfect for my family - the vibe, decor, location…just amazing! There were a few essential things missing, like big knives ;they only had a small paring knife) and ice trays to make ice (we had to buy ice twice in 1 week because it is so hot there) but the manager, Laura, was very accommodating and said that they would gladly stock these things for the future. The house provided drinking water, which made the whole stay so much better because we didn’t have to purchase gallons of water and lug them back to the house! Can’t wait to come back to San Pancho and stay here again!

Amazing location and great balcony to hang out

We were 2 families staying in the upstairs and downstairs units. Amazing location, few blocks from the beach and overlooking good restaurants and taquerias. The pool is very small but actually wound up being good for our small children. The palapa roof is cool, makes you feel like you're on vacay. Be sure to put food away since kitchen area is not blocked from the outside. Things that I wish I knew before arrival: 1. There is filtered water on the property, so no need to get any if you do grocery shopping before arrival. 2. the house has a few beach chairs and umbrellas that guests have left for each other, so no need to buy or bring your own. Very Convenient. 3. There is no microwave. not really important unless you have small kids (warming up milk etc). 4. They put little white noise machines in most rooms, which is convenient. 5. The only real annoyance was that the electrical plug for the modem / router was faulty so the wifi throughout the house can go out time to time. The wireless router does not have great range, e.g. no wifi was reachable in the pool area if you want to stream music. 6. There is a key that you can hang around your neck so that you don't get locked out of the house while hanging out on the balcony. I didn't realize this until the last day while packing up. There's no sign or anything.

Realmente gozamos la estancia en San Pancho en este lugar tan bien ubicado, limpo, cómodo y acogedor. El servicio de limpieza excelente. Mis nietos gozaron la piscina y los espacios. Tuvimos un percance, mi hijo olvidó sus tarjetas de crédito, se dio cuenta 2 días después de que dejamos San Pancho. Me comuniqué con Laura e inmediatamente me envió la foto de que ahí estaban y me hizo favor de entregarlas a mi otro hijo que vive ahí.Felicito a todos por su honestidad y eficiencia. Gracias. Esperamos regresar

Amazing home!

Beautiful home and great location! Walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. The space was comfortable and clean. The deck was great for hanging out and eating meals. Our 2 year old swam in the heated pool every day! Would 100% stay there again!
