Relax at this classic beach cottage.

Perfect beach retreat for making memories at Emerald Isle! This classic beach cottage is located on a quiet street in the heart of Emerald Isle. Short walk or bike ride to restaurants, grocery stores, mini golf. Two beach access areas, one is a 2-3 minute walk the other is a 5 minute walk ( see photos ). Beach wagon provided for transporting all your beach essentials. Spacious, shaded back yard with a built in fire pit is perfect for relaxing after a day of fun in the sun. Also a great place to grill up your favorite catch of the day and dine under the stars. Well equipped kitchen open to the living room and dining area. Take an afternoon siesta or enjoy drinks before dinner on the screened porch, accessed through the master bedroom or from the patio. You will love the spacious master bedroom complete with a king sized bed. There are two additional bedrooms, one with a queen size bed the other with full size bunk beds. Two additional twin beds are in a room that serves as a walkthrough to the master bedroom addition. Two updated baths complete this island cottage. Your health and safety are a priority to us. Our home is cleaned with Microban, Clorox, and Lysol products.

This house was so cute. Great proximity to the beach, located in a cute neighborhood, and best of all--not 1 million steps to climb! My aging mother who isn't great with steps appreciated having everything on one level. It was also great as someone with little ones as I didn't have to carry them up the steps after hauling everything back from the beach AND didn't have to worry about my newly walking toddler falling down stairs constantly. It had everything we needed and had great charm. Thanks for having us!

Perfect Beach Cottage

Easy check-in. The owner and property manager were very helpful. Great location: A short walk to the beach, and lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Cozy cottage. 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a big living room, kitchen, deck, outdoor shower, and even a fire pit!

This was our second stay at this property. It fits us to a T. Contact with the host and property manager was quick and friendly. The house is comfortable and clean. Location on the island is great for us, we come right off the bridge and turn into the neighborhood. Neighborhood is nice and quiet! Quick access to beach. I love this house. The screen porch is off the main bedroom, but it was fine for us. Bedding is comfortable. Living area is cheerful and comfortable. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be to gate the deck steps so the dog could enjoy some unleashed sunshine, and switch out lightbulbs in the main bathroom above the sink. But wow….. that’s getting nitpicky to find anything I would do differently here! The fact that I stayed here twice is telling….. it’s a great place. But, please don’t take the week I get! lol!

Great Spot Close to the Beach

We had a really nice stay at this house. It was just a few minute walk to the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth throughout the day. The neighborhood was very quiet. The house had everything we needed and was comfortable for our stay. Would definitely consider staying here again.

We selected this property for its location, floorplan, and bungalow beach vibe. As soon as we opened the door, we knew we were home. The experience exceeded our expectations!Our group consisted of four sisters, here to attend the graduation of our grandson (great nephew). The layout allowed each of us to have our own room. Our queen for the weekend (the grandma) was given the master suite. It was huge, with a couch at the end of the bed, and is zoned with its own thermostat. The bathrooms have solar tubes in the ceiling and are flooded with light. The backyard has shady areas all day long and gives a zen feeling, southern style. The kitchen is well equipped and the dishware and cookware are easy to find. The front porch is a great place to enjoy the sounds of birds and the cozy feel of the street and neighborhood. Beach access is just as described in the property details: Two options... we took the option to the left, as it was primarily level with no stairs. Check-in and check-out were easy, and went smoothly, although we enjoyed our stay so much it was hard to leave. We will stay here every time we are in Emerald Isle.

Quiet Spot Near Beach

This is our second year staying with our kids and grandkids. We most like that it' is only 3-4 steps to getting into the house and everything is on one floor. - important for my husband who hates steps. The location is a very short (low traffic) walk to the beach. A beach wagon is available to carry your gear. Speaking of beach gear, there is a closet full of beach chairs and water toys. Also, on the beach, the Bogue Island Pier is only a 15-20 minute walk. Out back is a nice outdoor hot/cold water shower that is fully enclosed for privacy. Attached hose is good for feet washing and cleaning sandy chairs and toys. We find the house very comfortable. The furnishings are nice and comfortable. Quality mattresses, sheets, and towels. The bathrooms and bedrooms were nice. My husband wanted to suggest the addition of a hall tree or something added to the master bedroom to hang his shirts on. There are lots of drawers, however. The kitchen, living room, dining area is a large open space for everyone to gather. The kitchen is well outfitted for us. I would just add an electric griddle. I usually travel with mine since we enjoy pancakes during vacation. There were plenty of kitchen staples available for anything that I forgot to bring. Also, used the card table and chairs for puzzles. We completed 3 during our stay. The owner was always quick to reply. We made fast friends last year with the property manager. It was good to see Jim again!

Great for family vacation

This property was amazing! The house had a great layout and easily accommodated 5 people. There was everything that was needed for the beach. The kitchen was well equipped. I loved that this property was pet friendly as well. Corinne was very responsive to any questions that we had and the property manager was helpful as well. We could hear the waves for the porch and patio. This was an awesome place to stay, thank you Corinne for sharing you vacation home with us.

Close to the beach!

The house is adorable and was perfect for our family of 5. Inside was clean and well-kept. The back yard is cute, but it is a bit overgrown with leaves, ivy, and lots of bugs (ants and spiders), so we didn’t spend any time in the back. Not sure what kind of wildlife (like snakes?) that we would encounter, so we just didn’t go back there to be safe. One morning, there was a beautiful deer in the back yard, which was nice! The house is only a few minutes to walk to the beach, which is beautiful! Overall, we had a great stay, and we would definitely stay there again.

First Time Emerald Islers

The cottage is in an ideal location: family oriented and quiet with easy access to a quiet part of the beach. Local shops, grocery stores and theater are a 5 minute walk away. This rental answered all of our needs

Great time, close to the beach!!!

House was awesome. Had a couple of issues but, Jim the PM got right back to me and it fixed quickly… Beach chairs, wagon, and gas grill all were used and nice to have. Definitely would stay there again next time we go to the Emerald Isle area!!!!

Beach Retreat

Very comfortable and welcoming home! Best stocked kitchen I’ve seen in a rental! Cozy bedrooms with lots of room to relax and enjoy. Great location in a quiet neighborhood and very close to shopping and yummy restaurants.

Peaceful Getaway

I searched for a while for a perfect place for what we were looking for. Peaceful, private, near beach and reasonable. We found the cottage the perfect place! Minutes walk to private beach access, less than mile walk down beach to pier, most comfortable home to relax and regroup. Backyard has fireplace and relaxing atmosphere as well. Love the place, the stay and hope to rebook again next year! Go ahead book it, you won’t be disappointed!

Great place to stay with kids and grandparents. Having so few steps in and out was great. Walkable to several attractions, stores, and restaurants. Very comfortable and had a great visit.

Wonderful multi generation vacation home

3 generations (1.5 years to 70) quite comfortably spread out with rooms and beds for every family situation. Very much appreciated the well provisioned kitchen, open one level floor plan with lots of different areas (decks, back garden, screen porch) to gather or retreat to for quiet. Beach an easy walk, putt putt for kids an easy walk, grocery, pharmacy, restaurants, and souvenir shopping all within walking or quick drive. Thank you for a lovely experience that we look forward to revisiting in the future.
