Spacious, cozy home with a screen back porch that is great for sunning, dinner at sunset or looking at the stars. The many windows in the home offer a bright and sunny environment. All blinds filter light and all windows have blackout curtains. All appliances are newer. This is a great house in a great location...you can walk to First Watch for breakfast or lunch, shop at Dollar Tree, Burlington, Marshall's, Bealls and stop at Bonefish on the way home...while it's not within walking distance to the beach it is 3.0 mile drive to Sharky's on the Pier or Venice Beach. It sleeps, 4 to 6 Adults & children. Pets are welcome with a $100.00 non-refundable pet deposit.

There is a separate, private suite with a separate entrance that is in an isolated area for the owner. 1 common wall is doubled, sound-proofed. The inside door is a double-locked privacy door, bolted on each side. The sidewalk and gate to the suite are not visible from the guest's area. It also has a separate parking spot, leaving 3 spaces in the driveway for guests. We strive for no contact with our guests not to be unfriendly but this is your vacation time, we notify you of any goings on if we feel the need. Really though we just want to support you enjoying your stay.
Beautiful big neighborhood pool $5.00/person, per visit.

Our policy is to not contact guests unless we are needed. Access would be to come to the front door and ring the bell, after calling in advance if the guest need us or if something needs fixed.

Deb was very friendly. She laid a path of rugs down for one of our dogs who has "slick floor" issues, it was incredibly thoughtful and sweet. The house was clean and comfortable. The location was central to everything. We would stay here again for sure!

Great location! The house was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay.It had a lot of thoughtful touches, and it was clear the host put care into making sure guests are taken care of. Communication was smooth, and the check-in process was simple. Overall, a solid stay and we’ll definitely be booking again.

Great location

Cute house. Looks like they are doing some remodeling on the floor and a few other minor things. But over all a nice comfortable house. Also, pet friendly is a bonus ! Thank you for a nice stay :)

Absolutely Amazing Experience

I needed a place to stay with my 2 dogs for work and house hunting. It was very challenging to find accomodations. The property owner was very flexible, friendly and a wonder person. She also helped with my house search and went above and beyond. Very great experience.

spring training week

I came for a week to see Atlanta Braves spring training. Needed a place for just me. The house is older but just renovated. It was as advertised. Clean, well cared for. The owner was very attentive, but I didn't need much as what I needed was provided. I'll stay here again next year. Great fenced yard dominated by 2 huge trees.Great location near Hwy 41. Lower priced than competition( older house?)

Disappointed

Just 6 hours there were enough to notice all of us that the proprty is not ready for rent. We called the owner because the temperature of the house was hot, she answered that she forgot to turn the AC on. So at 6 pm when we arrive with a baby it was 78 oF. Two hours later when we came back from the beach, just one of the member of our family took a shower and he noticed that the bath tub was stocked. I called the owner again and she answered that VRBO was aware of the house plomber issues and that she spend $8700.00 trying to fixed it up. But at the end she never came to the house to fix it up. We have pictures as evidences of the problem. The only solution that she found was asking us to left the house without uses the beds. We left the house after we finish to talk to VRBO around midnight. She never refound us the total amount and we went back home late in the middle of the night with a baby.

Marita was in my home for about an hour before she sent me a photo of a blind that had one broken slat. Following the photo she told me that my house was not in good shape due to the one broken slat but added that she wanted to continue to stay. A few hours later she messages me that the bathtub was clogged up. I had just had all new PVC to replace cast iron pipes in the house so I was pretty sure that she was wrong. I explained to her that I had had a plumbing issue but it was fixed but instead of believing me she told me that she can't use the facilities but her and her group wanted to remain in the home until the next day, sleep in my beds, use my house but wanted a full refund. I said if you sleep in my home, I'm not giving you a refund for the cleaning fee. There were at least 5 adults and I see in her review that she mentioned a baby...I really don't know how many people were there but they stay and stay complaining the whole time. They called vrbo and got them involved. I responded to them asking them to have the guest explain to us why they won't leave if the house is so bad and why are they asking for a full refund when they have now been in the house 6 hours... Finally at midnight Vrbo convinced them that free and full refund for 5 plus people in my home is not an option so instead of stopping their nonsense and going to bed, they chose to leave, leaving was their choice. They were so sure that the bathtub was clogged and would not work with me to check anything. The stopper was activated so that the water could not drain. This lady is not a guest that you want in your home. BEWARE
