WORST HOST EVER!! We were on the property 3 hours.We booked a 7-night stay. After moving in, we tried to set the A/C temperature but discovered that the THERMOSTAT WAS ELECTRONICALLY LOCKED at a preset value & we couldn’t change it. We contacted the host & she told us that she WOULD NOT HELP US by either sending someone to unlock it or give us access to the settings. She stated “Unfortunately, this location does not have a thermostat that allows me to adjust it like that.” IT GETS WORSE! She went on to say “This coming Monday is supposed to be exceptionally cool here so you may choose to open the windows”. SERIOUSLY? She expected us to regulate the temperature, for an 8-day stay, by opening & closing the windows? We do not sleep w/ OPEN, UNLOCKED WINDOWS; this is a SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERN & it is COMPLETELY INAPPROPRIATE for a host to make that recommendation. She also stated “..it is not required for a host to say that they lock the thermostat..”. During our stay, the official temperatures ranged from 38-83 degrees F.Space limitation here will not permit me to address the host’s instructions related to QUESTIONABLE WATER QUALITY. VRBO CONFIRMED that her listing DID NOT state that the temperature would be preset & not changeable by the guest. VRBO called & emailed the host & she did not answer. VRBO asked us to stay another hour to get a reply from her…it never came & we left. She refused our refund request.This host MISREPRESENTS THE PROPERTY by omitting key details.

Eine schöne Wohnung in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet mit sehr netten Nachbarn. Die Wohnung ist liebervoll eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet. Auch der Kontakt zu Vermieterin war sehr gut und unkompliziert. Ein großer Parkplatz ist direkt vor dem Haus. Der Bereich auf der Terrasse ist komplett mit Mückengittern geschützt und der Ausblick in den Garten ist sehr schön. Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick in den Sonnenaufgang, großartig! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Clean and conveniently located home in Venice

This home is located close to beaches and was very clean and cozy. The host was quick to respond to inquiries and the description is completely accurate. Would stay again.

A Perfect Stay - Highly Recommend!

I had an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, everything was exactly as described and more. The house was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The beds were super cozy, and the bathroom had fresh towels and high-quality toiletries.The location was ideal—close to Venice beach and downtown, which made it really convenient for exploring the area. Plus, the neighborhood was quiet and safe, so I felt completely at ease.The hosts were fantastic – they were super responsive and provided detailed instructions, making check-in/check-out a breeze. I can’t recommend this place enough! If you're looking for a peaceful, well-located, and comfortable spot to stay, this is it. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town!

Venice getaway

House is in a very nice neighborhood. Location was less than 10 minutes from two beaches. Neighborhood was great for walking as traffic was regularly light. It also worked well for me, as one reason I came to Florida was to attend baseball Spring Training games. Kitchen was very well equipped for preparing daily meals.

Loved this place!

My husband said this was his favorite place that we've stayed in! The location was perfect for us to be near our family. The back yard was great for our dog. Beds were comfy, bathroom shower was great, overall we lived it!

Visiting family

This property came exactly as portrayed-very clean, cute & easily accessible by someone who may have need of easy access into the home, shower areas. (Elderly-needing low step access into showers, etc.) The host was quick to respond to any questions we had. Very pleased with our stay.

Relaxing vacation

Home was comfortable and was exactly as described & shown in listed photos. Had a little problem with the sliding door that goes out to the patio. The owner, Laura, came right over and fixed it. Laura was very easy to contact & her response was always quick. I/We would definitely stay again.

South Venice Gem!

Loved our stay in South Venice The location of this little gem can’t be beat! Close to beaches, walking trails,great restaurants shopping and much more. The home was perfect for us and had everything we needed for our extended stay! The home was very clean, and tastefully decorated. We felt very comfortable it was a great home away from home and we would not hesitate to stay again! Laura the host was excellent and quick to answer any questions we had right away! Would not hesitate to book with her again!

Our home has been completely renovated and contains new kitchen appliances including dishwasher and built in microwave. Great entertaining space that transitions to the screened porch for additional dining and visiting options. 2 master bedrooms with on suite bathrooms make this home ideal for 2 couples to share and both include Smart Tv's. The location is perfectly situated near Shamrock Park, Pickleball Courts, and several world classes beaches perfect for finding shark teeth or relaxing with your beverage of choice to watch the sunset. Restaurants and numerous shopping option are all close by.
