Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Memories with your family, friends, church group or leadership group will last forever. There's lots to do on the property. You can enjoy catch and release fishing at our private pond, walk and watch nature, trekking and ATV trails. You will enjoy watching the deer as they graze near the pond. Our home / retreat is perfect for a quick getaway or to bring the family together.

Family Deer Season

Love Love Love this place. Second time to stay and it will be our go to for all future stays. The house is roomy, clean and the view is amazing. The host answers all questions and responds fast. You will not be disappointed.

Excellent Quiet Getaway

This property was exactly as listed in the app. Nice home and cute decor. Quiet country setting. Would go back or definitely recommend if anyone is needing a place in central/eastern central Texas.

Perfect Place for Christmas

Spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed and more. Our host took the time to put up a Christmas tree and decorate. Perfect for the little ones. Deer and wildlife everywhere and lovely views while sitting on the deck. Absolutely enjoyed our stay and will be back.

Nice & Quiet

Really nice, secluded rental. The property was super lovely & scenic. Loved all the amenities & how quiet everything was. The house was large & the property was even bigger - my dogs really enjoyed it! Only issue was finding the property but the owner was super helpful in finding it. Really made the experience worth it. Would go again

Spring Vacation

This property was AMAZING! The pictures does this place no justice, it is just BEAUTIFUL. Very peaceful, the view of the sunrise and sunset was spectacular. A great place to getaway from the fast movement of the city life. We will be visiting again. Thank you Mr. Mims for extending your piece of paradise to us.

Secluded Country home

The property is very private, and basically surrounded by hayfields and pasture. The house was well stocked with anything that you might need while you are there. There’s a couple of big porches with a beautiful view! Pet friendly, so I was able to bring my dogs. They loved exploring the property, & plenty of room to run.

Valerie is a super nice host and is very quick to respond to questions etc. When traveling for work, so many things can go wrong… I like the dependability of knowing I have a great place to call home for a few nights!!! Thank you Valerie! We will be back!!

Deer Lease Vacay

It was such a great time ! It accommodated our whole family . The kitchen is fully stocked for cooking . The beds were comfortable and it was very clean . The grounds are just beautiful and that made the entire trip . My grandkids loved running outside and playing in the leaves . They have fire pit, grill and wonderful outdoor lighting . You will not be disappointed in the hospitality they went above and beyond .

Lost in the Hayfield

This was a perfect location for our gathering. We were headed to Buffalo TX for a family wedding, and this was a wonderful retreat from the festivities.

Lovely peaceful stay!

We loved our stay here! The house is cute as a button, and so clean with comfy beds. We loved sitting out in the deck and watching the dogs living out their best lives playing and running in the great outdoors. Perfect place for some peace and quiet if you love the Texas countryside. We travel to Buffalo frequently and plan to come back to this little gem often.

Beautiful home and property

The place is absolutely gorgeous. It is peaceful and quiet. The pictures do not do justice to the home or the property. The host, Valerie, is very responsive and will answer any questions you have. This is a well-stocked, well maintained, much loved, and welcoming rental. It has a full kitchen and then some. There are plenty of linens. It is spacious and clean. Pets are welcome. Our dog is old and sick, but he rolled around in the grass and ran around the property like a puppy! It is in the middle of nowhere. Use 290 CR 411 as the GPS address and arrive well before dark. We can't wait to go back!
