Charming beachside vacation home conveniently located within walking distance to beach, dining, ice cream, shopping, putt putt golf and many other amenities. It’s just a few minute walk to deck down under with great seafood and the best views on the intercoastal waterway Halifax river. Also within walking distance is Jimmy Hulas, Dunes Brewery, Dairy Bar, homemade ice cream stand and Genoveses best Italian food and pizza on the beach side. Jan - Mar monthly bookings only

Located in a quiet family neighborhood with a large fenced in back yard and patio with seating, dining and gas grill. Front porch faces intercoastal waterway canal with the best sunsets!

Location is Daytona Beach Shores area just over the dunlawton bridge. Front of house is facing the intercoastal waterway and the beach is just a 2 block walk. House is newly renovated and fully furnished, ready for your stay!

All rooms include iPhone chargers. There’s plenty of board games and books to read. Weber gas Grill on outside patio in fenced in back yard. SMART TVs in every room include Hulu subscription. We have done our best to set up the home so that all you need to bring is your clothes.

We can accommodate 6 people. Please do not bring more than 6 people!

One car garage includes a brand new washer and dryer, bikes, beach cart, umbrella, beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and a fishing pole.

We have very high cleaning standards. Between guests we change out all bed linens including the mattress pad. In addition, all beds and pillows have zippered covers which are anti microbial and allergen free.

We can often be flexible at check in upon request. For check out we would need advanced notice if a later check out would be needed. Otherwise we usually have a house cleaner already scheduled at 10 am check out time.

If you are bringing a pet please be sure that it is 20 pounds or less and e-mail me with pet info so we are aligned. We are pet lovers but also want to avoid large or aggressive breeds and multiple dogs.

Excellent location and great vacation home. Very accommodating to our little dog and the gracious host even put up a Christmas tree for us! Home was well furnished and supplied with everything we needed.

We had a great vacation there. House was clean, had everything we needed and is in a great location. Linda was fantastic at letting us know everything we needed to check in. She even made a video on how to enter the front door and through the garage. Plus all the house and back yard. Our dogs loved staying there. It was a nice quiet neighborhood and also very close to the beach and places to eat and drink. She is probably the best host we have ever had. We loved every minute of our stay.

This house was very pet friendly. Our dog loved the fenced in backyard. Plenty of space for her to run around and play. Parking was accomodating for 2 vehicles and easy to get into. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful home with great artwork, quiet room, lighted back porch, great views from front porch, and added bonus of pac-man arcade game in one of rooms. We wish we could have stayed longer. Close to Jimmy Hulas, Dairy Bar, CVS, & mini golf among other places. Great location & quiet neighborhood to enjoy. Host very friendly & communicates throughout stay.

What a wonderful visit. This home is a perfect example of an old Florida beach house lovingly restored and impeccably decorated. I love that some of the old 1970s/60s remnants were left with the house such as the terrazzo floors, cinder block half wall and built-in cabinets. I have very fond memories of being a child in the '70s coming to my grandparents beach home with my parents which was very reminiscent for me. But for our trip this weekend we had a wonderful stay. We live about 30 minutes away. Family came to visit and we wanted to stay at the beach for the weekend. The best part is we were able to bring our golf cart and drive to and from the beach and to restaurants. We could have walked to all of that too, but we brought my 80-year-old mother with us so it was perfect for us. We will definitely be back. Thank you Linda for such a marvelous place to spend quality family time.

We recently stayed here for nine days while having our floors redone at home, and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The house was cozy, comfortable, and incredibly well stocked—everything we needed and more. The fully enclosed yard was perfect for our two fur babies, which gave us so much peace of mind.My husband and I both enjoyed our stay so much that I almost didn’t want to leave! We’ve already been recommending this place to neighbors who are also going through renovations. The owner was wonderful—always in touch just enough to make sure we were comfortable, without ever being intrusive. I have been staying at VRBO properties since 2018 and this is by far the best one. The host has prepared the house for all your needs. Plenty of utensils, plates, and bathroom essentials. The property cleanliness is impeccable and by far the best I have stayed at. The host also went the extra mile to make us welcome with a bottle of champagne, sausage, cheese, and crackers awaiting our arrival. This stay was for our 34th anniversary and was a great choice.

Nice house with a great fenced in back yard. Perfect for our fur babies. Quiet neighborhood. Easy walk to beach with everything you need. You can walk to restaurants, stores etc. grocery store is less than a mile away. We enjoyed our 2 week stay and will definitely work with Linda for our next vacation

Better Than a Beach 'House'

This lovely beach community home (not just a rental house) offers too many amenities to list. Our host, Linda, is a one-of-a-kind property owner who is attuned to any and all needs. She lives locally and is attentive to any questions or concerns. This home is immaculate, updated, upscale 'coastal', and in a quiet neighborhood at a private river canal, yet two short blocks to the beach. Bring your flip flops (or sneakers) and walk (or grab a bike) to the ocean where you can enjoy the best sugar-sand beach, unforgettable sunrises, SpaceX launches, and all the sun and warmth you can absorb in a day (or week or month). From sun up to sun down, you will also appreciate the private yard, beautiful patio furniture, yard games, BBQ, and magnificent sunset views. End your day in a comfy bed.Although located super close to the beach, this home invites you to get away from the beach traffic, the noise, and the chaos of tourists. Chill with a glass of wine and enjoy the gentle breezes amidst peaceful surroundings. Little things matter...and Linda has thought of them all.For those individuals who have experienced beach hotels and condos at Daytona Beach Shores, this home provides ample private garage parking. No lugging your suitcases (and other stuff) up an elevator; no wishing for some private space to chill; no 'condo or hotel rules'. Common sense rules apply here. Thanks, Linda, for all the 'little things' that add to the value of a FL 'home away from home'.

Birthday Celebration in Port Orange

My daughter and I stayed at this amazing house to be in the area for a 90th birthday party for my father. Everything about this house was perfect ! So clean, which is my first requirement and Linda was so easy to communicate with throughout the stay . The house had everything! And neighborhood very quiet. I will definitely stay here again if I’m in the area and highly for those looking in that location .

The absolute best! Location, location, location!

This property is AMAZING! Location is everything!, Easy to find and in a very nice quiet neighborhood. Short walk or drive the beach, I rode one of the bikes made available with the property to the beach and we walked to the putt putt located a block away. There are so many nice local restaurants and shops a stones throw away, and the area is active but not as busy as the Daytona Beach strip area which is a short drive away as well. The home was impeccable and very clean and well kept. Looks exactly like the pictures and many nice details that you can’t see in the photos. Plenty of space for us to navigate around inside the home and it has such a nice patio and yard area. Linda was an amazing host and her communication was outstanding! She made our stay feel like home away from home and her property was perfect for our family trip! We will absolutely return if we can secure Linda’s property again!

A Splendid House in a Peaceful Neighborhood

This is a 5-star property in 5-star condition. The house was spotlessly clean when we moved in, and the fine appliances and TVs worked perfectly. We had no problems at all, and Linda was a gracious and attentive host. The back patio (now covered) was very comfortable, and the grill was a joy to use. The bridge over to the island was in view, but inside the house, we never heard the traffic, even during bike week, with all the motorcycles. Access to the drive-on beach was an easy two blocks away, and the numerous fine restaurants were close at hand. We visited the Daytona Speedway, the big lighthouse at the inlet, and the NASA Space Center, each within an easy drive. This was one of the very best trips to a Florida beach we have made, and we intend to come back here as much as we can. If 5-stars is the very best rating, I'd like to give this 6-stars!

Great Retreat in Port Orange

As a family of Seniors, we were looking for a quiet place to get away from the Canadian Winter for a month. This wonderful cottage fit the bill perfectly. It is well appointed, in a nice quiet cul de sac with friendly neighbors. Walking distance to the beach and several restaurants as well as a drug store, liquor store and souvenir store! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Linda is the absolute best host, she is very responsive and it is obvious that she cares about her "Sunset" Cottage. We would recommend this to anyone, couples or families.

Great house just of the beach

Stayed here for the Christmas holiday, house was decorated for the holiday and was super well equipped from the kitchen utensils and dishes to a nice coffee bar. The TVs and WI-FI both worked well. Nice layout of furniture in the house. Also the bedding and towels were great. We will definitely be renting again.

Lovely property & neighborhood

Beautiful, clean property with everything we needed. We enjoyed morning walks around the neighborhood and walking to the Dunes Brewery in the evening after the beach. Short walk to the beach, and a few restaurants within walking distance. We loved the privacy of the backyard and still getting the beachy vibes. Bill & Linda were wonderful hosts!

Very nice property in a safe neighborhood

Loved that this property was in a very safe and quiet area! Walking distance to the beach and restaurants. My son loved the fishing, and taking a bike ride on the beach. The check in process was super easy, the owner came from his place across the street to give us the rundown on the property and area. The property was very well appointed with dishes and pots and pans for all of our needs. The house was clean and nicely decorated. Loved the backyard and would’ve used it if we brought our dog and if it wasn’t so hot. Would stay here again.

I enjoy riding my bike on the beach, boating, fishing and spending time with family and my closest friends. My dream is to permanently retire in Daytona Beach Shores and continue this lifestyle as much as possible.

fell in love with this house. It is in a great location and neighborhood. The house has been fully renovated and most recently includes a covered back porch and custom closets. You can watch the boats go by and take pictures of the beautiful sunsets. This neighborhood is a quiet family neighborhood that is tucked away from traffic but still close enough to walk everywhere you need.
