Nestled on 3 acres of beautiful land this newly built luxury modern farmhouse has one bedroom and one bathroom and sleeps two. With big Mountain views you will be awe struck with the scenery as well as the closeness of the heard of deer that visit often. The cottage boasts ten foot ceilings as well as beautiful hardwood floors and tile in the bathroom. The bedroom has a great king mattress so you will sleep better than at home as well as a smart uhd tv. We use hi end luxury linens so you will have a great experience. One full wall in the living room and the bedroom are shiplap. There is a full kitchen, combo pot and pod coffee maker, a Nepresso pod coffee maker, a gas fireplace, as well as washer dryer. The cottage has free hi speed internet and a 50 inch smart tv in the living room and a smart tv in the bedroom. Enjoy your morning or any part of your day sitting on the back porch with a cup of coffee gazing at the mountains. We even fenced in a portion of the back yard in case you bring your small dog. We do allow one dog per stay and it must weigh less than 15 lbs. We have to approve your dog prior to arrival and we charge a pet fee that must be paid. No other pets will be considered and we do not allow service animals. The cottage is in Abingdon, VA and is close to everything. The Virginian and Olde Farm Golf Clubs are 2 miles, we are about a half mile from South Holston lake and Painters Creek Marina, Bristol and Abingdon are both about ten minute drive and Johnson City is about forty five minutes. Fishing, boating, kayaking or hanging out at the marina is just a few minutes away. Spend the day renting a pontoon boat or bring your own, the lake is almost within sight from the cottage. Or take a ten minute drive to Bristol and try your luck at the now open Hard Rock Casino or attend the Nascar Races at the Bristol Motor Speedway or Dragstrip, Thunder Valley. If you love history, the historic town of Abingdon, VA is only about ten minutes away. Take in a play at the barter Theater and enjoy the great local restaurants like the Tavern or The Martha Washington. We built our house and guest house “the Cottage” and decided to share it with everyone. The location is ideal to take in all the different activities around.
