About this space
Get away from city life and enjoy a peaceful escape. Take an easy 10 minute walk to the lake and town where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery. We are between Lake Arrowhead & Big Bear. Hiking and off-road trails are everywhere & we're close to Snow Valley Ski Resort & Snow Summit skiing. We have a game room with a pool table and air hockey table in the garage along with puzzles and board games in the main living area. There are stairs in this cabin and 3 total levels.

THE SPACE
We do have a steep incline driveway. Guests are only allowed to park on the paved driveway on the left closest to the cabin and not on our neighbors driveway. You will be asked to move your car if parked on neighbors side.

The main living area which is the middle level is where the kitchen, living room with fire place, tv, dining table and bathroom are. Enjoy indoor and outdoor dining on our deck with a great view of surrounding nature. Bottom level is the master suite with a King size bed, futon bed and bathroom. Top bedroom loft on third level has a full size bed, twin size bed and a second twin size bed in the upper loft. There is also a work/study desk area on your way up to the third level.

Other things to note
There are stairs in this cabin going up to the main living area and bedrooms. You do need to access the primary bedroom to enter the garage.

Disclaimer: We have 3 actively recording cameras on the property. One device is above the front door overlooking the front door and part of the driveway. One device is by the driveway, above the garage. One device is on the deck. All devices are on the exterior of the property.

During winter months, we require all guests have vehicles with AWD/4x4 and chains to ensure vehicle gets up and down the driveway safely. Prior to your stay, driveway is plowed, however, if snow is covering driveway during your stay, guests are responsible for shoveling. Shovels provided by host in the garage. This ensures guests vacate property at the time of check-out of 10:00am or guest will be charged $100 each hour past stay.

Great stay in the snow

The house was perfect for my family of 5 and my dog. Even though the patio was covered in snow, I still sat out and enjoyed nature. The owners were so responsive to every question I had. I highly recommend the A frame for a quick trip away.

Fantastic location and amazing deck

My family of 6 and two dogs loved our stay. We enjoyed the walks to the lakes and fished twice a day. The deck is amazing and enjoyed our evenings out there. The decor is so chic! The only small complaint is when sleeping upstairs you do hear the creaking of the A-Frame from time to time ( I am light sleeper - so wear ear plugs). We loved our stay! We drove into Big Bear which is about 20-30 mins for lunch. Perfect location!

Instagram-worthy A-frame you won’t regret staying at!

Our family of 4 and our dog just stayed at this beautiful A-frame and we loved it. The owners Eric & Courtney did such a great job renovating it, it truly is beautiful. Super spacious living area with seating and beds for larger groups. The deck was huge and lovely to just hangout on. The location was easy to find, close to Green Valley Lake and about 25 minutes to Big Bear Lake. Communication with the hosts was great from the moment we booked until we checked out. And if you want awesome pictures to post on Instagram, this is the place to stay!

Perfect Getaway

Eric and Courtney's listing was perfect for a getaway our family of 3 during the Holiday weekend. The space matched the listing photos accurately, but we were still blown away with our first steps into the door. We had all the supplies for cooking inside and out of the house. Super loungey and comfortable couch and beds available, and the deck was our favorite space to take in the quiet and mountain breeze. We enjoyed the nearby hiking and the shops close by. You can really tell the amount effort and care they put into the space which we appreciated just as much as the constant communication Eric and Courtney had with us. We'll definitely be back to bring our families to create even more memories. Be sure to book this treasure of a place!

Quick trip to play in the snow

Staying at the Green Valley Lake A-Frame was an absolute win for us – easily a five-star experience. Just a short cruise away from Snow Valley, the place hit the mark on every level. Cleanliness? Check. The beds weren't just comfortable; they were like sleeping on a cloud, ensuring we were warm and well-rested each night. The kitchen didn’t just meet our needs; it exceeded them, fully stocked and ready. Beyond the physical comforts, what really made our stay standout was the host's vibe – super friendly and on the ball, making communication a breeze. I’d book this spot again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend it if you’re in search of a chill spot that feels both like an escape and a home away from home.

Look no further! Best cabin we've ever stayed at!

If you are reading this review is probably because you are looking for your next stay. You can stop trying to find the perfect place, because THIS IS IT! We've stayed at other cabins in different places and this one is the one where we felt AT HOME. Everything is superb! From the location (everything is at close distance, but secluded enough to feel you are in the middle of the woods), to the A-shape architecture, the peace of the surroundings, the decor, interior design, distribution, size of each room, and the care that the owners have taken to make this wonderful property a one-of-a-kind. Every detail is well-thought. You have everything you need so just pack your clothes, food, and your peace of mind, because most likely you won't even need to leave the cabin. We planned this trip to disconnect from the busy every-day life and challenges, and that's exactly what we got. Comfortable beds, quality linens on all rooms, extra everything you can think of (sheets, pillows, blankets), bathroom and kitchen with all your essentials, a very nice collection of board games and puzzles to keep you entertained, TV, internet (if what you need is to be connected while away), temperature control, dishwasher, an incredibly fun garage with pool table and air hockey, and our favorite part: THE VIEWS that you can enjoy from the living room while chilling, from the deck while meditating or grilling, or from the comfort of your bed at night. We enjoyed the stars that we can barely see from the city, and even saw some shooting stars. Eric and Courtney, our family of 4 (husband/wife/daughter and dog) can't thank you enough for opening the doors to your home and for the amazing communication and help along the way! We are for sure coming back to create more precious memories.

Peaceful Little Gem

Our family of 5 (2 adults, 2 teens & our dog) were so happy to find this little gem last minute for a short weekend getaway to take advantage of the snow. This is the cutest rustic modern A-Frame! The cabin was built in the 60s, but seemed to be recently updated with all of the modern touches and conveniences of home. The owners took advantage of every nook and cranny of space. It was nice to have 3 different bed options for the kids in the loft. The downstairs bedroom was super cozy and private, but managed a king, a pull out futon and an ensuite bath. It was just the 4 of us, but this place could accommodate 2 small families with no problem. The main level is laid out with an open floor plan and plenty of seating, along with extra blankets for cozying up by the fire. It was nice to have a full bath on the main level. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The balcony was huge with a nice view and had a very large newer BBQ. We didn't take advantage of the garage space with the pool table and air hockey, as it was a little too cold in there, but it is a great option to have. There were plenty of board games to choose from and outlets galore for the kids' electronics. It was nice to have the Roku that securely logs you out automatically with your departure date, so we could log in and watch our shows and not worry about logging out of everything before we leave. There is a great sledding hill close by, as well as hiking trails. Green Valley Lake is close enough if you wanted to run up to Big Bear to snowboard or ski or go into town, but we just go there to get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the quiet of this sleepy little town. Eric was unbelievably helpful, thoughtful & thorough. He really made this house a home and truly wanted us to share in his love of his little cabin. Thanks so much!

Everything you want in a mountain getaway!

I've always wanted to stay in an authentic A-Frame and this property did not disappoint! Wonderfully designed to be comfortable and practical as well as whimsical and relaxing. Enough space for everyone to spread out and find their nook to explore and chill in but also an awesome game room with air-hockey and pool. I'd say the deck is one of the best features as its spacious, completely enclosed for pets and has everything you need (grill, space heater, lounge chairs & picnic table, hanging lights) to spend tons of time outdoors. I couldn't have loved this cabin more!

We wanted an A-Frame because we love the architecture. We were on the hunt for an A-frame in the local lake towns to Southern, CA when we came across this one. After working on it for 9 months to transform it to our liking, we decided to rent it out for others to enjoy!

This A Frame cabin has a huge deck with outdoor dining and grill. Inside we have a fireplace and TV. Also, we have a game room in the garage with an air hockey table and pool table! We also have puzzles and board games. You'll always have something to do here or relax in a scenic paradise.
