Large Patio, Just 1 House From The Sand: 3410 A

Lower Unit Gem one House from the Beach
This lower unit is just one house from one of the best beaches on the Peninsula, ideal for sunning, surfing, boogie boarding and more! Pets allowed with prior approval. Some exceptions apply.

The living area has a roomy L-shaped leather sofa and loveseat, a large ottoman and flat panel TV. The white and bright fully equipped kitchen has a side-by-side refrigerator, and plenty of cabinet and counter space making the kitchen an efficient space for whipping up family favorites or serving up take out when the chef needs a break. The square dining table has seating for 6.

The master bedroom has a king bed and en-suite bath. The second bedroom has two twin beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed. The second bathroom is in the hall between the second and third bedrooms.

The front patio has a table with seating for six and a market umbrella for enjoying warm summer evenings. The whole family can enjoy meals grilled on the gas BBQ.

There is a laundry room with a washer and dryer. One parking space in the shared garage. The garage is low clearance, tall vehicles and roof racks will not fit.

Pavilions grocery store is three blocks away on 32nd Street, flanked by several local's favorite eateries. Lido Marina Village with high-end and casual restaurants and boutiques is a quick walk away. The Newport Pier area with shops and local eateries galore is minutes away by bicycle or scenic 10-15 minute walk along the beach. This location is perfect for families looking to explore the area and enjoy the beach!

Great location for a family vacation

Brought the family here while checking out some colleges in the area. Weather wasn’t great, but the sunsets were incredible.

Excellent Location. Needs to be Updated.

This property location is fabulous. The furniture is outdated and uncomfortable. Also, the kitchen is nicely stocked with dishes and cookware, but the spices were all outdated and stale. Also, no soaps for even washing hands. The property manager is extremely professional and on the ball.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great stay just ~50 feet from the beach in Newport. Only issue was a lower level of quality in property management than I'd expect (floors not swept/mopped before we arrived, beds not made just sheets rolled up for us to handle). Not a show-stopper, just felt like corners were getting cut a bit. Furniture and maintenance were a little dated as well, but it's a beach rental so expectations aren't supposed to be sky-high.

Great location but needs more service

The house was spacious and a perfect location near the beach. However, we had to put sheets on our own beds and unpack the towels that were wrapped up in plastic. For the price we paid, I expected the beds to be made and towels be folded on the towel rack and readily accessible. There were also only two tiny bars of soap and no shampoo. The towels were also very thin and worn and grayish. The kitchen was well stocked except for utensils. There were only five spoons. With just a little bit more effort, this place can get a better rating. There are so many places available to rent in that area that I don’t know if I would come back here. I would want to try another place first to see if I would get better service.

The family room had enough couch space for us all to fit comfortably, and everyone slept well in the rooms. Very clean and organized home. The location is amazing - so close to the beach and a quick walk to restaurants and ice cream. Disappointed that they don’t keep at least a few beach towels in the home, though we brought our own so it didn’t matter. The WiFi password didn’t work and management responded immediately to fix it. Love the front porch to hang out and great to have the garage space for parking. Overall, an excellent rental! Will return!

The kitchen didn’t have a lot of bowls or containers to put food in which was a little difficult. We also felt like the home wasn’t very clean when we arrived. It would be amazing to have some carpet throughout the home. It would make it feel a little more cozy. With all tile you just have to wear shoes all of the time. Overall it was amazing though!

We could not get into the property on time because it was still being 'cleaned' and we had to make our beds upon arrival (and strip them upon check out). The house smelled of bleach but it was not clean. The kitchen cabinets were sticky, personal garbage in bedroom, sand in sofa. The unit is in dire need of updating, the furniture is old and not in good condition. Needless to say we checked out early.

Nice place right across from the beach

Great location. Limited street parking + 1 garage spot. Problems: unit didn't come with soap, had to make our own bed, and the utility company shut off our power for a whole day (7 hours). But overall good stay.

The location was PERFECT and just a few steps from the beach! It was so convenient to have a beach day and be able to just walk home to use the restroom, refill drinks, or grab a snack. Also, the BEST part was watching the sunset and sunrise. HIGHLIGHT of our trip was watching the sunrise one of the mornings and we saw a bunch of dolphins playing in the cove! Best Experience ever! We also loved that there was a grocery store and restaurants within walking distance. If it's warm enough the patio was amazing to have breakfast at while listening to the ocean! Clean house with a well stocked kitchen. We cooked breakfast every morning and they had everything we needed to cook (besides the food of course). They even had extra board games on hand.The property management was so responsive and polite. We had to do after hours check-in and they were so responsive and made it such a smooth check-in and checkout. Very accommodating!
