Clean, nice beach house with plenty of room for all 6 adults. We enjoyed all the extra perks at the property (bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels, games, etc). Darcy is a great host and communication was easy. The location to the beach and stores was perfect. We'd stay here again.

Good location from the beach. About a 15 min walk to the pier. Our 4 teen kids loved having the bikes to explore. Overall great place to rent with a family. Darcie is very responsive and helped with anything we needed. We will stay here again when we return

It was close to the beach, clean, had beach toys, chairs and towels, etc. We had a great time using the bikes! There is no kitchen table, and a small living room, which made it hard to gather to eat and hang out, but the outdoor table and chairs on the patio worked great. The ac was nice on the muggy nights.

The place was walking distance to the beach. The outdoor space was wonderful, the fireplace was great and it was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It’s a little tight if you do have 10 people, do be prepared to spend all of your time outside if you have a lot of people. There is only one small living room inside. Wonderful time on the beach and friendly neighbors!

Best thing is the location, a short, easy walk to the beach. Worst thing is the tight parking. I was lucky to find street parking as I would not want to have to squeeze a second car in! The house is very comfortable and we enjoyed the selection of games and toys. Only two small quibbles - I had asked if there was coffee and told yes, but there wasn't. Fortunately a good coffee place nearby! Also, I had asked about beach toys and didn't get an answer - there were plenty of shovels and rakes and so on, but no pails. Other than those two small things, we loved our stay.

The location is great and the property has a ton of potential. The area was safe and it was a short walk to the beach! Positives: The host was kind, and communicated with us that there was a plumbing issue, and got it fixed as soon as she was able. She also offered a partial refund for the inconvenience. She had a pack and play for us to borrow for our baby. Negatives: a) The listing showed two parking spots in tandem, but we could not get our suburban in there. Make sure you have a small car when travelling and don't count on two cars fitting. b) The bed frame in the primary room was broken at the foot of the bed when we arrived.c) The air conditioning did not work well and it was hot the entire trip.d) The house needs some renovation as it was run down and used quite a bit.e) The property owner came to the house unannounced to switch the outdoor couch pillows. I wish we were told beforehand as I wanted our privacy respected. I expect privacy when renting a VRBO. Overall, our family had a great trip but I will be looking at other listings for future travels to Newport Beach.

Good location and space however the house was either perpetually damp or worse as the smell of urine/damp was incredibly strong when we arrived. We ran the air conditioning unit most of the time to try to dispel the smell, but I could only sleep with the ceiling fan running to try to move the air. The bunk beds’ frame was metal and had some sharp/rusty edges that I felt uncomfortable having my kids climb onto, would be worthwhile repainting/repairing. I am sad to say these aspects made for a regrettable booking as the home is large, lots of sleeping space and two nice bathrooms to accommodate a large group/family. The outside seating are was a nice touch and the kitchen was functional for our needs as a family.

We loved the house. It was just a very short walk to the beach and there is a great local doughnut shop in walking distance. The porch is a great place to hang out. I would definitely book again
