FLORENCE ITALY PERFECT PRISCO APARTMENT

The Prisco apartment is located half a block off fashionable Via Tornabuoni near Palazzo Strozzi. It is on the third floor of a building with an elevator. Restaurants, shops abound in this neighborhood. The apartment is extremely spacious, 85 square meters/900 square feet.

The morning sun illuminates the living room and kitchen area. Enjoy the comfort and convenience of an open plan living room and kitchen area.

Throw open the large living room, bedroom & kitchen windows and enjoy the lively scene below. The apartment features many original Italian antiques, yet the living room maintains a casual feel with a modern Italian sofa that opens to become a comfortable bed.

In the morning zip down to the bakery that is next door to the apartment building and pick out your morning bread and pastries. At night, enjoy a glass of wine and relax a bit before you head out to one of the many excellent neighborhood restaurants.

The kitchen has a gas range with grill, a large oven, lots of cabinet and countertop space, dishwasher, and a large refrigerator with freezer, pots, pans, dishes.

The spacious bedroom has high ceilings, a romantic draped bed and a chaise longue-style single bed for one. A pretty hand-painted armoire and an antique dresser provide ample clothing storage space. ! We like to advise guests that since this apartment is in the popular historic center, there can be street noise at night from pedestrians (not cars) down below who are strolling by after a meal at one of the many nearby restaurants, however the bedroom window has a very effective sound-dampening panel.

Things To Note

There is a queen bed and a small single bed in the bedroom. The small single bed is suitable for a child.

Double glazed bedroom windows help reduce pedestrian noise, light sleepers take note of lively neighborhood.

For stays greater than 4 weeks, a €500 damage deposit is collected in cash on arrival. Utility costs will be deducted from the deposit.

Check in is from 5pm-7pm, by appointment. NO CHECK IN AFTER 7pm, sorry no exceptions. Check out 10:00am.

Our stay was a great one. Location was near to everything we needed. Our laundry area was just outside our door in a small room. Great restaurant, pastry/coffee shop just a few steps from our apartment, also, a wine window. Our visit was late November and the outdoor decorations were so pretty. Also visited a Christmas market and saw street performers in front of the Duomo…..fabulous!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Prisco. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The location is perfect and it was great to have such a spacious place. Lots of restaurants nearby. We could walk everywhere.

Great Location

This apt is very large and convenient to almost everything you want. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it. (The stove/oven has some issues which need to be fixed )

Prisco is great place in great location

Advert is quite accurate in all counts and even understates how this large apt. is in a great location for sights and events, with excellent restaurants and stores and the "Rodeo Drive" of Florence 1/4 block away; bring earplugs for sleeping because of area popularity; owners Miki and Franco are such nice and helpful people; I will definitely stay at Prisco again when I return to Florence

Imagine the absolute perfect spot in Firenze. This is it. 16th century apartment with space for our entire family, close to all the action and amazing food close by. Without the fabolous owners and beautiful home, our trip would not have been even close to the success it was. Enjoy and tell them the Mertz family will be back every year or two!

Managers make the apartment!!!!!

This is a fantastic property....the apartment is wonderful and the location is amazing. Best of all are the managers, who are there for you 100%. Franco and Mikki are the BEST, and will help you with anything and everything. They make this apartment the only place to stay in Florence.

Great location, close to everything; extremely nice and helpful owners; charming, clean, and well equipped apartment, with little kitchen. The only problem we had was that the living room is not sound insulated as well as the bedroom, so it was harder to sleep well there.

We loved our stay in Florence at Prisco. Franco and Mikki were wonderful hosts. They were very helpful with the check in process and explaining the workings of the apartment and gave us very helpful recommendations for the city and neighborhood. They were very responsive when we had an issue with our key. The apartment is in the perfect location and is an easy walk to EVERYTHING! The apartment is very well appointed and very comfortable. We highly recommend the Prisco apartment!

Simply awesome!

This apartment is exactly as advertised. It is large and comfortable and convenient to many things. There is a grocery store about a block away, an ATM across the street, a bakery a few doors down and a travel agency across the street in case you need any help. We had them book our train tickets so we didn't have to buy them at the station. It was an easy walk to the station. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Florence.

Perfect Italy Location

Prisco was the perfect Italian apartment for us. Very spacious and a fantastic location! Close to everything we needed. The train was a very close and easy walk for day trips. We were given clear instructions for how to use everything in the apartment and everything went perfectly. I read about noise, but we had no problem at all. The bedroom was very dark and quiet. I had never rented an apartment while away, but this was definitely the way to go. I highly recommend Italy Perfect and Prisco!

We loved Priscilla 3!

Everything went very well with our VRBO Priscilla 3 in Florence! We loved it! Franko and Mimi greeted us upon arrival and went over everything with us. They even allowed us to check in early as when we arrived, we were exhausted and it was pouring rain! We took a taxi from the train station and it brought us right to the front door! The elevator helped tremendously because we had large bags for our 3 week trip. The apartment is in the middle of great shopping, eating and touring spots and we will certainly come back here again. Thank you for a wonderful visit to Florence!

A Home Away From Home in the Heart of Florence

We had an amazing stay at this Florence Vrbo! From the moment we arrived, the hosts were incredibly welcoming and gracious, especially when we had trouble finding the apartment (totally on us, we were just tired from traveling!). They patiently guided us in, then spent time walking us through everything: how to use the air conditioner, stove, washing machine, and even how to check the electricity meter. They also shared helpful tips for getting around the city. So thoughtful and kind!Do note that the check-in process is very thorough and takes about 45 minutes, so plan that into your schedule. Also, there’s an additional utility charge. Ours came to about 5 euros/day, running the AC in the evenings due to the summer heat. Definitely reasonable and well worth it for the comfort.The apartment itself is fantastic! Incredibly spacious for two people and could easily accommodate more. It’s filled with gorgeous natural light and truly felt like a home away from home. The location is unbeatable: we loved the ritzy coffee shop downstairs and the wine window right across the street.We cannot recommend this place enough for a short getaway or a longer stay in Florence. It was the perfect base to explore the city and come home to something special each day. Would absolutely return!

At Home in Florence

First, the apartment is charming, comfortable and perfectly located. What makes this place our favorite from our trip ( and we stayed in 4 different VRBO’s) was the feeling that you were being hosted in your Italian ancestors home. My husband had the need to see a doctor during our stay. That was scary for us, not knowing where to go and not speaking Italian. Miki walked us to the doctor and translated our needs on our behalf. She is priceless and we couldn’t have appreciated her more.

Fantastic location and apartment

This was my second time staying at the Prisco apartment. The apartment is so comfortable and has anything and everything that you need to make your stay wonderful. The greeters are the owners and they take such great care and pride of their apartments. They are also available for questions and advice as you need it. The location of this apartment is fantastic. It seems that you can go anywhere in Florence in 10 minutes. Great bakery downstairs and many good restaurants on the area. Italy Perfect also provides you with great information on Florence and many recommendations for shopping and eating which was immensely helpful. Perfect trip back to Florence again!! I would most definitely recommend this apartment to anyone going to Florence. Thanks

Old World Charm in a Great Location

A friend and I stayed in the Prisco apartment for 4 nights. The apartment is huge and decorated with Old World charm. The hosts are very gracious and gave us lots of information about the apartment and nearby attractions. There is a small collection of business cards from recommended restaurants; the ones we could get into (it was Easter and very crowded) were excellent. There is no street noise in the bedroom but it was sometimes loud for the person sleeping on the bed in the living room. Everything you need--small kitchen, washing machine, wireless internet--is available in this unit. It is also within walking distance of most of the attractions. I also had questions from the rental agency, Italy Perfect and couldn't be happier with the service I received. I recommend this apartment without hesitation.

Great Apartment

This is a wonderful, large apartment in the heart of Florence. We walked everywhere from this central location. The apartment is in a building with an elevator - something that was appreciated after busy full days of sightseeing. It is very comfortable, with a large couch in the well lit living room. The kitchen was very nice, and very functional - including a toaster and an American style coffee maker. The bedroom was huge! Once the windows and shutters were closed, there was no sound or light from outside. The bed was so comfortable, I needed to struggle to get up in the morning! The bathroom was very nice and modern, with plenty of storage room. And above all else, the apartment was very clean. I know that we will want to stay here on our next visit to Florence.

Holidays at Prisco, Michaela and Strozzi

My family and I spent most of December through early January at the Strozzi, Prisco and Michaela apartments. The accommodations were perfect for 3 couples with both privacy within each unit and the ability to be together in the larger Strozzi unit for meals and Christmas dinner. The units are located on a very busy street, close to every type of restaurant and shop the city offers. And, it is all just steps from Piazza della Repubblica, and a couple blocks more from there to the Duomo. The owners were attentive and accommodating - bringing us extra dining chairs for the 6 of us to share meals together in the large and well appointed kitchen in Prisco; gifting us with a Panettone at Christmas and offering many suggestions for restaurants and shopping. As we travel to Florence frequently, we found the location to be a centralized hub for walking throughout the city.

Spacious one bedroom, great location, but check to fine print.

This was a wonderful one bedroom apartment located in a perfect part of Florence. Close to everything the apartment is very spacious. Incredibly large bedroom. Comfortable living space and very nice kitchen and bathroom, the owners, Marco and Mikki are very responsive. There is a great bakery and restaurant just two doors down from the property. The only issue I have is that in addition to what you will pay for rent. You also have to pay additional electricity for the space. Which is mentioned in the fine print. So you need to read, everything about this property carefully. It wouldn’t be an issue in the winter, spring or fall. But, in the summer when air conditioning is needed you might pay between $100 and $200 extra euros for a weekly stay. Other than that, the property is exceptional.

Perfect in Florence

There are 3 things of importance in an apartment to make your holiday stay great. This place has them . Position - close to the main Railway station-10 mins walk - the Doumo and Central Florence -5-10 mins walk.All the major attractions with in walking distance.Great shops, restaurants, and pastry shops just downstairs, or around the corner. Great Apartment - very elegant and has everything, much you won't use as we ate out a lot, but all you need is there. Most important for the travellers is the presence of a LIFT !! With the proximity of the busy little streets, double glazing of the bedroom made it totally quiet, so a good sleep after a lot of walking daily was both needed, and obtained.there are 2 other apartments in this former home of one of the owners, which do not back on to the street, but we had perfect sleeps. Helpful and attentive owners- the owners met us,explained the apartment, had maps and information books , and were available for advice or help if necessary. We could not recommend this apartment and the owners more highly!

Perfect location and generously sized

We spent 2 weeks at the Prisco and had a wonderful stay. Mikki and Franco were warm hosts who made certain that we had everything we needed. The apartment is very spacious and has a fully equipped kitchen. The location is perfect walking distance to pretty much everywhere you would want to see in the city. Florence is a late night city, especially on the weekends so expect some lively noise from the street below. However, there is very little vehicle traffic. A sound proof glass door has been installed from the small patio off the bedroom and it is 100% effective. The bathroom has been updated and includes a bidet. The only minor issue is that the shower/tub might be too small for a very tall or large person. This is typical of most European baths. Lastly, the wireless internet connection was quite good. There is also a printer available. We highly recommend the Prisco to anyone planning to spend time in Florence who wants gracious, comfortable, and spacious accommodations in a perfectly situated neighborhood. We had a fabulous stay and so will you! We also highly recommend Italy Perfect. All was as described on their website and our stay was everything we could have wanted.
