Great location, but the place needs improvements
We have stayed in Desert Falls for 10 years, always with the exact layout because it works so well! Bedrooms are large and pools are right outside the back patio. This was the first time staying at this specific place, and overall, we had a great trip, but this unit was disappointing. It was significantly higher in price than we have paid and the place needs more attention given to it. One positive of the place was that the appliances are all updated. But besides that, there are some cons: The kitchen was very disorganized. Pots and pans were not cleaned properly when we arrived, cooking and eating utensils found in 4 different drawers, boxes or crackers in drawers that expired in 2022, a lack of plastic plates and cups for the patio and pool area. There also just seems to be things that have broken down and replaced, but the old things still remain: 2 blenders, 2 hair dryers, 3 irons, in which not all actually work. Lamps with no lightbulbs, a cable box literally falling out of the wall...if you have toddlers, the amount of cables and wires would be a problem! We could only find one dish cloth after quite the search, and there was nothing to scrub dishes provided. 3 mops were in the closet, but the pads did not line up with the mops or they were broken. Overall, this place met our needs, but compared to other units available in Desert Falls, it was much more expensive and less organized. It needs a thorough walk thru by the property manager or owner.
