Your family will be close to everything when you stay at this centrally-located place, only a couple of blocks from Grand Haven's popular Downtown and Beaches. This conveniently located 2 bedroom sleeps 9 comfortably. With 2 queen beds, a bunk bed, as well as a pull-out couch, makes this is a great place for several people. The kitchen is stocked with all you need to cook, it has high-speed wifi, and smart tv, w/ a Fire Pit in the back. This house is divided into two permanent units. The 2 bedroom has its own separate keyless entry downstairs.

I was a nice home; the cleaners were still there until 4:15a yellow bag filled with sheets was on the couch, I'm guessing dirty.I didn't know where the washing machine was, if in the garage there where 10 big bags of lawn waste and I wasn't walking through it.It would have helped to know the network and the password-on your chalk board. all and all 8 out of 10 we would come back.

It is disgusting. There was a dirty diaper in the yard with many bags of compost that had been there for weeks. Next to the bags was a hatchet laying on the ground. What if I had small children? The couch was stained, the bedrooms smelled like mildew and kitchen floor was black.

Grand Haven

This unit doesn’t have a washer and dryer, the listing gives instructions to put towels in the washer and start the load when leaving. Once there, no washer/dryer supplied, just different instructions to put used towels in the tub. The trash was almost full from previous renters. No hand towels in bath or kitchen. Not very comfortable living space furniture. BUT, good location, beds were comfortable, good amount of space for a family, lovely town with plenty to do and eat from. Plenty of parking at the house, located within walking distance to tons of places. Overall good stay and recommend this house and host.

Perfect stay!

Everything went smooth and efficiently. The house was spacious, extremely clean, updated, and was perfect for our family of five (and a dog). The screened-in porch was such a favorite spot of ours. My teenage daughter really enjoyed the bikes, and rode around town a couple times. The beach chairs available were also a hit, and made relaxing on the beach so much easier! Unfortunately, we never got a chance to use the fire pit, but I’m coming back in a couple weeks with my sister so I hope to use it then! The house is split into two separate apartments, upstairs and downstairs, with two separate entrances. The way it’s set up gives plenty of privacy between the two living spaces. Our upstairs neighbors during our stay were all delightful people and it was cool meeting other Grand Haven vacationers. Also, the shared driveway was not a problem at all. I would highly recommend this property when visiting Grand Haven! I can’t wait to come back in a couple weeks!

Some disappointment

The house is cute and in a great location. The problem was that the yard wasn’t fenced as described. We rented the property specifically because it was supposed to be fenced and we brought our dog. He had to spend a majority of the time indoors. Also the chairs by the fire pit were dirty or broken and thus no useable. The smoke detector was broken and it looked like there was a fresh leak on the ceiling. The host eventually called me back after I contacted Vrbo and promised some refund which I haven’t seen yet.

Very grateful

I went to Grand Haven with my children to visit with my brother. Very nice home and very grateful to be so close to him in Grand Rapids and very close, within walking distance to the beach. My children really enjoyed the stay.

Girl’s getaway

The property is beautiful and very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Great to bring our dogs and enjoyed the backyard and neighborhood for walks. The property advertised a washer and dryer but locked in a basement. The owner was very quick in getting back with us and allowing use of them. Would stay there again.

16th Birthday

The place was as advertised. The only downfall is the 10am check out. By the time you wake up in the morning you have to rush around to try and be out on time. Other than that and a pretty strong marijuana smell in one of the rooms, we had a good time.

Wonderful Getaway

The host is prompt with communicating should you need to message him. The rental was spotless and smelled clean upon arrival. The pictures capture the property nicely and it has most of the essentials you need while vacationing. I would recommend bringing your own beach towels and bike helmets if you plan on using the bikes that are available as there are not any to use.

Great Location and Spacious

We stayed in the lower unit of the house. It is newly remodeled, spacious, and nice. The location is excellent. It was clean and set up nicely. Definitely recommend.

Summer get away

Spent 5 days. Very clean! I had to work while there and internet was fast and no issues. Located on busy section of street, made it a little difficult to get out of driveway at peak times. Overall, enjoyed our stay

Just as pictured

Beautiful, clean, convenient location. Well appointed kitchen and gas grill. Great first floor location, minimum stairs, comfortable beds, nice bathroom. Enjoyed sitting on front porch and the large rear yard (not completely fenced) which my dog loved! Had one small issue, but owner was quick to respond. Will definitely stay here again!

Just alright

I don’t want to say this place doesn’t have potential. It may just have been one unusual situation. The house itself was what we needed for our family, since we were mostly outside enjoying the area. Unfortunately, when we arrived the house was still dirty. My cousin and older kids arrived first, luckily, because the instructions for entering were incorrect. They ended up walking up the back flight of stairs all the way to the second story. Which would’ve been not the easiest to deal with my tiny toddler‘s. She realized the code provided didn’t work, so went to the bottom story. Once inside, she saw it was still very dirty, even her 7 year old boy made a remark. She ended up sweeping the floors herself. The property manager arrived and apologized, telling us there were issues with the previous renters. I’m sure that is a pain to deal with at times, but we ended up vacuuming the house as well. We had toddlers in the house and they found all kinds of icky stuff in the living room under the couch and chairs. Then the previous renters’ trash was left out front for 2 1/2 days. The older kids that were excited, because in the amenities it said there were bikes to ride, but the garage was locked. I wouldn’t say it was terrible, but it definitely could’ve been a better experience.

Enjoyed our stay

Apartment was very clean and well designed. Location was good. We were able to walk to the downtown area in 10 minutes. It is on a slightly busy road. There was no issues with noise, but backing out of the driveway sometimes was challenging. Bunk bed in the large room was super noisy. Overall a great stay!

Great Grand Haven spot

Perfect spot for our family of 5. The house comes will all the amenities that you will need for your trip. Kitchen is fully stocked. Big backyard is a great addition with a fire-pit. Close to downtown (10 minute walk)
