This is a beautiful property. Our grandchildren especially loved the pool. The only complaint is that the game room upstairs got very warm and the cooling unit did not work well. An improved cooling system or fan for that room would be nice. We wish we would have had more time at this home and in Bear Lake. Thanks to our host for a wonderful stay!

The property was awesome! The pool was perfect for all ages with a good sized shallow end and fun slide at the other. That may have been the highlight, but the rooms were also great, and the kitchen/family room area was perfect for our large group. The kitchen was well-stocked, which we commented on everyday! We did not expect the huge, lush, green lawn, but enjoyed it for all kinds of activities. We didn't use the indoor basketball, volleyball, pickleball court as much as I expected, but it was also very nice, and had plenty of equipment. We had zero complaints before, during, or after. It's a great house, for sure!

Clean house, lots of room, plenty of activities to do with the gym and the pool/hottub/entertainment rooms and the pickleball court at the park right there. Kitchen had everything needed and doubles of some. Great outdoor space. Hosts were very communicative and responsive. Fun for our mid20s group reunion and fun for families with kids- great for all!

This is a clean, comfortable, spacious house with plenty of beds and a wellstocked kitchen in a nice location. However, the communication from management was very poor. We arrived at check in at 4:00 and our code to enter the house and pool didnt work. Efforts to contact management went unanswered until 4:45 to remedy the problen, then we didn't hear anything from them again until they sent instructions for check out. Very unprofessional. The pool was great but the hot tub wasn't heated when we arrived and it took several hours overnight to heat up so we couldn't use it the first day. The gym floor was in poor condition making it impossible to play pickleball or basketball. The balls didn't bounce in many dead spots and there were only 3 pickleball paddles. This was very disappointing since pickleball was a priority for our group. The price of this house is too high for having it so poorly run and maintained. This house has real promise if it were managed and maintained to actually include the amenities it boast of. Will not be back.

Lori, thank you for your feedback. I sincerely apologize again for the issue with the entry codes at check-in. Earlier that day we replaced the batteries in the smart locks, and we unfortunately didn’t realize the codes had been erased. As soon as we became aware of the issue, we restored your codes, and we’ve since updated our procedures to ensure this can’t happen again. We’re also taking your feedback regarding the pickleball equipment into consideration and have added additional paddles for future guests. We appreciate your comments and are always looking for ways to improve the guest experience.

Perfect space for family together time and enough space to spread out for some down time. We loved the pool and sports court and short walk to the lake. The owners were wonderful to work with! We loved this rental!!

Family Reunion

We loved our stay at Black Moose. The home was spacious, clean and in a great location. Plenty of room for the 40 of us. The large indoor pool was a big hit with everyone as well as the large indoor basketball/ pickleball court. The yard was very large and worked great for our outdoor activities. We could walk to all the eating out options. Plenty of parking for the eight cars.

great place and everyone is always entertained

Love this lodge the kitchen has everything you need and more. everyone is always entertained with the gym and pool. we stay there for a youth retreat and we go to beaver mountain for a ski day but it is great to come back to a very comfortable place!
