Very nice, newly renovated one bedroom apartment. It can sleep 5. The apartment has a full kitchen with all the utensils and appliances. There is a full bathroom, full living room, and full dining area. The bed and living room both have 50" TVs. FREE Wi-Fi available, etc. The couch in the living room has a queen-size pull-out bed. There is also a twin size rollaway bed.

We absolutely loved this place! It was our first time ever in Pittsburgh. The location was great and it was all we needed for a quick 2 night stay. The bed was so comfortable and warm we had to force ourself to get up. I really have nothing bad to say. It’s perfect!

Everything about this place was great, when we travel for competition and training it's nice to have something more for extended stays and this place had it. The host knows what he's doing and makes sure you're taken care of. net time we're in Pittsburgh we're going to try to stay here.

We had such a wonderful experience staying here! The home was spotless and had every little detail thought of to make our stay comfortable. The host went above and beyond to keep the place clean with fresh smelling linens, pillows and bedding. The location was perfect — close to everything we needed in downtown Pittsburgh, yet quiet and peaceful at night.Our host was fantastic - friendly and responsive. The check-in process was smooth, and everything looked exactly as described — if not better!We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and well-appointed place to stay that is still close to downtown Pittsburgh.

Nice and Cozy

We stayed two nights for a concert and we enjoyed the location. Jack delivered nothing short of what he says. The personal welcome was nice. Very clean and well represented. We would definitely stay here again

Great place in a great spot

Lovely old house in downtown Carnegie. So easy to the airport and anywhere Pittsburgh, and Carnegie is a lovely little gem of a town: bright , sincere, local and friendly. Good restaurants and coffee. Jack's place is clean, well appointed, and warm.

Great place, great town

Jack did a great job giving us a lovely, well appointed place, easy to get to good parking, and ideally situated to everything Pittsburgh. A shout out to Jack for the place, and a shout out to Carnegie: a hidden treasure of a town: great downtown an easy ten minute walk from the place.

Great host and 100% accurate

Jack was accommodating and a good communicator, and I loved the little touches around the house to make the stay more comfortable. The listing and photos are totally what you get, plus I asked a bunch of specific questions before booking that he answered mquickly and honestly. Our family reunion was down the street and the place was great!

Visited Daughter in Carnegie for the weekend.

Jack is a welcoming and a thoughtful host. The apartment has everything you need plus more….I would highly recommend anyone’s stay at his property. It is so conveniently located to downtown and coffee shops, restaurants and shops are all located within short walking distances.

Weekend Visit to Pitt

We booked this property for a weekend trip to see my daughter at Pitt. Let me start by saying this was our first time booking a VRBO, but Jack made it super easy. We weren't sure what to expect, and now we may have a ridiculously high expectation going forward. This property was absolutely amazing! Close enough to Pitt, but far away from the hustle and bustle of downtown. We didn't spend a lot of time in the property, but Jack made sure that anything we could have needed was taken care of. Clean, cozy, and just plain awesome. The pictures don't really do this property justice. It is very roomy and incredibly comfortable. If you are on the fence, let me tell you I travel a lot for work, and this far exceeded my expectations. Not only would I recommend Jack's property to anyone, but we will be staying there again!

Weekend in Pittsburg

Just stayed a weekend with Jack for a sports game. The house was very clean, bed was super soft, and all of the amenities were well kept. He provided soaps, towels, extra sheets and blankets, and everything we may have needed. The location was just a short drive to downtown and the check in process was very simple. He was very responsive to any questions that I had. Would definitely stay here again in the future!

Weekend visit

We came into town for a sporting event and spent a weekend. Jack’s property was close enough to downtown, clean, and very reasonably priced. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, kitchen with needed supplies, and short distance to places we needed to go. We would stay here again if visiting the area again.

Had a great stay

Stayed here with a group of four and had a great time. Walking distance to the small downtown with a mini mart, diner, and coffee shops. Was a short Uber into downtown. And the place was very clean with nice amenities such as soap, lotions, towels, and hair dryers and such.

I have owned this property for well over 20 years. I use to rent the top and bottom apartment. I can't remember exactly how, but at some point, I became a resident of the top apartment. As long as i can remember, the bottom apartment was rented to this nice lady. Well, when she decided to move out, I was nervous about who I would rent to next. My niece produced the brilliant idea for me to turn the bottom apartment into Airbnb. That way, I can still enjoy the extra money I was use to, at the same time, whoever booked a stay would only be temporary. So, I decided to make the place as comfortable as possible so whoever stayed would feel at home.
