Welcome to Good Tidings 2U at Cabana Suites! This oceanfront property offers a cozy deck with two chairs for enjoying seaside views. Inside, the kitchen and dining area is equipped with essentials, including a table for four, a refrigerator, flat cooktop stove, microwave, drip coffeemaker, toaster, dishwasher, and more, making it ideal for preparing meals. The living room features access to the deck, a flat-screen TV, a queen sleeper sofa, and a selection of books and puzzles for relaxation.

The property includes a laundry area with a top-loading washer and front-loading dryer for convenience. The master bedroom features a queen bed, flat-screen TV, and access to a shared bathroom with a shower. A second bedroom, with a street view, is equipped with two twin beds, a flat-screen TV, and a private bathroom with a tub and shower combination, ensuring comfortable accommodations for guests.

Cabana Suites is a great complex in a spectacular location. Amenities include two covered parking spots, a shared outdoor swimming pool, and an elevator. The complex is within walking distance to the marina, restaurants, coffee, ice cream, donuts, shopping, the summer amusement park, fishing, ATM/bank, paddleboats, bike rentals and much more.

****PLEASE NOTE: Parking is very limited in Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Guests are only allotted two parking spaces, and Parking Passes are required. Carolina Beach Realty (CBR) will not be held responsible for guests with more than two vehicles or for vehicles that are towed due to negligence in using parking passes. The HOA requires large trucks, repair trucks, and extended cabs to park in the open lots and NOT under the building.

**The HOA prohibits towels from being hung on the balcony rails. Trash and bags are not to be left in the hallway.

Great location

This unit needs some love. Sofa and rug are very dirty and need replacing. Best location for convenience. Living area is amble for two adults at best. The community is nice and well kept.

Great location.

Overall, it is a great location and everything was great, except I wish the living room had a loveseat for family relaxing, a table on the balcony for coffee in order to enjoy the perfect view, the master bedroom shower was a little bigger.

Location, Location, Location with a great view!

The location was great. Next to a lot of restaurants and entertainment without being really noisy in the evening. The view was perfect! We love sitting out on the balcony looking at the water and watching people walking below on the boardwalk. The unit was accurate with being small but with 4 adults it was just fine. We would definitely stay at this unit again.

Great little place

Overall the property was good, family of 5 so it was a bit small for us but worked for a short stay. Master bedroom is a tight fit but we made it work. You cannot beat the location which is why we selected this condo. Great beach access & in between life guard stands. Being able to walk out and see the fireworks was great & we felt safe letting our teens do the boardwalk alone since they didn’t need to cross streets or parking lots to get there and back. Literally walking distance to Britt’s & you can’t beat afternoon donuts on the beach.

Little disappointed.

Disappointed with the lack of instructions to enter the property. The a/c worked great at the rear of the unit, but was at least 10 degrees warmer in the living and kitchen area. Furnishings were definitely seen better days. And the only rugs in the unit were in one bathroom and the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised at how close to the Boardwalk it was, and was not disturbed by it. Enjoyed our stay, but probably won't be staying there again.

Mixed reviews

Our overall stay was good, not great but also no bad. Would I book again? Maybe not. Pros: location of condo is great, easy beach access, cleanliness was good, beach front view. Cons: refrigerator was old and did not keep any of our groceries cold, not to mention both freezer and fridge spelled horribly bad like squid. The Couch was so stained and disgusting that we refused to sit on it without putting a bed sheet cover over it. My review of the actual rental agency- I would never rent through them again on any property. They would not allow us to park on the property early while my family goes to the beach and wait for our 4pm check in. Then they sent me a message saying our condo was ready for early check at 1pm but at a cost of $150 for early check in fee. I felt like they offered me that ridiculous early check in bullcrap because they knew we were already there and at the beach waiting for our check in.

Unfortuantely, this condo complex is very strict on parking as we need the two parking passes available for our home for cleaners and inspectors to get the home ready for guests. We are sorry you are not satisfied with our policy for early check-in. Early check-in is never guaranteed on turnaround days and we have a duty to our owners to ensure they are compensated for use of their home. We hate to hear your experience working with us was not a good one and we hope to make this up to you on a future stay.

Nice room/loud chaos

We had a very nice clean room. The decor was very simple and not over the top. The first thing we noticed was that the sliding glass door to the balcony was very hard to open and shut. It was a workout anytime you wanted to go in or out. The remote for the tv would not control the volume and was a little on the loud side. While there the fire alarm went off on numerous days. The problem with that is that while you are in the hotel room, you cannot hear the alarm go off. While packing the car on our last day I saw the fire alarm was going off yet again. Some immature idiot started yelling fire to which I ran to the third floor to grab my son and grandmother. We evacuated the building to find that there was no fire to be found. When the fire alarm goes off it kicks off the elevator which my grandmother needed to get back to the third floor. The alarm went off three times the last night of our stay. I guess the fire department was also sick of the alarm going off and took nearly 20 minutes to show up to finally make the alarm stop. It was absolutely ridiculous because the firemen who had to keep showing up for false alarms could have been needed elsewhere. The alarms finally stopped going off about 3:30 the morning that we were supposed to leave. I left a survey with Carolina Beach Realty to which I never heard a word from. We could not even enjoy our last evening of vacation because my son was terrified to go to sleep incase there was a real fire and not hearing the alarm.

Unfortunately, we do not manage the building and it is managed by an HOA so we would not have any control over this. We will notify the owner that you cannot hear the alarm inside the condo. Great location, ok unit

The location and privacy of the unit is great. Right on the boardwalk. Right on the beach. Place is fairly quiet. Plenty of room to play on the beach and in the pool. Balcony view is awesome. The two bedrooms and two baths are adequate. Not a lot of storage, we basically lived out of our suitcases. Bathrooms have been redone with a refitter, looks nice Beds are comfortable. A/C blows cold, but a little loud. The cleaning crew is bad. Found bacon, candy, and nuts under the couch and coffee table. Floor tile was laid very uneven. Most of the furniture wobbles sure to uneven tile There is a water leak above the fridge. Had to use a cookie sheet to collect the water. Has to have been there for some time as you cannot close the refrigerator door without pushing it hard as the drywall is swelled up due to the moisture. The light in the refrigerator is broken. Racks in the freezer are rusted. Laundry unit works great and is convenient. Be nice if it had a dishwasher. There is room for one. Hard to wash dishes in a small single basin sink. Plus, some of the dishes weren't washed from previous tenant. Keurig would be nice at this price point (we brought our own). There is black mold from the leak outside on the balcony overhang. Also, the lighting is confusing. Takes awhile to figure out what switches do what, didn't figure them all out Realty company was difficult to contact in off hours. They were going to send someone to look at leak, no one ever showed. They have conflicting information between texts, emails, and web based guest portal. Portal is a great idea, but it needs to include all the information, or just get rid of it. We would stay in the same area again, even the same building, but not this unit. It could be great, but issues need addressed.
