A Sunny Sandbar | Gorgeous Views, Steps to Beach

Welcome to Sunny Sandbar, a gorgeous retreat. This home has large sliding glass doors and picture windows bring fantastic views into the living and dining area. The vaulted ceiling, natural lighting, and open living space make this house open, airy, and comfortable for socializing. This home also features central air and heat, high-speed wireless internet, washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, and a plethora of small appliances including a blender, a toaster oven, waffle iron, and George Foreman grill.

The massive deck is partially covered so that you can enjoy the view and the outdoors in any weather. The beach is just a few steps away (approximately 20 yards) making this a family-friendly vacation home.

The Primary bathroom offers a king-sized bed, is wheelchair-friendly, with a wide pocket door entry, a step-in shower and grab bars. The second bedroom has twin bunk beds, plus a queen. The third bedroom has a queen.

Outside amenities include a cabana shower and a ground floor deck with a large beach view bench.
Sea Isle is a family-friendly neighborhood, located on Galveston’s West End, that is highly sought after by families who love to swim, fish and cruise the island in golf carts. Sea Isle offers a public beach, seasonal community pool, bait shop, playground, tennis courts, a convenience store, restaurant and a bar.

Please Note: The Sea Isle Pool is open from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Guests must call Sea Isle HOA at 409-737-2438 to obtain pool passes. The pool passes are 10 for $100. They are open Monday thru Friday 8am to 5pm.

Family Vacation

This was a family get away with our 4 kids (3 adults and one teen) so there were 6 of us total. Plenty of room for all of us. Very clean and even more spacious in person. Two nice surprises that the pictures didn't show were 1- the newly renovated bathrooms (really nice) and 2- a lot more seating on the deck than pictured (counter height chairs for unobstructed views of the water : )) Beds were really comfortable, esp the king size bed in the master. Like the other reviews mention, it really is a super short walk to the beach. We loved the deck! Nice breeze and great views of the water. Enjoyed morning coffee watching the beautiful sunrises and finished each night with some really gorgeous sunsets. Check in and check out was easy. Everyone in our family loved and want to book here again : )

County, city or someone needs to spray for the massive amount of mesquites or sand fleas. We were eaten alive by both our entire trip.

Grandsons Trip

We brought two of our teenage grandsons and two nephew's on a mini beach vacation. The house was very comfortable for us and there was plenty of rooms for the boys to sleep in. My husband and I found the master room very comfortable also, the bed was wonderful to sleep in. The beach was just a short walk from the house so that was not a problem. We enjoyed the location because it far away from the crowded beaches closer to Jamacia and Stewart Beach. We will definitely be back soon.

Fine until it wasn’t

Had the house for a three night stay. At 3:00am the second night (Saturday/Sunday am)…the air conditioner went out. The house was unbearable-we ended up leaving early on Sunday. I emailed and messaged the host…they did nothing…I tried to get in touch with them yesterday and have not heard back. I am requesting a refund (and am prepared to seek legal counsel) as this is a breach of contract on their part. I think they knew the a/c had problems…it was set at 75 (absolutely no way to change the temp…and with over 100 degree heat…that’s hot). Each room had small fans in them. Yesterday was miserable. I would really appreciate hearing from someone about this….and more importantly what they plan to do with pretty much ruining the trip for us, Susan

Great West End Getaway!

Property was clean and recently renovated. Well stocked kitchen, great location. Beds were comfortable. Grill is rusted and not usuable, toilet in master needs to be leveled and caulked; otherwise great property.

Great location

Great house and just a few steps from the beach. Lots of space in living room and had a great balcony space with part covered from the sun. Only negative was a bad ant problem in hall bathroom and kitchen/dining room so we weren’t able to eat the cupcakes or bread/snacks we brought. There are a few places on the outside deck where it needs replacement (both of my adult kids got splinters). Overall it was a great weekend and we would come back. Thanks for the fun.

Summer by the beach

Great time with family. Able to enjoy the sounds of the waves at any time of the day. The house was cozy and perfect to spend time with our kids and my sister . Great experience for it being our first vacation since we lost my mom.

Great Home Nice view

This is a fantastic place to stay. It is a lovely, second row home, that feels like a first! The view is lovely, and the house is nicely appointed. Great experience, and I would book again.

Amazing Getaway at Sunny Sandbar

Ryson vacation rentals customer service was absolutely fantastic! Our rental house was exactly what was advertised. Clean and well stocked with just about everything you need, all you have to bring is food/beverages. We will for sure be renting that exact same house again and from now on! No more tiny condos or hotel rooms for us!

Good Times in Sea Isle

We’ve rented about 6 of the houses over the last year on this stretch in Sea Isle. This house is definitely one of my favorites. Great for our family (two small children). One word of advice- if you are sitting on the loveseat in the spot closest to the kitchen, move your feet before you recline. It comes out like a switchblade, and you could lose your toes on the edge of the coffee table if your not careful. Not a big deal, just be ready for it!

Wonderful location

The house was great. Location was beautiful. Great views from the deck. Easy walk to the beach. House was very clean. Had plenty of linens for our whole party. Rental procedures were easy and staff answered all my quests promptly. We had a great time and would definitely rent here again.

Good location/ Poor everything else

The only positive thing about this house is the location. If you have small kids, it’s nice b/c you can easily walk back and forth to the beach. Other then that our experience was not good. The house had ants ALL over it. The deck furniture had rusty nails sticking out of it, arms missing and broken from chairs, the bathroom tub had a huge crack in it, and the return vent in the hall way has SO much lent coming out of it , it looked like the filter had never been changed . We also had no cable Tv the entire week. The satellite dish was laying in the grass when we arrived, nobody was able to come out the entire week to fix it. All around disappointing stay for the price we paid .

Nice house

We had a good stay this week. The house is quite comfortable. Internet is not fantastic but it works in a few spots of the house. There were coffee grounds left in the coffee pot and we did find a cracker under the coffee table. The chairs on the porch have some broken boards, nothing too big of a deal but for the price you would expect better. Also, the pool that is advertised is an extra one hundred dollars. The ad on Vrbo did not say it would be an additional cost. Location to the beach is great. Overall, we had a great trip but I am not 100% committed to rebooking.

Great house for families!

We had a wonderful time. Updated house with plenty of space and fabulous location. Only issue was that email messages prior to the trip went unanswered but when I called and spoke with someone, she was extremely helpful.

Fantastic rental

We were very pleased with the rental property. It looks like it had recently been rahab'd (inside & out). Very nice decorations and very comfortable beds. Even though the beach house is on the second row from the beach we had very nice views of the ocean. The rental has a very large deck on the 2nd floor with 2 access doors to the living room. Part of the deck is covered (in case of bad weather), so you can still enjoy it. Overall, I would definitely recommend this beach house for rental!

Perfect!

The location and the house were great! The outdoor shower was wonderful with little kiddos, to avoid having sand all over the place. Also, the proximity to the beach made it easy to come back and forth to the house with our 3 year old as often as we needed to. We will be back!
