Awaken to a lovely view of the water in the lofted sleeping space of this upstairs studio, perfect for a quiet getaway. Head downstairs to your main living space for breakfast – there’s a full kitchen (no dishwasher) and that same lovely view to enjoy as you eat. Or, if it’s nice outside, head to the picnic table and dine alfresco. Spend the day hiking or biking nearby, or head to Acadia National Park, 30 miles away. When you return to your cozy studio in the evening, amazing sunsets await, and a comfortable couch and flatscreen TV are at the ready for your entertainment needs. Head up to bed, with the nighttime stars replacing the sunrise for your view.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Peaceful week in the water

The house is so close to the water we could hear the water hit the shore at high tide. Low tide opened the beach for walks. Perfectly peaceful week and it was a two minute walk to the lobster shack.

Cute cottage

Cute cottage along the water with great views. Private area to eat or watch the boats go by or catch a seal playing. Lobster shack next door for easy dining. This cottage would be a great getaway for two. The steps up to the bed are steep but worth the sunrise views. Well stocked with pots and pans to make meals.

Great cottage in a great location!!

What a fantastic cottage and location!! Exactly as pictured and described. Very clean with plenty of towels, amenities, and supplies. The view is amazing and the proximity to Perry’s lobster shack (byob) is wonderful. Really enjoyed the stay. The communication from the Vacasa team before, during, and after the stay was amazing.

Lovely little cottage with great views

Enjoyed our stay at the small but super-organized cottage right on the water. Loved the views. Stairs were a bit small and tight for my tall husband, but we managed fine.

Amazing little cottage!

This cottage is perfect for 2 people. It was clean and has a functional layout. It is so peaceful and serene. Being right on the water can't be beat and watching the sun rise over the bay while laying in bed is a next level experience.

Anniversary Trip

Perfect little cottage. Peaceful and quiet. Right on the water. The cottage was stocked with everything we needed during our stay. We visited Acadia and Bar Harbor as well. Just a short drive away.

What a view!

The property was the perfect size for 2 of us. We searched for treasure on the shoreline, had a campfire overlooking the bay, and enjoyed the quiet and privacy. It was lovely.

Perfect!

This little cottage was exactly as described, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The location was great, and not too far from acadia, and bar harbor. The sunrise in the morning from the loft bed was beautiful. Definitely reccomend this place to anyone looking to visit Maine. It was so clean and they provided all the essentials you could need as well.

Cozy getaway for 2

We stayed here for our honeymoon and could not be happier! Waking up to a view of the water was magical. The house was cozy, perfect for two people, with all the amenities for dinner at home (although we definitely took advantage of Perry’s Lobster Shack next door). Acadia National Park was roughly a 50 minute drive, and after a day of hiking and swimming it was lovely to retreat back to our tiny home. Could not recommend this place more!

Acadia Vacation

The cottage was just as adveritsed and clean. It has a beautiful view being right on a beach and the neighborhood is nice with a restaurant and public beach are within walking distance. 40 minute drive onto Mt. Desert Island was worth it because of the cottage. This was the coolest place my fiance and I have stayed together. Would recommend to anyone thinking of going to Coastal Maine.

Perfect Honeymoon Retreat

This little place is a gem! Great home base for exploring all of the nearby towns, Acadia and Bar Harbor! We loved the peaceful views and quiet area as well as shopping and food in nearby Blue Hill. Don’t skip Perry’s, right next door! Highly recommended the bridge observatory and Fort Knox tour in Bucksport as well as Lulu’s Lobster boat out of Bar Harbor (say hi to Galen for us!) The cottage is comfy and well appointed though the loft would be tricky for anyone with mobility issues. We only took off a star because photos show a fire pit and there was none, we had looked forward to a campfire by the beach and also the screen door is unusable as it does not stay on the track and there were many mentions of it in the guest book. All in all, lovely place and we made many wonderful memories! Would love to come back!

Studio in Surry

What a gem! The cleanliness, degree of organization and consideration for guests’ comfort and enjoyment is exceptional. The location can’t be beat both with regard to the proximity to the water and the general area. We were initially concerned about the stairway to the loft, but we easily navigated it despite being 70 and having knee and hip issues. We hope to be able to return next year!

Cute, quaint, and peaceful!

The location can't be beat. House is perfectly located steps from the water on a peaceful bay, and positioned perfectly for amazing sunrises. My only complaint would be it could use a little updating, and the stairs are tiny and tricky to maneuver.

Perfect and peaceful

The Dream Harbor rental was just as advertised. It's close to the water where we enjoyed wine and snacks after a day of adventure. Plus, the sunrise was gorgeous! The home was stocked with everything we needed and Vacasa provided great communication throughout the process.

Dream harbor cottage

What a great location. Waking up to the sunrise over the bay was amazing. The house had everything a couple could need. The hose was clean and well laid out. The outdoor spaces were great for enjoying the bay view.
