Wonderful place!

Everything was great! The house is stocked very well with any and everything you may need. Very clean and host is very helpful and friendly. Definitely worth every penny!

Quaint cottage

First, I want to say that the host, Anne, was very prompt in responding to the issues we had and was very professional. The home is quiet and in a great location, about 15minutes from Pigeon Forge and 20minutes from Gatlinburg. There is a little food truck park in Wears Valley that we enjoyed and had a playground for the kiddos. The porch swing was nice for morning coffee and rocking our babies. The property could be a fun place to explore, but the bugs at this time of year were terrible, even with bug spray. We did not use the paddle boat as it was on the bank and full of water. The house has been somewhat updated, but needs some attention in the areas of upkeep and cleaning. We did appreciate Anne sending a cleaner out promptly the night of our arrival. Hopefully, the cleaning service is greatly improved in the future as this significantly impacted the way we ended up spending time during our stay, mostly away from the house. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of utensils, pots and pans, appliances, K-cup pods, seasonings (salt, pepper, etc.), Ziploc bags and trash bags. We appreciated the ample supply of toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher tabs, and dish soap. Beds were comfortable and clean. Towels were decent and not paper thin as some prior rentals. No cell service here, but there is a landline. Wifi is available and worked well overall when needed. We had higher expectations for this stay, but unfortunately, probably would not stay here again in the future.

Nice and cozy

We loved the property with lots of room to roam around. The house was very baby proof as we have a one year old. They provided a pack and play that made one less thing we had to pack. The washed and dryer were convient with a little one as well. I loved the sunken claw foot tub.

Heaven!

This cottage was the perfect vacation spot for our family of 4 plus our doggo. It's location is fantastic; not too far into the mountains, but far enough that you feel like you're away from the hubbub. Everyone had the best time! As long as this place is available in the future, we will be renting it summer after summer.

Great weekend

Super fun weekend trip. Location was great, not too far from town but far enough that you didn’t have to worry about neighbors. The teens loved all the land to play wiffle ball and fished everyday we were there. Caught many fish and tried to get the big boy in the pond but had no luck. Cabin was stocked with everything you would need to cook a meal if you didn’t feel like going to town. Lots of towels and tp which you don’t see that often in a rental. We will definitely remember this spot and will be back.

Perfect little house

Loved how secluded the property was. House is updated and in very good shape for the age. We purchased the 3 day Dollywood pass but the kids enjoyed the creek and pond so much they wanted to just say at the house on day 2. Hope to come back and stay again.

Cozy Cottage

Secluded quaint cottage in the mountains. Relaxing and peaceful with the amenities needed in the house; cable and WiFi. The outside is wonderful with the babbling creeks and the little bridge that leads to a pond full a fish. Caught a catch of brim and grilled them up for dinner. Dogs had no problem accessing the yard and walking and running around to get their biases taken care of. I was pleased how equipped the kitchen was, and the temperature of tge house was easily regulated. Beds slept well. Check in was easy as well as check out. The cottage is close enough to Pigeon Forge for all your shows and activities. Would recommend.

Lovely Cottage In The Mountains

This is the cutest place we have ever stayed! It is just perfect. The cottage is clean, decorated and furnished so well, and the kitchen has everything you would need. We loved fishing in the pond, playing in the creek, swinging on the swing, making flower wreaths and walking walking around the property. There were outdoor lights for a little patio area in the front and with the fireflies, it was magical. We had a lot planned around Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (which was so close) and all agreed we wished we had booked a few extra days because it was so pleasant hanging out at the cottage so we wish we had more time to do that.

Best staycation we have ever had!

This property was amazing from the time we arrived until we left. It’s very private with no neighbors. Our dogs were able to enjoy the property. The house sits between 2 creeks that come together. Also a good size pond with a paddle boat. My 2 sons couldn’t stay out of the water the entire time we were there!! The house is decorated in a way that makes you feel right at home. Very rustic farmhouse. As a wheelchair user, Anne was great to help me get a few questions answered before the trip. I have already recommended the cottage to my friends and look forward to another trip there in the summer!

Great place for fur baby’s

It’s is a cute house far enough away from everything but close enough to everything. It was perfect for my family and my fur baby’s. Plenty of room for them to run and play. I thought the one bathroom was going to be a problem but it wasn’t. The home owner was quick to answer any questions we had. Overall it is a beautiful house in a great location.

Appalachian Paradise

My adult son and I really enjoyed are stay at this cottage. The cottage is well appointed and has everything you might need for cooking. The cottage sits on 14 acres surrounded by mountains and forest. Peaceful surroundings. Also, the cottage is a nice place to come back to after spending the day in the Smokie Mountains. Can’t wait to stay again sometime.

Beautiful!

What a great place! This is a beautiful piece of property! I loved having my coffee on the couch watching the view out of the front window, so pretty and peaceful. There is a sweet little church at the end of the driveway and to have that in the view as the sun was coming up with the pond and the trees (still had some color on them) it was just beautiful! I love when we stay at a place and you can tell it is enjoyed by all who enter! Would recommend and would stay again, thank you!

Very Private

Place was immaculate, decor was beautiful and if you want solitude this is the place for that. For future renters I’m 5’2” and I could touch the ceilings so if you have anyone over 5’10” they’ll be ducking a lot. No cell service here which was a problem, but land line was provided.

Perfect Family Getaway with Family and Pups

This cottage was the perfect getaway for our family and pups. Our trip included myself, my husband, our 2 year old son, 5 year old son, and our two dogs. We had a great time hiking the property. The boys had a blast fishing in the pond, and both caught their first fish ever! We enjoyed playing games each night. The location was great as we were close to stores, attractions, and restaurants yet far away enough to have privacy and quiet. We played Putt Putt Golf one night and drove through Cade’s Cove the next day. Before our stay I messaged the owner a few questions and she got back with me super fast. We had no issues throughout our stay. Thanks for having us and we can’t wait to come back!! It was so fun to bring our pups on vacation with us!

Farm house in the mountains

Property was what we expected. Tucked away between hills in a valley. Plenty of room for our frenchies to run and explore. Very relaxing and away from everything but one a short drive to anything you might need or want. Enjoyed are 3 night stay and would recommend it for people with pets.

The property was perfect for us. We had an issue when we arrived but the owners were amazing and took care of everything immediately. The place is beautiful and was just right for our dogs as well.

Family rest and relaxation cottage

This mountain cottage was exceptional. The decor was fabulous and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The extras were appreciated. We fished in the pond. Rode the paddle boat and sit and enjoyed the babbling brook! The smokies never disappoint. We hope to stay here again!

Great property very quiet and dog friendly

my husband and I stayed for a week and loved it. We brought our two dogs down and they also loved running around the property. It’s location is close to everything yet far enough off the beaten path that it is absolutely peaceful and quiet. The property itself is beautiful with a pond and very pretty surroundings. I would highly recommend staying here. Everything was excellent!

Lovely house and large yard

Myself, husband, 14 year old and very active do visited in March. What a fabulous property. Perfect for us and our active dog. House had everything we needed. Property manager was extremely quick to respond. It was the first time for us in the mountains and it was awesome.

This is my family's happy place. The cottage is like a fairytale cottage, surrounded by babbling creeks, songbirds and a ton of land or just unwind and unplug.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Wide open space, seclusion, and wildlife. Many of the cabins in the area have very little space to just be outside, this cottage has 14 acres to explore and play. If you want your kids to spend time out doors, this is the place for you! You may have a hard time getting them inside. Dinner bell on front will help you call them in!
