Beautiful, clean, and cozy cabin located on 90 acres of bow hunting land. We also have a small pond located down the road from the property on our land that can be used if you message or call the owner for location. Great for hunting or getaways! Great for a vacation with family or friends or a place to stay while in town! Bow hunting can be arranged at an extra charge. Please message for details on hunting and hunting prices or visit our face book page at Griffis Game Hunting and Getaway. Conveniently close to high school and elementary and next to a country road. (Road can be somewhat busy at times) Fire pit and grill area., Log furniture, new stainless steel appliances, washer and dryer, linens/bedding, dishes, Satellite TV, cooking pans, keypad entry, towels/washcloths, and toiletries provided. No wifi is provided. Enjoy our special places located in the area such as hiking, fishing, boating, kayaking, hunting, bird-watching, quilt barns, Amish country, historical places, unique restaurants. A guide will be provided with your stay. Owner lives on property to help with anything you may need during your stay. Enjoy a clean cozy, beautiful stay with us!

This was my first time using this site and everything was smooth, the cabin was adorable, loved the little details. They had a little book that previous guests had signed. It was clean and small, the host waved at us when we were out side and they had passed by, location was perfect for our family reunions in the area, drive was had a bit of a hump to get on the road. This was a good spot for our busy weekend.

Such a cute place!! We didn’t stay at the house enough to enjoy all of the amenities, but the cabin was very clean and cozy. The beds are really comfortable. The host was great too!

The cabin is very nice and well thought out - impressive craftsmanship. It is closer to the road than we expected, although this didn’t bother us. There was no WiFi and cell signals were spotty, which was a little inconvenient. The cabin is small for four people needing four beds. It’s a good fit for two couples or a small family looking for a cozy getaway. We experienced a couple issues with AC and TV during our stay and the host was responsive and did their best to ensure the issues were addressed promptly. We chose to checkout a day early due to the issues we experienced and were disappointed that the host would not refund one night due to the amenities challenges.

Great place to stay, enjoyed the drive there as far a scenery and the place was very cozy. Great little place to stay and get away. Highly recommend staying again and telling others.

Hunting trip

Was amazing all the way around. The cabin was extremely nice and even better then displayed online. The land was even better then could’ve imagined as well. Will definitely be back!

Nice Property

The cabin was very nice and had everything we needed for a family of 5. The owner was very responsive to questions and recommendations. The only downside was the proximity to the road where cars drive by fast and are loud at night. Overall, a very nice place to stay for a family getaway.

I apologize for the speed of cars. I have contacted state patrol and county engineer to try to get something done about it. Some people complain about it and some say it’s very peaceful. I am doing my best to get some signs to post and hoping it will help. Thanks for your stay!

house was so cute and so private

house was great bed was comfortable only thing was planned on fishing as the listing mentions somewhere to fish but unable to locate on the property! otherwise was a wonderful stay and will go back!!

Loved the stay!

Me and my husband stayed for the week and hunted. We saw some nice bucks, and I was able to harvest a buck off the property. It will probably go down as one of the most unbelievable hunts I’ve ever had! The cabin was super cute and clean. The owners were very nice and helpful!

Great get away

Great cabin. We took the kids for the weekend. Everyone had a great time. No traffic noise at all. We had a great fire, and made s’mores. Beds very comfortable. Cabin has everything you would need for the weekend. Hosts are amazing! Will be back! Thank you guys ❤️ Bowen Clan

Geographically it's a great location! Many attractions in the surrounding areas. Upon arrival, it was immaculate. I think the owners covered every possible scenario,if you forgot something like I did with shampoo. Really appreciate the fact that they had some there. The land is great for outdoor enthusiasts! However the home is located really close to the road, it is a country road, close to a school so it is very busy.. the beds are soft and the home is inviting. Now if you're a small person, you probably don't make any noise when you roll over it in the master bedroom. Not the case for us, the bottom bunk bed does not fit the entire framework but there's a little bit of a gap but that mattress,we slept well. Would we recommend this place? Definitely!

The Cabin was amazingly clean and well set up. But the discrpton of the area itself needs improved

The Cabin itself was clean and well put together. Everything we needed was there as far as cooking, and toliettries. What we didn't know was the location of the cabin was on a busy country road where cars and trucks were constantly speeding by. There is also a school close by. Sitting on the front porch or just at the fire pit was not enjoyable as we thought we were leaving home to get away from stress. The master bed was not comfortable and made noise everytime we moved.

This is the first complaint we have had about location or bed. I’ve actually had people say the bed was quite comfortable when I asked but will be addressing that and checking the bed to see if I can solve that issue. Behind the location is 90 acres of peaceful hunting land. I will be trying to see if I can put up some sort of slow sign to try to slow traffic down. It was also the first week of school which probably enhanced the traffic. I know that I had already put in the description it is conveniently close to the school and I will add a picture now showing that it is close to a country road. I am sorry for any inconvenience. Thank you for your stay.

There are some trails on our property for hiking, walking, or riding that you are welcome to and a small fishing pond. We enjoy allowing people to enjoy a weekend and hope you will decide to stay with us.
