We had a wonderful time! The property is perfect for hosting large groups while staying very comfortable. The management team was easy to communicate with and made the whole process a breeze. I would stay here again!

Great location for large group!

My group and I really enjoyed our stay. This property is great for a large group looking to stay close to downtown Austin. The pool and backyard were great to hang out during the hot days. Host was very responsive and accommodating during our stay.

Great house, great location

I threw my brothers bachelor party here and we had the best time. The owner was a ton of help, the house was better in person than in the pictures, and the location was unbeatable. I would definitely stay here again!

Incredible spot

House appeared as advertised, everything was clean and the pool was great. The hose was very responsive and couldn't have been nicer. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect home base to explore ATX

This house is perfect for large groups. It’s super close to downtown, in a great safe area, and has the best backyard pool. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and made the trip a breeze. Can’t wait to stay again.

Excellent Spot

Hosted my brother’s bachelor party here earlier this year. The house was excellent and perfect for our large group. Great location - easy Lyft ride to downtown Austin. Highly recommend.

Great Rental For A Group

The house was great for a bachelorette weekend. Kitchen was well stocked and the house was clean. Location is perfect - about 10 mins from everywhere we wanted to go. Backyard was slightly less maintained than the photos but the pool was great.

This place is amazing!

The location and neighborhood was amazing! The house was perfectly sized for our group and all the amenities in the house were perfect. The distance from downtown was perfect.I would stay here again and again. Communication was perfect and so helpful throughout the stay. I would recommend this home to anyone looking to stay in Austin.

Hip Haven was perfect for family & friends stay in Austin

We had a group of 12 family & friends in Austin to watch the Formula One race and Hip Haven was the perfect accommodations! Communication with Annette was quickly responsive getting to the house and check in was easy, and the location was great for seeing Austin, getting to the airport and the racetrack and picking up UT friend. The house was PERFECT for hanging out (inside & out), cooking, playing games, watching football and chatting by the firepit. would FOR sure stay here again next time we're in Austin! highly recommend!

Family wedding event.

Great place to stay and very comfortable for a large group. Clean and good location. Only issues were that sometimes it took awhile to get an answer from the property manager and the description of the property was different in different parts of the listing (one place it said 4 bedrooms and one place it said 5 beddings, one place 2 bathrooms and one place 3). Fortunately, it was 5 bedrooms and 3 baths.

Comfort and Convenience

Heated pool made us forget that it was 55 degrees outside. The house was clean and fully stocked with supplies, including two washers and dryers, full set of dishes, basic seasonings, paper products, coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, etc. All we needed to bring was the food, but the location was in the center of everything. Less than 5 minutes away in any direction were grocery stores, restaurants, Target, not to mention delivery.

Great stay for a group!

Hosted a wonderful tame bachelorette party and this was the perfect place to have it. Layout of the rooms, bathrooms, big open gathering space, and awesome pool area made it a great place to host. Great set up for a group (extra fridge, two sets of laundry machines, lots of kitchen supplies, etc) - everything you need for a great stay. We were able to book fairly short Ubers very quickly to get everywhere we wanted to go (not much you’d walk to from there). Timely and friendly communication with the host. Would absolutely recommend! One thing to note is there is no door that closes to break sound between the downstairs bunk room and the main floor, so the folks sleeping down there will hear when other guests are up and chatting in the communal spaces on the main level.

Wonderful Weekend

The Hip Haven was a PERFECT house for me and my group. I was here on my bachelor party weekend and had a group of 15 guys. This house made our weekend so fun and enjoyable. It was spacious and super clean. Everyone had a bed or somewhere comfortable to sleep. The pool was perfect to cool off in and the yard gave us enough room to play games. The pictures are accurate for how nice this place is, but the house felt even more spacious than what the pictures showed, which was a pleasant little surprise upon arrival. The house even had every little detail accounted for, like clean pool towels, pool noodles and floaties, spare phone chargers, and Bluetooth speakers in case you forget one. The host was super responsive to all of my messages and very polite. If you have a larger group and are looking for a fun house to stay at in Austin I couldn't recommend this house enough!

Best Group House I've Ever Stayed At!

This house is absolutely stunning - exactly as shown in the photos, maybe even better! There were 15 of us and plenty of space. The pool and backyard were a huge hit - lots of pool floats and backyard games provided. There's also a fun pong table in the garage. Plenty of towels, toiletries, hair dryers, bathing products, etc. were also provided, and there's fans in every room which is a plus with the Austin heat. The hosts were super quick to answer any questions we had before and during the trip, and were great communicating the check in and check out instructions. We even got early check-in the day of which was a huge help for folks who traveled into town early. Great location and within 10 mins of downtown, east Austin, south congress, etc. HEB is also 5 mins away! I would recommend this house 10x over and hope to stay here again in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

4th of July Weekend

After waiting until the last minute to book our family trip to the Lake, we were “stuck” booking a house in Austin. However, this was the best thing that could’ve happened. Not only was the house more cost effective for what we needed, but it better suited our needs as well! The pictures do not do the house any justice! I was a bit concerned with having enough space to entertain the family, but everyone was more than comfortable. The best part of it all, was the location. Not only were we only 30 minutes from Lake Travis (also didn’t know that we were only one street over from Lady Bird Lake), but we were able to walk down to the end of the street and see the firework show. Overall, the house was amazing! It literally had everything we needed, on top of the amazing customer service throughout the stay. We will definitely be back!

In short, the house was wonderful. It was really beautifully renovated and outfitted, with a chill, clean, modern West Texas vibe. Trendy but not over the top. We were sad to not be able to use the outside spaces (we were there during an ice storm) but the inside was cozy. Lots of appliances, kitchen tools, etc. so guests are unlikely to need to bring any specialty tools/equipment. The fridge was well stocked with leftover condiments and beverages from previous guests, so that was a nice surprise. Really appreciated having a second garage fridge. Wifi worked great and the AV equipment was high quality and well designed (We loved the ingenious through-the-wall system, btw!) We had a lot of catering so the large number of recycling bins and trash bins were very appreciated. Wish we could come back during warmer weather!
