Liked location, quiet and quaint. Lack of air conditioning a bit rough but knew that upfront. Fans in unit (2) made it better. Still waiting on security deposit as that not expected . Unit left as good as we found it. Overall would recommend!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay at the Condo, it was located close to the beach and the nearby shopping areas. The condo was clean and it has decent amenities. We would book it again if we come back to this area of Maui.

All time best place!

We love staying at Napili Bay Resort! This was our fourth time staying there, and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else on Maui. It’s all about the location, best beach, best sunsets, best swimming! I worried that w/o air conditioning, I’d be too warm, but there’s a lovely breeze blowing through, and it has everything you need.

Terrific place- clean, well stocked kitchen with everything we needed. Beach chairs,umbrella- So appreciated!Love the extra fan, in lieu of air conditioning, helped a lot! We will be back!

Napili Bay resort

Stayed for 4 nights. It was great except for the fluorescent light over the sink randomly goes off & on and the switch is taped and labeled "Do Not Touch". The light shines right to the bed. So not cool, when it comes on, multiple times, in the middle of the night.The open air room, no a/c, was great with ample fans. Had a great, short get away for the 2 of us. We only wished we had access to a pool.

Lovely stag

The studio is great for a couple, there is no privacy really so you have to be ok with that. It had everything we could need and just steps to the beautiful beach. So happy to have discovered this place.

Great place to stay!!

My husband and I spent 12 days in this condo. Despite it’s small size, we were very comfortable here. It was laid out very well and didn’t seem cramped. It was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was probably one of the best stocked ones we’ve found in a rental property. There was nothing that we needed that wasn’t there. We were there with a larger group so really spent very little time inside (who would want to in Hawaii!!!). The beach was gorgeous and that’s where we spent most of our time, other than when we were out seeing the sights. The laundry room and BBQ areas were also big pluses. We and our friends had dinner in the BBQ area every night. There’s also a lending library in the laundry room so if you forgot a book for the beach or finished one and didn’t have another, you can grab one in there. The condo came with beach chairs and an umbrella, which was also a big plus. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Time once again in Condo 216

This is one of my favorite condos in the complex. Everything was perfect for a relaxing stay with not a care in the world. Best part is arriving and the not so best part is leaving no matter how long you stay. We're already talking of returning later this year or at latest next year. Kimberly is a gracious host who genuinely cares about your enjoyment.

Napili Vacation

Great 9 days. Overall the place worked well. Kitchen, shower and TV setup was great. A little dirty and worn in places as it older. More little flying bugs inside than we would have liked but it is Maui. Screens need some work. Short walk to beach. Enjoyed the stay.

Need inside table

Everything was good except there was no indoor table to eat on. The eating table was outside, but with outside light and darkneds at 6pm, there was no comfortable place to eat at 7pm

Great stay

My wife and I spent 8 nights here. It’s so convenient here. We can walk out our door and through the gate to the beach. We walked to Kapalua Bay as well. It’s about a ten minute walk. It was so nice not to need to park the car to enjoy Napili Bay and Kapalua. We saw turtles and fish in both bays. This condo is an excellent value and well kept. The pictures are very accurate. We ate at the Gazebo restaurant for breakfast and its huge portions. We also enjoyed the Sea House restaurant for happy hour. The sunsets from the lanai were gorgeous and the bed was very comfortable. It was a great 8 days.

Old Hawaii vibe

The Good: excellent location, 1 minute to beach, balcony faces a quiet garden with a glimpse of the beach and ocean. Comfortable, well supplied, kind and responsive owner. Lovely little BBQ and picnic area, building has a friendly old-Hawaii vibe, great parking. Not so good: condo needs a reno, especially the kitchen, badly siliconed sink is a haven for bugs (Don’t leave any food on the counter). Only one ceiling fan, closet and bathroom doors are hard to open and close. No place to hang wet towels and bathing suits. No safe for money and passports. Overall, we enjoyed our week stay in this studio condo.

Excellent Napili Bay Resort studio condo

When I decided to spend an August 2024 week in West Maui, a revisit since my last 9 years ago, my objective was a cozy & quiet condo where I could leisurely spend my days anytime at Napili Bay or Kapalua Bay beaches without having to fight for parking spot, and I found it perfectly at Napili Bay Resort #216. The studio condo is nicely furnished together with well-equipped kitchen and full-size refrigerator, offering enjoyable stay for a single or couple, with option to cook in, take out to eat in, or dine out (2 walking-distance breakfast/lunch restaurants and others within 10 driving minutes). Being on 2nd floor, it provides the privacy of a back-lanai garden/tree view and a partial right-of-lanai Napili Bay ocean view (I could hear the heavy-at-times bird chirping in the morning and wave crashing in the evening). Even though without A/C, the trade wind that flowed constantly from front to back through the screen doors and windows kept me comfortable days and nights, not to mention the table and ceiling fans. Friendly and well communicating owner/manager, beach access by room key directly to Napili Bay, beach chairs and umbrella stowed in the lanai, ample parking within the resort, secured WiFi internet, streaming video service and cabled TV were among the conveniences during my stay.

The best studio on Maui!

We've traveled to Maui for the past thirty years and always stayed at the Kapalua Golf Villas. We thought that was 'the' place to be. Then we decided to expand our horizons and stayed in Condo 216 at the Napili Bay Resort in February 2022. It was a big leap, going from a one bedroom with huge lanai to a studio. However, after staying in Kim's condo, we will never go back to Kapalua. The studio was perfect for us, and while the lanai isn't the same size as those in Kapalua, we could sit and watch the whales and actually hear the waves in the evening; those same waves lulled us to sleep every night. Instead of walking fifty steps to reach a pool at Kapalua, we could walk fifty steps and sink our toes into the sandy shores of the beautiful Napili Bay. Staying at 216 made us feel as though we were truly in 'old Hawaii,' something you can't put a price tag on. We've already booked time at Napili Bay 216 for 2023 and 2024.

Great location, no ac

The best thing about the condo was the location. It has a nice view and access to the beach. It was nice that it came with beach chairs and umbrella. Condo had everything you needed.. The smart tv and internet were great too. The downside is that it’s really small and there is no ac. There is a nice breeze, but if you come in the hottest months , there is no break from the heat and humidity. It says it sleeps 4 , but with the sofa bed out, you can barely walk the length of the condo. There was only two of us and it felt cramped. Host is responsive and helpful. But bottom line, I wouldn’t stay there again. You can’t change he size….. you could add an ac u it, but then they would need to fix the windows that wouldn’t even shut. Not that you could bear to have them shut in the hotter weather…

Great place to stay

My husband and I took a 3 day trip to Maui and loved staying here. It was super clean, had everything we needed (beach chairs, towels, kitchen supplies, soap, and so much more), and a great location with being basically on the beach. Only negative I would have is no ac unit however there was a ceiling and extra fan which made it not bad especially if you are use to no ac!
