We normally don't stay in the room when we travel, but this was an exception. We actually stayed in the room 2 of 7 days just enjoying the room, the view, the breeze - we didn't need to go anywhere. The bed near the lanai was like having a beach-front bed. Why get all sandy when we could just lay here and watch the waves?We ate mostly on the lanai - breakfast, lunch, dinner. The bed was so comfortable that we wanted the model number so we could buy it for home.It's hard to think of anything that was negative. We did need the fans for sleeping - but the cross-breeze made it feel like sleeping on the beach. If I had to make one recommendation - I'd like the option to turn on air conditioning, but we did NOT need it.We stayed a second week at a different place and wished we'd just stayed here.

The view from 407 was amazing. Honestly, this is the biggest and only reason to rent this place. If you want to be right on the ocean. If you aren't used to the sound of the waves then bring some earplugs. Also, because there is not A/C, you need to rely on keeping the patio and front door open at night for some airflow. The fans are pretty weak that they have in the room so I was also sleeping with no blankets to stay cool. Otherwise, like I said, you rent this place to be right on the water. Fantastic views. We used the small kitchen and barbecues by the pool every day so that worked out great. I would have given it a 5 star if they had a better fan that moves air on you when sleeping. The ceiling fan is over the couch not the bed.

Loved the place.

Perfect for just two of us. The BEST sunsets right from our balcony! Very relaxing to listen to the ocean all night long! We loved it!

Beautiful property!

The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom is a bit dated but everything worked well and the view from the balcony more than made up for it.

Everything was wonderful

We had a great time in Maui and the accommodations made it even better. The view from the balcony was breathtaking. The beach access was easy to get to. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable.

Can't beat the view!

We had a wonderful 10 days in this just right for two property. The view of whales, walking the beach, the waves, and lots of turtles is just what we wanted. It was clean and neat, we could have used a few more towels, but we just used the laundry facility in the building when needed. We would love to go back!

Paradise outside your balcony

The view!! You can whale watch from the balcony! Beach is small but nice and private for the condo owners! Shopping and food truck just down the street! The condo is working 5 miles of front street, where all the action is for shops, food and excursions

Everything we wanted and more.

It was the best scenic view from our room with palm trees and ocean waves. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was big enough for me to cook breakfast in the morning. It was near restaurants and grocery stores. We didn’t have to pay for parking which was a plus. The next time we come to Maui, we will definitely stay here.

Awesome!

This unit was amazing. We had everything we needed. The beach chairs and cooler were nice extras. We loved it here. It was a perfect location and the condo itself was perfect for 2 people. The parking was simple, and access to the unit was simple. The view from the lanai was perfection.

Honeymoon Trip

The location and staff were great! We were there when they were doing spalling which was very noisy during the day. They also had to shut off the water for most of the day on our last day which was very inconvenient when we got back from our excursion and needed to shower before dinner. But over all great views of the ocean and in prime location.

Great location , nice condo, right on the water

We loved our stay. So close to the water, the beach was great as well. We saw whales almost every day. The only thing to note is that the pool in the photos taken looking out from the balcony is not the complex pool but the neighboring complex’s pool. The pool for this complex is not water side. We didn’t use the pool at all as the beach was so nice. No complaints at all. We loved how easy it was to just walk to the little store nearby, The bed was extremely comfortable, and we loved that we could relax in bed and look out at the ocean. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful spot for ocean view

Love the location and view. Everything was satisfactory. Bed and sheets were very comfortable. Very Nice that towels and beach chairs/bogey board/cooler we’re included. Toilet is a high pitch tone that is pretty annoying. Toilet tank is cracked. Should be fixed. Otherwise all perfect.

Amazing view and location

You cannot beat the views and location of this property! The resort itself was also beautiful. There were only minor set backs like a malfunction with our screen door and rust/dirt along some of the doors but not a deal breaker. It did get pretty hot at night because it does not have an air conditioner but we knew that when we booked. If you can’t tolerate heat at night I would suggest you only book here in the winter/cooler months. We visited in the middle of September and it was about 85 degrees at night still.

Oceanfront Valley Isle great, but no air conditioner

Valley Isle Oceanfront had great views , but no air conditioning, sliding door needs repairs ie; replace rollers & water leaked from ceiling in bathroom which we had to evacuate to Kahana Reef unit. Everyone was very helpful & nice in the transition to new unit. Lost a vacation day waiting for new unit.

Pretty good

The picture out the window isn't totally accurate, there is no beach due to erosion. The view is incredible though. Saw many whale spouting. Drains- sink, tub and kitchen sink didn't drain well. Caused some standing water which smelled bad. Kitchen stove was a joke. Burner was lopsided and didn't cook evenly. Location was pretty good.

Studio with a View!

What's not to love? The ocean waves and sandy beach just outside, with a lanai that overlooks both. While small, the studio met our needs just fine. The large king bed was comfortable. The amenities, while missing a few things like wine glasses, coffee mugs and a tea kettle, worked for us. A couple of items needed attention and the property management assured me they would take care of them as soon as the space was free. None of this detracted from our time. They were minor issues. The complex is well maintained and has a small-ish pool toward the front of the property. The beach feels very private as only those in the complex and the adjacent complex tend to use it. The sand is wonderful and the water, while a bit wavy, is prime for cooling off and/or boogie boarding very close to shore. The key to determining whether we truly liked the place is whether we would agree to rent it again when we return to Maui. Both my wife and I confidentially agreed that we would!

Beautiful View

This was my second time visiting Maui. We visited Weilea the first time we visited. I love the area of this Condo. The walk to the small beach was very convenient. There were shops and restaurants in walking distance and a nice little coffee shop. I give the room 4 stars only because of the lack of AC. I thought we would be ok with just the ocean breeze but I was wrong. Sadly we didn’t do well without air conditioning. We found it difficult to sleep at night and I was sad that I would sweat with my morning coffee. Now this is just my personal preference. I also had a time with towels. Due to the lack of washer and dryer in the condo once you dirtied your beach towel or bath towels you were out of luck. There is a washer and dryer on the 3rd floor but we never had the time to sit and wash them so this was also an Inconvenience, though we did make it work. I would definitely recommend if you don’t mind not having AC. Beautiful area!!!!!!

1st time on Maui

We were celebrating our 30th anniversary and wanted accommodations right on the water. This place was incredible! The condo is about 40 yards from a beautiful beach. We fell asleep each night listening to the surf pound the shore. We saw whales and turtles from our balcony. Just sitting out on the lanai and enjoying the water was a highlight of our trip. We would highly recommend this place!

Great turtle spot

We had a great time in Maui. There were tons on turtles close to the shore. Great view from the balcony of the ocean. The place was nice to stay at. Close to some great restaurants.
