An updated island getaway awaits at this charming 2BR/2.5BA condo, located in the exclusive Shipyard Plantation resort community. Highlights include dual suites, a sleek kitchen, and a private porch with serene surroundings.

Delight in a host of on-site amenities, including a world-class tennis center, gorgeous biking paths, and 27 holes of championship golf. Venture minutes to the private beach club for leisurely days spent by the surf. Enjoy easy access to a host of nearby dining, shopping, and entertainment options.

LIVING AREA

Unwind into vacation mode on a comfy sofa (that converts to a sleeper) and two armchairs in the living area. In the evening, settle in to enjoy favorite shows on the 37' flat-screen TV with cable and a DVD player.

KITCHEN & DINING

Prepare delicious meals in the sleek kitchen, equipped with a farm sink and a full suite of appliances.

While dinner simmers, concoct a crisp drink at the wet bar. When it's time to eat, gather around the formal dining table with seating for six.

BED & BATH

This two-story condo sleeps up to six guests between two suites and a full-size sleeper sofa in the living room.

Find comfort in the master suite, complete with a stately king bed, flat-screen TV, and an en-suite bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

Sleep soundly in the guest suite, featuring a plush queen bed and a flat-screen TV. The en-suite guest bathroom is also configured with a tub/shower combination.

A half bath provides added convenience.

Venture mere minutes to the Shipyard Plantation Beach Club to spend blissful days playing in the gorgeous sand and surf.

Extra perks include complimentary Wi-Fi and an in-unit washer/dryer. Beach chairs are provided in the rental.

Unassigned parking is available for two vehicles in the parking lot. Gate passes are required to access Shipyard Plantation and are $20 per week. (The passes are valid for up to 2 vehicles.)

THE LOCATION

Find a selection of dining, shopping, and entertainment options at Coligny Plaza (1 mile). Head to The Village at Wexford for eateries and boutique shops (1.5 miles).

For a unique interactive museum experience, head to Sandbox (2 miles). The whole family will have fun at Pirate's Island Adventure Golf (4 miles).

Drive 15 minutes to climb to the top of the historic Harbour Town Lighthouse for dazzling coastal views.

The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Loved this cottage!

Loved the private porch with greenery around it, making it a perfect little spot for reading and relaxing. The screened door would be really nice to let in breezes in cooler weather. The open concept made entertaining family there really nice. The kitchen is well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Great property

We stayed almost a month with our dog ( golden retriever) Great location, comfortable with everything you need to have a very good vacation experience. 5 minutes from the private beach and 5 minutes from any restaurant or shopping center. Great customer service.

Great location in Shipyard Plantation.

Those is probably our 20th trip to Hilton Head Island. It was great being able to bring our toy poodle this time! We loved getting to bike the trails and see the neighborhoods in the Plantation and we don't normally get to do that.

Hilton Head Cottage

The cottage we rented was nice, but needed some updating. The bathroom (upstairs) need to be updated for sure. The living room furniture is due for replacement. We did enjoy our stay and had minimal problems, all of which were addressed quickly.

This is the third time we’ve stayed in the cottage. It’s been clean especially since dogs are allowed. Carpet was cleaned this time and it smells so clean. Very quiet and peaceful away from the hustle and bustle of other condo s.

Ruined Vacation- listing is a lie

Do not stay here. The property is not updated, it is dirty, run down, with old dirty furniture and we had to spend the first 24 hours of our seven day vacation going back and forth with VACASA to get into another property. That property was half the cost of this property and we have yet to be compensated for the difference. VACASA continues to ignore emails. I will be disputing the charge with my credit card company. I cannot emphasize enough what a dump this place is and how upsetting the experience was. No apologies for the experience, except from a very nice man, Robert, from relocation services who assisted us in getting into our new place on the second day. The first night we had to clean and wash sheets to make it acceptable enough to stay. We have never had an experience like this is and have used these services on HH and outer banks for years. Cobwebs and spiders in the corners, peeling and chipped ceilings, dust caked on the doors and walls, dirty bathroom floors, hazardous items left on the back porch. I could go on but I hope you get the picture. Do not stay at The Cottages 39 in Shipyard and avoid VACASA.

Excellent precleaning, my wife has dog allergies and there was no sign of dog hair! Beyond what we expected. Did not expect shampoos, dishwasher soap, paper towels! Great stay.

Good proximity to Coligny

Property was as described. We planned to stay for 2 1/2 weeks but had to move to another property after we lost hot water. The management company handled this situation very professionally. The villa could use some updates, but worked for us. There is a grill which is a plus and the area is nice. There are some essentials that are missing, like hot pads, can opener and a few other items if you plan to eat in a lot. The plumbing needs some attention too as it usually took a couple flushes to clear things out of the bowl.
