This beautiful property has 3 large bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, so your entire family will have space and privacy during your family vacation. This amazing property has the most outstanding view overlooking Lake Whatcom and the Sudden Valley golf course. What I love about this amazing property is the very large backyard deck with outdoor dining table and outdoor patio furniture, featuring a large fire pit for evening gatherings. You really couldn't ask for anything more when renting a property, this property has the most picture-perfect view within the Sudden Valley community.

Great quiet place to retreat to. Really enjoyed spending time on the deck and so did our dog with all the golfers going by! Very easy check-in and check out process.

We enjoyed the beautiful view! Our family of 4 and 88 yo grandma enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home! We spent a lot of time at the large family friendly dining room table playimg cards and doing puzzles. We also very much appreciated the cozy foreplace!

This property is AMAZING!!! Very well appointed with comfortable beds/furniture. The owner couldn’t have been more welcoming, responsive and kind! Warm and cozy with great views

The house is well equipped, very comfortable and you really can't beat the views! Wonderful place to relax by the fireplace and play golf. Planning on returning in the summer months for more golf.

Came to Bellingham to spend time with 2 of our kids. This house was perfect ! Great location with a view of the golf course. Comfortable bedrooms and living area. Good communication with the host. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome stay!

Beginning with the property; it was great! The large deck overlooking the gold course with a peekaboo view of the lake was amazing. A lot of outdoor seating and the French doors that open up to the home creates a really spacious environment. The location also great. You can walk to the Marina, the beach there as well. The drive to the pool and the golf course are very easy. Communication with the host was quick, efficient and easy. I would recommend the property!

Beautiful views and location

Appreciated being able to see this recreational area of Bellingham with our family, and pup. Views are nice. Home is adequate but not luxury as I might have thought given the photos. Owner locked down the thermostat for heat at 63 degrees and it was cold, fireplace was not working, so we slept in our clothes to stay warm. Driveway is too steep to park a car, although there is off street parking outside the home.

Thank you so much for your review. I appreciate all of your feedback. This rental property and the location of this property is exceptional. I'm truly sorry you had trouble controlling both the thermostat and the fireplace inside the property. The thermostat does not have a temperature lock down function, the temperature of the property is easy to control by simply using the up bottom marked as a plus sign on the thermostat. The fireplace does work and is also very easy to use, by turning on the gas and lighting the pilot inside the fireplace. I wish you would have contacted me regarding your troubles during your stay, so I could help with both the thermostat and the fireplace. If a renter ever needs any help or assistance with anything inside of the rental property during their stay, the renter may contact me at any time.

Sudden Valley House

It is a beautiful place. We loved the deck. It was very easy for us to get our son and his wheelchair into the house and rooms and out on the deck. We enjoyed it and our family loved it. The view is breathtaking. We enjoyed the lake, pool and all the places to walk. The weather was very hot for PNW and the house was very hot most of the day. An A/C unit would be beneficial and would help cool the house down. Other than that, we loved it and our stay. Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us.

Family trip to Sudden Valley

We are a family of 5 and had a lovely recent stay at this property and especially enjoyed the very large back deck which was great for outdoor dining, relaxing, and BBQing. The host is also very friendly and communicative and responded quickly to questions before and during our stay. The listing is a little mis-titled as "lake front" as it is actually on the golf course and the lake is a walk either along the course or through the neighborhood. And the only other comment is that it has a very steep, short driveway which was tricky for elderly parents to get down when they visited. Though the house itself is very well laid out and easily accessible on one level once inside. Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the beauty of the community and the daily deer meandering the property.

Perfect Holiday Stay

Lovely home in a beautiful spot with great views. Nice kitchen for an away from home Christmas celebration. House was nicely decorated for the holiday, including a large tree! Well appointed throughout, good layout which optimizes space, very clean, and a comfortable place to hang during a winter storm! Would definitely stay here again! Nicole, the property manager, was very helpful and responsive.

Beautiful home and view

This was the perfect Vrbo experience. The house is truly a hidden gem. The views are picturesque with the rolling hills of the golf course, the mountains and the lake as well as the geese, bunnies and deer that roam the course right outside your door. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated but in a way that leaves you feeling at home. Gas fireplace, large bedrooms and luxurious bathroom and showers were a huge bonus. Everything in this house was incredible down to the outdoor living on the back deck with the fire pit coffee table. The perfect place to sit outside and enjoy a drink. We wish we could have stayed longer

Not to mention the most beautiful, scenic and challenging golf course in the Pacific Northwest.
