House close to lake Belton

We really enjoyed staying in the house.We stayed 2 weeks.It is a 3 bedroom,2 bath, living room,kitchen- open concept.Washer,dryer and garage.Also had a fenced in yard,patio with table and chairs,and charcoal grill.The neighbors were also very nice.The home is close to Walmart and shopping.All of that for cheeper than a hotel.I recommend and would stay again if needed.

Perfect Home Base

This was a great house for our visit to some family in the area. Quiet, clean and comfortable. All the expected amenities to make our stay pleasant. There were only three of us so there was the right amount of dishes for us but if you have a larger party you would have to mix and match to have plates and bowls.

Just what I was looking for

Nice, out of the way property in a quiet neighborhood. Little traffic, close enough to amenities in town. Plenty of room for 5 adults.

Fantastic stay

We were very pleased with the rental and the host. The home is in a quiet neighborhood out of a Belton proper and had all the amenities we needed. Loved having a washer/dryer and 2 bathrooms which made getting ready for our day easier. We’ve stayed at another property by this host and will utilize her homes next time we travel to the area! The host was very attentive to a minor issue with a chirping smoke alarm and took care of it quickly. Highly recommend staying at her property/properties!

Perfect for the occasion

We rented the property so we would have a place to wake up to open presents on Christmas morning, while our house is almost complete after being in a tornado. It was perfect for us as a family! Thanks

Great Property in Belton

Beautiful home on quiet street in Belton. Very clean, well supplied with cooking and cleaning tools. Very nicely decorated with fenced in yard. Good communication with Host.

Potential but unfortunate

House was semi clean however windows were unlock no light on the front porch towels had stains table on the backyards dusty garage attic no cover bathroom door would not lock the laundry room is messy refrigerator was dirty with rust on the freezer racks the outside trash can full to the brim and trash outside the house.

Nice home for cozy stay

The home had just the right amount of space for our family of 5, and room in the backyard for our dog to run around. Our only (minor) issue was that the home only had some dishes in sets of 3, but we some of our own things with us so it didnt end up being a big deal. Just worth noting if you are not travelling without your own sets of dishes like we happened to be. The host was responsive and helpful, and we enjoyed our stay.

Clean and cozy

We rented this house to attend a family reunion and it worked out great. It was very clean and the beds were comfy and it sits on a quiet cul de sac. We enjoyed our stay.

Hot vacation

Pics make look bigger than actually is. Beds are fullsized- no king or queen. Host did not precheck house & we checked in @ 84 degrees on a 102 degree day. Notified host on 2nd night bc after we got back from lake it was STILL 80 degrees in there. Water had flooded our room’s carpet. She did not answer so i left a voicemail. The NEXT day, after i messaged her ln the VRBO platform she says her phone nv rang - she just got my voicemail. So THAT day we had 3 large fans brought in, and they stayed on til we left. Could not talk, watch tv and could not get to my bed so i had to switch rooms for the last night. Missed my window of opportunity for a refund so an expensive, HOT & MISERABLE vacation (?) is what i got. Complete opposite of what I desperately needed. Have photos & convos with host. One excuse after another and even tried to justify it bu how HIGH they keep THEIR thermostat!!!

Comfortable base camp

We came to Belton to visit our new grand baby. The check in process was simple, beds comfortable. No frills house… good for our needs. Minor glitch… we couldn’t watch the US Open on the TV because that channel was not offered.

Nice quiet and convenient location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was very comfortable and clean. Our property manager was excellent to deal with and was very helpful. A couple of things would have been nice to have, but not deal breakers. We really wish that there was a gas grill because we regularly use one at home and the other thing would be to have updated kitchen utensils. Overall this rental property was a really good value. We'll probably rent it again on future trips to the area.

T-Ball Game

My grandson had a t-ball game that we were coming from out of town to watch and there was not enough room for the four of us to stay with my son and daughter-in-law's. This house worked perfect for us as it was only about 15 minutes from their house.

Great for a small family stay

We enjoyed our stay at the Taylor House. The house was clean, had the necessities, and was in a central location. We were there to visit our son at Ft Hood and everything we needed was within a 20 minute drive. The space is small but it is laid out well for family time. The host was kind, professional, and super responsive. My only "warning" would be if you bring a pet that is an escape artist, the fence has some openings - we did not experience this but would have had this concern if our smaller dog was with us.

Home away from home

Location and home were perfect for our needs. The kitchen is very well stocked and what wasn’t supplied wasn’t hard to find at Wal-Mart. The only thing I’d suggest is to repair or replace existing screens, I love to sleep with my window partially open in nice weather and wasn’t able too! Owner was extremely easy to communicate with and the neighbors are very quiet.
