Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location. Internet needs some serious work. The outside patio furniture really needs upgrading. Deck and stairs need some work, you can’t walk down the porch stairs because the landscape is over grown. It would be nice to have a full drawer of utensils to use.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay at After Dune Delight! The property is exactly as pictured- nice and clean, cozy and inviting. It feels surprisingly private even though there are other homes close by. The location might have been my favorite part. It’s just a short walk to little stores, beach shops, food and ice cream. The beach was never too crowded. It almost gave us a feeling of being on a private beach! We saw dolphins, crabs, and all kinds of fish! The top floor balcony is incredible for star gazing! The entire Coastal Joe’s team was accommodating and friendly! We really have no complaints! We will absolutely be back again!!!

An after dune delight

Perfect Spot!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This location was absolutely perfect! Was it the most updated? No. Did it have a perfectly stocked kitchen? No. Was it completely suitable for our stay? Yes. Be ready to climb some stairs. If stairs are difficult, be prepared. Upon entry you rise to a very bright living and kitchen space. The windows open directly to the patio overlooking the beach, just steps away from the water. The living area would be better suited with larger furniture. The sofas are very low to the ground and tiny. The bedrooms are all very well appointed, and bathrooms are suitable. Complaints:The patio furniture was a bit rickety from all of the sea spray. A patio sofa or more comfortable chairs would be welcomed. The handles on all of the doors were quite rusted from all the seaspray, but they were functional.All three showers made a scream of distress when shifted from bath mode to shower mode and continued throughout the entire shower. They were functional, but the loud noise and scream would give the impression that the entire thing could explode at any given time. Internet/Web/Cable: This is the biggest complaint we had, as our wifi access was impaired almost the entire trip. Not a problem in good weather when we were away from the home. Big problem with rainy weather just hanging out. The television in the livingroom was difficult to maneuver and did not work when wifi access was down. The upstairs bedroom had no remote control that worked, and the wifi did not work 75% of our trip. The other two bedrooms were also as equally problematic. We did have someone come out to fix the issue, but it was the day before we left, so not really a fix. If you are a watch a movie together kind of family, I would definitely make note of this. Lastly, we would absolutely go back. This was affordable and amenable to what we were looking for. Always room for improvements, but I knew at the pricepoint that we would have a few

Happy Vacation

We had a fantastic family vacation at this property. The access to the beach was great and very close to the house which made it easy for beach runs with a toddler. The property management was very helpful and responsive.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had perfect views from balcony's on 2nd & 3rd levels. But not worth the money. 1. We wouldn’t stay there again mainly because of the number of steps. 2. There were nails sticking up on the steps3. we could not easily open doors to patios or if we did it was very hard. 4. The door needs rusty door locks & handles replaced. We do realize the salt water does a mean job on metal. But if we needed to hurriedly open the house we couldn’t. 5. could not take a bath in 2 tubs due to missing stoppers6. washer didn’t work7. Dispensers for ice maker and water didn't work in refrigerator8. Living area not on 1st level, way too many steps & no toilet on living area. You had to go up or downstairs.9. We arrived around 5p to 86 degree on top 2 levels. The fans were on and we couldn't help but wonder if someone knew the air was off. We left a message on 2 numbers that was provided & got call backs later that night. Air was on around 11:30p. 10. No hot water but we found the breaker box 11. Although lots of the fixtures needed updating. We could tell that lots had been done to get it ready for guestsWith all that said, we had a great week enjoying our beautiful views, the beach, driving through areas we had previously visited, enjoying food from many different restaurants & picture perfect sunsets. We arrived home safely with lots of good memories of a good week. Hope this information just helps keep the house rented .
