The Hemlock Tiny House is a modern and cozy single-story tiny house featuring a large 7x7 foot window overlooking the beautiful wooded hillside, a queen bed with a great view of nature, full kitchen and bath, and great outdoor space among mature trees to enjoy an evening campfire and the night stars. Nestled on a private wooded hillside less than an hour southeast of downtown Columbus, this tiny house has all the comforts of home – just bring your toothbrush and a change of clothes and you're all set to enjoy the renowned Hocking Hills trails and all the nearby restaurants, wineries, breweries, coffee shops, and other great adventures!

I rented this place for my sons 27th birthday for him and his girlfriend. They said it was absolutely perfect. While they were there they happen to have a terrible snowstorm . The owners reached out to check on them to make sure they were ok. I cant say enough wonderful things about this place.

The tiny house was very clean and had all the amenities that one would need during the stay if needed. The hosts were very kind and attentive from the first day of scheduling to check out. We would absolutely recommend this property and look forward to seeing their other 5 properties.

We had a great time at the Hemlock House.The house was very clean and well equipped. We loved watching the wildlife (birds, deer, squirrels, and chipmunks!) through the seven foot window. Communication from the host was very good. Information was clear and timely. We would gladly stay here again.

Perfect Getaway

Everything was absolutely perfect. The huge window was amazing. We lounged in bed and watched deer, squirrels, and a variety of birds outside. It feels like a treehouse! The hosts provided all of the pertinent details in advance of our arrival and entry into the tiny house was a breeze. Definitely recommend!

Wonderful Stay

My stay in the Hemlock Tiny House was amazing! It is beautifully decorated and very comfortable & cozy. The location is perfect, secluded yet close to dining & entertainment. It was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We will be back!

Greatly Exceeded Expectations!

This property was amazing. The host took all routes of communication, was timely with everything, and provided an abundance of wonderful information. Their communication and information share definitely had a positive impact on our trip. The property also provided ample amenities that we found super helpful during our stay. The positive experience that the host has established for this property made us feel very welcome and relaxed. Cannot thank the hosts enough!

Mini Spring Break Get Away

While the weather was brisk our stay in the Hemlock tiny house was warm and cozy. My daughter and I headed to Hocking Hills for a short spring break hiking trip. Christine and Matt made our trip so easy to plan and enjoy with their travel guidebook.

Hocking Hills fall foliage getaway

Our first time to Hocking Hills area. It should be a National Park - amazing! Our tiny house in the woods was the perfect choice to stay. Peaceful location with complete privacy. Practically brand new and not even a cobweb. Owners are ideal hosts with excellent communication.

Beautiful property in Hocking Hills is tiny yet perfectly designed for comfort and efficiency. Our host was kind and super responsive. We stayed in most of the time due to heavy rains and wind, but enjoyed nature through the wall-sized window.

Great Tiny House Experience in Hocking Hills

First time at Hocking Hills and first stay at a tiny house added up to a wonderful outdoor getaway for my husband and me. Matt and Christine's Hocking Hills Tiny Houses do not disappoint. Lots of amenities in a small venue that had us feeling like we were staying at an upscale resort. We loved watching the birds flock to the feeder each morning thru the large glass window while we enjoyed a cup of coffee courtesy of Matt and Christine. In addition, these hosts provided a wonderful little area guide that not only provided links and info on the great hiking locations in Hocking Hills State Park, but also places to find beverages, food, treats, shopping or just other things to do in the area. We tried several of their suggestions and really enjoyed our last minute getaway. We will be back and will most likely pick the Hemlock again or perhaps try another of Matt and Christine's Tiny Houses. Wonderful trip staying at a wonderful place.
