Steps to the Beach! Oceanfront, Ground Floor, Family Friendly




Welcome to our little paradise we fondly call “Waves & Rays”! This beautiful condo is located at The Pelican, a premier well-manicured property, which features two outdoor swimming pools (one seasonably heated), shuffleboard, grills, and outdoor dining areas. It is conveniently located near Flagler Ave with plenty of restaurants, bars, and shops.

Your private entrance to the beach is just steps away. You can enjoy the spectacular oceanview and sunrise from the comfort of your private patio with your coffee or glass of wine. The unit is conveniently located on the ground floor, providing easy access to the pool, grills, and beach. Pack the wagon with the boogie boards, beach chairs, and toys from the storage closet and head straight to the beach to catch some waves and rays.

The living room has double sliding doors to bring the outside into the condo.

The family will enjoy the complimentary hi-speed internet, Roku box, cable TV, select books and DVDs, and board games. The living room has plenty of seating space along with a full-size sleeper sofa. Enjoy a meal in the dining area, whether it's prepared in the full kitchen or delivered from one of the many great restaurants in New Smyrna Beach.

The master bedroom features a king bed with a newer mattress and a TV with cable. It also includes a large separate storage area with a compact security safe, that leads to the master bath with shower and tub. The guestroom features a twin over full bunk, good for multiple children or adults, along with a TV with cable. A second bathroom with a shower is located directly across from the guestroom.

It feels like home when you stay here, the unit includes a washer and dryer, a full kitchen, Keurig machine, and drip coffee maker.

As much as we love our furry babies and friends, guest pets are not permitted to stay at The Pelican.

Complimentary parking tag (max of 2 vehicles) and wristbands to access the private amenities will be issued at the front office during business hours. The Pelican requires a 4 or 7-day minimum stay depending on time of year.

The condo was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was great being on the 1st floor. We spent a lot of time on the expansive pool and patio area. Would definitely stay here again! Excellent communication from the host.

Great vacation stay!

Love New Smyrna Beach, and this condo at THE PELICAN. Great place, new amenities, easy to get to pools and beachside. Property Manager Rome has been wonderful to work with. Would recommend this place for a great vacation.

We have loved the Pelican for decades, but this is the condo we always come back to. It is thoughtfully designed and exceptionally well stocked, with everything you could need already there.The host is, by far, the kindest we have ever worked with. She makes us feel like family every time we visit.The view is lovely, and one of the biggest bonuses is being on the ground floor. It solves our only downside to the Pelican, the elevators, and gives us more time to do what we love.If you love NSB and want an incredible experience, this is it!

Our stay was great, the condo had close access to the parking lot, beautiful view of the pool area/ beach. It was very clean, and had all the necessary things for a family to stay, and even work remotely if needed. This was our first time using verbo and it was amazing!

Beautiful place, Fun trip

Our first NSB visit and didn't disappoint! This condo is very clean, convenient, has a comfortable bed and a beautiful place in a great location. The beach and pool were not crowded at all. It was pretty quiet and peaceful. Everything we needed were provided by the host, who communicated very well. Our family highly recommends this place!

great amenities with beach view

we had a wonderful time! easy access to the beach and pools. i have multiple sclerosis so the first floor access made everything easier. unit was nice and clean. owner was fast ti respond to message

Great location

The Pelican never disappoints and this condo had everything we needed. First floor location with easy access to everything made it nice to get to the pool, beach or parking lot. Kitchen had everything if you want to cook. Plenty of towels and linens available. Chairs, boogie boards, etc in storage as well. NSB is always a great stay and this condo unit was great for our family vacation!

simple beach life with contemporary accents

This condo is a perfect combination of simple beach life with contemporary accents. It’s very warm and inviting. Some beach 2/2 condos feel quite small and tight. This one lives very well and accommodated (for us) as many as 7 guests for the day, including dinner and it never felt cramped. We arrived late and were not able to shop. I was so grateful there were fresh Kuerig cups available to start our first morning. Of course our favorite is being in a ground floor unit. It just makes beach life so simple and easy.

Nice Place

Great ground floor condo. Easy access to the pool and beach. Plenty of space inside. Surprisingly not a lot of families staying while we were there for spring break. This place seems to be geared more towards retirees. Beach is very nice and flat, but the seawall seems to push out farther here than at some of the neighboring places making the beach minimal at high tide. One heated pool was very nice. The other one didn’t get much use due to temperature. Shuffleboard was a very cool added bonus for the kids to enjoy. Overall, would recommend this place for anyone looking for an easy going vacation.

💕⭐️Love - would stay again!

Love the view, the unit had everything we needed. Location was wonderful - steps to ocean and two fabulous pools. My only comment was the no pools after dusk. We were there in November, so it was dark by 6:30 - it would be nice to extend that perhaps to 8-9pm (but I know that’s not the owners fault - they have to follow rules too. My 10 year old did not like their rules though. Lol). The ocean made up for it. Exceptionally well maintained grounds. Just what we needed.

Condo was fantastic

I have stayed at this property many times in the past but I’ve always rented upper level condos. This was our first time on the ground floor and it is right on the walkway to the pool. This made our daily trips to the beach and the pool a breeze. This condo provided everything you need for the beach. Plenty of chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas and a beach cart that was the absolute best! Load up the beach cart with a built in cooler and you’re all set for one trip down to the beach! Owner was very responsive, and answered questions within minutes. If you’re looking for a great value that provides all the necessities on the ground floor just steps from the ocean… This is it!

Great vacation spot

The property was amazing! Everything was clean and in good condition. We were able to find all items we needed for cooking except a cookie sheet which was not a big deal. We used the pool daily and the shuffle board court as well as the beach access. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone vacationing in Florida. The only real issue we had was during the reservation process. Somehow the property ID on the web site was incorrect so we thought we paid for your condo but it was another p roperty. I had to get a refund from the other resort and book yours again. If you would like any further information about this feel free to contact me. We really enjoyed our stay,

Beyond Expectations

For over four decades, my family and I have made the Pelican at New Smyrna Beach our home away from home. Having experienced around 20 different condos over the years, this unit stood out as a true gem. Initially hesitant about not being on a higher floor, we quickly fell in love with the convenience and views that the ground floor offered. Booking at the last minute, we were fortunate to have Rome, the epitome of hospitality, ensuring our needs were met while accommodating our hectic schedule. Rome went above and beyond, even allowing us to extend our stay when were weren't ready to leave. The attention to detail in the unit's amenities were unparalleled. The condo had everything we could possibly need and was so thoughtfully stocked. A delightful surprise awaited us upon our late-night arrival—a beautifully gift basket. We have already started talking about our next visit. Thanks again Rome!

Convenient and beautiful

Our family spent the week at The Pelican for Thanksgiving week. Communication with the property host was thorough and timely. Check in was a breeze. The unit was clean, updated and well appointed. There was plenty of space to spread out. I loved the convenience of the ground floor unit. An easy walk to the pool. The heated, illuminated pool was amazing and my kids enjoyed late night swims. Beware if your kiddos are loud and rowdy like mine. The older, resident snowbirds can give some dirty looks and act like the pool area should be like one at a senior citizen home. The shuffleboard area and direct beach access was closed due to damage from Hurricane Nicole the week before. That was a bummer but nothing compared to the devastation some nearby homes on the beach suffered. We enjoyed a night of grilling on the common area gas grills. It is a lovely property and so close to happening Flagler Avenue. We’ll be back 😀

We absolutely love the Pelican! It's beautifully maintained and perfectly located. You'll find it far enough from the hustle and bustle of Flagler Avenue for a peaceful beach retreat, yet close enough if you want to dive into the vibrant beach life on Flagler Ave.

The two pools and shuffleboard courts are always a hit with my family. Come experience it for yourself!
