Overall the place gave us what we needed. Great location and close to everything. The loft needs a good deep cleaning. The shower curtain had mold on it. The beams in the living room had dust an inch thick and the entry to the lofts was disgusting. Some things that need attention were the table chairs, they were all very wobbly. Also, the bathroom doors would not well you had to slam them. This location is right around the bars so a lot of late night/early morning noise.

Good location

The good… The location of the property is great. The entry way needs a cleaning and refresh but the loft was clean and spacious and comfortable beds. The bad…. There is a nighttime bar scene right below the window so it was quite loud ALL night. The ugly…. Communication through Vacas (I assume the property mgmt) started out ok but when I asked them about the washing machine the first evening (after a load of laundry was placed in it) because since it was unplugged I wanted to make sure it was usable. I got back a response that they would “forward to their local branch”. 14 hours later I reached back out to them, after we pulled out the clothes and discovered that they apparently had bleach in the washer. We washed our clothes in the bathtub but several items were ruined, which I sent them pictures of. Again I got responses that they would forward to local branch. I finally was asked if a repair person could enter the loft in our absence, which I approved. Later when I reached out again I was told that they needed to replace the dryer and it may not happen during our stay (it was a combined stacked unit). So my anger with all this is they knew there was a problem and the mess could have been handled with a sign on laundry not to use. Once the laundry mess was in action the communication turned to crickets. I have reached out since our stay and if I hear back with resolution, I would gladly update my review. Like I said there is good, bad, and ugly to this loft.

Good and bad

The location was great although the nightlife downstairs from the bedroom is very loud all night. The loft is nice and spacious. The communication when there is a question or problem is NOT good.

Very Clean. Easy walk to everything. Next time we will NOT rent a car but Uber from the airport and back. Digital codes were not all correct and communication was poor from the vendor

Location, Location, Location!!

Comfortable, spacious & well appointed condo. There’s some street noise but the 10 Star location far outweighs that! Being able to walk to tour locations, many sights, restaurants & shopping was perfect…

Amazing location, comfy beds.

Location was PERFECT! The beds were comfy. The overall cleanliness could be improved. Tubs and bathrooms were dirty, rugs and flooring could use a GOOD scrubbing etc. The hallway/stairwell leading to the condo was CERY dirty! There was maybe a 1/2 roll of TP in each bathroom & 1btrash bag in the kitchen, so be sure to bring your own extras. Also communication with host was EXTREMELY delayed-it would take anywhere from 12-48 hours to get a response. But again, location was perfect and the kitchen was well stocked-with the exception of there not being a toaster. Also note, if you’re going to the beach there are no beach towels or chairs within the rental. Overall I would definetly stay here again!

Perfect location

Perfect location to historical Savannah. Always felt safe moving about the city. The cafe downstairs was an added bonus with its specialties, the coffee creations were a treat every morning. Would definitely book again if I ever return to Savannah.

Convenient to everything!

The apartment was clean and tastefully decorated. It is spacious and exactly what my daughter and I were looking for during our little get away. The location is fantastic! It’s close to everything that we love about Savannah. There was plenty of space inside the apartment for us to spend time together but also have our own spaces. The kitchen was well appointed for what we needed and was much more convenient than staying in a hotel. The beds were really comfortable! We come down to the Savannah area at least twice a year. We will definitely return to this location on our next trip to Savannah. The only thing that was a bit of a downer is the parking situation. As there isn’t assigned parking for the apartment, the nearby public parking garage is convenient. However, it is also used as parking for the Chatham county courts, which fills the lot during the week. That was an issue on the days that we went out for excursions to Tybee Island and Wormsloe. It’s just something to be aware of and have a plan B and an awareness of where other public parking options are available in the event the lot is full when you return from a day trip to surrounding areas. Other than that little snafu on a couple of days of our trip we loved the rental and can’t wait until our next trip to Savannah and this great apartment.

Shabby chick apartment in the heart of it all

First all the good. Great location. Two parking garages directly across the street. A bloc away from all the nightlife. Close to great restaurants. Felt very safe. It was very clean and well appointed. Everything we needed was there. The appliances appear brand new. However, the WiFi sucks. Sooooo incredibly slow. Don’t plan on working remotely. And while I love the convenience of a keypad lock, I don’t trust they are changed frequently. A simple chain lock would provide a lot of peace of mind. I would definitely stay there again.

Great Location!

This apartment is located in a great spot in Savannah! My parents and I stayed here for a few nights and were able to walk to almost all things we wanted to do and see. There was plenty of space for the 3 of us. The only down side was that there is not a parking space provided however, we easily found street parking. The city has an app for payment and makes it very easy and affordable. ($2/hr from 8am-8pm) I highly recommend this spot for your next trip to Savannah!

Very convenient.

Within walking distance to almost everything. The local tour bus is closely accessible for historical tours and other attractions. Restaurants were plentiful and very good.

Disappointment Multiplied

My allergies have TOTALLY MULTIPLIED!!!! since staying in this property. I honestly don't know how you can EVEN rent it out considering there is black mold growing around the window. AND.....the window is propped up with a cooking pan and a PLUNGER!!!!! give me a break!!! Broken and faded blinds..... shame, shame, shame!!!! Both me and my friend suffer somewhat from allergies..... but HOLY MOLY..we are both suffering since staying at this location!!! again.....SHAME SHAME SHAME

Not so happy, not completely unsatisfied

I don’t usually leave reviews, but several have helped me lately. So here goes: Location was great for site seeing, for dining, and tours, not so much if you don’t love listening to people talk below the loft, especially at night as there is a pub below. Didn’t help that the bedroom window near the street was stuck open, and even though we let VACASA know, no one came to close it. Parking in the parking garage was nice, convenient and about $10 a day. If you got there early enough as it fills up with people going to work and/or court. Street parking for loading and unloading was not ideal. Several outlets didn’t work, lots and lots of burnt out light bulbs. No smoke detector in the room we had to use. With the bedroom door closed, it drowned out the outside noise. It was dark, no outside windows in that room. The historic part of the building was cool, if you’re a night owl, the noise won’t bother you. Nice little cafe downstairs for breakfast and lunch.
