Choose this comfortably furnished and nicely renovated home featuring a restful beach décor
and a private pier for guests! Enjoy your vacation your way! Go fishing or crabbing, or paddle
the canoe for an exploring adventure along the canal. Sun on the deck by yourself or while
watching children or pets play happily in your fenced backyard. Read and rock away your cares
on the screened front porch as you feel refreshing sea breezes, enjoy pleasant shade and hear
the wind in the pines. Have fun family times in the spacious and open living area that even has
a great spot for playing games or doing puzzles together. Meals are easy and enjoyable in the
well-stocked kitchen and adjacent dining room. The large master bedroom has a TV, private
bathroom and walk-in closet. Two additional bedrooms provide sleeping spaces for your family.
This home is located close to other rentals which can help to accommodate larger families.

Limit 2 pets.

NO LINENS AND TOWELS PROVIDED. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN, OR CALL HARBOUR RENTALS TO RENT FOR YOUR STAY.

Cancellations made 30 days prior to arrival will receive 100% of refund of all monies minus $ 39 Processing Fee and Any Credit Card Convenience Fees Paid.  If less then 30 days: the advanced rent is only refundable subject to the following: The property is re-rented for the same period. Re-rental of less than a full week will be refunded on a pro-rated basis. The Agent will retain a $39.00 processing charge and any convenience fees charged. *Deposits are not refunded for ANY reason (including bad weather).

Loved the island.

Property was very comfortable and clean for the most part. Beds were comfortable. Paid cleaning fee yet had to leave with all dishes clean and put away. We had to provide own linens and take out trash. Plus we were asked to sweep floors before leaving. I’ve never had this before in vacation rental where you paid significant cleaning fee. Usually just all dishes in dishwasher and turned on to clean. Some of large serving dishes in cabinet had to be washed before we could use them. There was standing water in two of the pots and pans under cabinet which was very odd.

Family getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was as pictured and described. Front screened porch was nice to sit on and large enough for the 5 of us. We had brought a few camping chairs that we stuck out there. Inside nice space, plenty of seating. Suggestion from the group was mattresses were uncomfortable and could use replacement or toppers for comfort. My husband and I were in master and we didn’t find our bed uncomfortable. Yard is fenced and my dog liked being out there. The fire pit is a great accessory but we had to clean out a lot of debris before use. But we enjoyed an evening catching up around the fire (they sell wood stacks at the small grocery store on island) and having a few s’mores and drinks. The deck out back has some/many rotten boards that seemed ready to give way. I know they have been renovating/updating home and I would make this a priority. It can be a safety issue for two and four legged visitors. I loved that we could bring our pet!! Location is great. Walk a few blocks and you can watch amazing sunsets! We would definitely book again when returning. Check in/out was hassle free. Just waiting for my $600 refundable deposit! We love Chincoteague and found it when our daughter began attending SU. Suggestion: Go to out door bar at Rope Walk and catch a sunset. It is the perfect spot! Barnicle Bill boat ride was also informative and we saw dolphins, bald eagle and nest, oyster farms and a few ponies from a distance. But the history and stories of growing up on island was interesting and engaging.

Family vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A/C did not work for over half of our stay. It was up to almost 80 degrees the first 5 days we were there. When the maintence person did come, he pulled out the A/C filter and it was so filthy we suspect this is why 2 members of our party were suffering from severe allergies. There were ants everywhere. Even crawling on us as we laid in bed. There was also a horrible smell throughout the whole house that I can only describe as backed up sewage. We had a fantastic time despite the conditions, but we would not book this property again due to the A/C issue and the ants. If these issues were rectified it is an adorable home in a fantastic location.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We traveled to see family for the Holidays. Upon arriving we discovered towels and sheet are an added feature. We had no sheets and towels after driving all the way from Michigan. To add them on would be well over an additional $100. Check in was an easy process. We were also able to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and had everything we needed to cook with. It was a little pricey considering it was bare bones and you need to provide your own linens. Which is not industry norm.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family had a great vacation at this property! The house was clean and nicely decorated with a nice fenced in yard for the dog. It was great to have the private dock for fishing and crabbing. Easy trip into town. Only complaint is the kitchen could use some more items (additional utensils and a pasta strainer) and there were no grilling utensils. Also the beds could use some mattress toppers as they were a little hard. Otherwise, a great stay all the way around! Would definitely stay here again!

Great amenities with stocked accessory kitchen made it our “home away from home” vacation stay. Our pups enjoyed the fenced in yard in the backyard. The crab pot for use in the back creek made us feel like we were living off the land. Ample kitchen space was a plus to cook in with enough dining seating for everyone. The AC and ceiling fans kept us cool and comfortable during the hot days here. The screened in porch with rocking chairs were a nice outlet to hang out and relax. There also was enough room to park our 3 cars and truck with a boat trailer. We will definitely plan to keep this place in mind to rent from again when we come back to Chincoteague!Thank you for hosting our family!

The house was comfortable, in a quiet location (a bit further drive from the beach) but worth it. Our family of six fit comfortably in the house. The canoe, crab pots and access to the water were a great bonus and enjoyed by all.

Reviewer Comments: Overall nice little house, great backyard for dogs, cozy screened in front porch, excellent location as just a few minutes from refuge park/town,decent little dock with water access however more of a two-person kayak rather than a canoe and only one wooden paddle provided and no life bring your own if you're wanting to access the water. Internet TV only but wifi was sufficient.. came to see the ponies, loved the scenery and quaintness of Chincoteague!

This trip we spent Thanksgiving in Chincoteague. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything needed to make & serve a full thanksgiving meal. We also love that it is pet friendly with a fenced back yard. We will definitely be back.

We didn’t like the Christian Biblical quote on signs around the house. They felt wrong to us in a vacation rental and presumptuous.
