Family memories @ Creekside cabin ON the creek! 2 mi to Jasper, Buffalo River

Come enjoy the Upper Buffalo River Wilderness Area and the quaint town of Jasper, Arkansas, and relax in our cozy cabin overlooking a year-round rock bottom creek. Our three bedroom/two bath cabin is situated perfectly for both those that love nature and those that like the amenities of town close by. We are located 1.4 miles away from the town of Jasper, approximately 7 miles to either the Pruitt or Hasty river access on the Buffalo National River, and 10-20 minutes away from many wonderful day hikes, mountain biking trails and swimming holes.

Or, you may want to just sit, relax, and enjoy the sounds of the creek on one of the two porches overlooking the water. Our cabin has a fully equipped kitchen and a gas and charcoal grill for enjoying meals in, or Jasper has several restaurants for those wanting a meal out. Creekside is fully furnished with linens, towels and bedding and has a full washer/dryer.

Creekside cabin has a bedroom and full bath downstairs, plus upstairs, via loft stairs, there is another full bath and private bedroom with a queen bed and tv. There is also a bonus loft area with two twin beds, new queen sleeper sofa and an additional sitting area. Creekside is perfect for a romantic getaway for two, a couples’ retreat or for a family vacation. If bringing little ones, please use caution with the loft stairs! The outside stairs make it convenient for carrying luggage up to the second story.

**We've made many updates in 2022--New couches with a roomier living area layout, new 43" Smart TV, new king bed, new bedding on all the beds, larger dining table, plus TV’s were added to the upstairs bedroom and loft.

If you’re looking for floating convenience, we are between the Pruitt and Hasty drop points and less than 5 minutes to grocery and all that Jasper has to offer. So, come enjoy a true mountain log-cabin (not rustic!) experience in the Ozarks at a get away perched above a beautiful babbling, super clear rock-bottom creek and make your memories here!

Beautiful and comfortable cabin! We loved our stay. Communication with our host was easy and response was quick. All details were provided ahead of time. Less than 5 minutes to downtown Jasper. Close enough to various outdoor activities such as hiking and the Buffalo River.

The cabin was clean and had nice furnishings. It’s tucked into a quiet area in the woods yet close to Jasper so, it’s very convenient. The bed was comfortable, and we got great sleep. They’re very generous with supplies, and the kitchen has everything you need. The landscaping isn’t as pristine as the picture, but there’s a nice flat yard area with a fire pit where we made s’mores and enjoyed the evenings. The creek was mostly dry, but the river is down so we expected it might be. We did enjoy walking along the flat rocks in the creek bed and got some good pictures. Overall, we loved this cabin and would recommend it!

The location of this cabin was great and the atmosphere was still relaxing. However, the pictures online are outdated as the overgrowth of the creek bed was very heavy. There was also a tree/shrub that blocked much of the view from the porch and needed to be removed. The rock beds were also overgrown with weeds. The downstairs bathroom light didn't work and the outlets were broken too. The showers had issues draining and there was a terrible sulfur smell in the water. Overall it worked for what we needed. But was somewhat of a high price to pay for amenities that are simple to fix.

We went to creek side cabin for a weekend getaway with our two youngest kids. We had such a great time. The cabin was gorgeous. It was so peaceful listening to the sound of the creek sitting on the deck. It was a very relaxing time. I definitely recommend going and we would love to go back again.

Great place!

I was extremely impressed at how very clean this house was. I have stayed in other cabins previously and have come to expected a few spider webs or evidence of insects etc but this place was sparkling clean. The creek is very close and we all enjoyed listening to it in the mornings and evenings when we could. It definitely adds to the cabin ambience. This is a great space for a family to enjoy time together but still spread out as well. Pack your own kitchen essentials and toiletries but it has some back up essentials in a pinch. Our bed was very comfortable albeit a little squeaky. The space is excellent and have no major complaints whatsoever. My minor complaint is that we did have chainsaw/construction sounds off in the distance in the morning and lawnmowers in the afternoon/evening most days though I hope this is isolated and just bad timing for us. It took away from the secluded feeling. We stayed Sunday through Tuesday and most area restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday so plan accordingly for that! The neighbor dogs coming to visit were an absolute highlight for sure!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Creekside cabin. We had our teenagers and our youngest daughter and our grandson. Our dogs enjoyed playing in the creek. Our youngest daughter absolutely loved the white dog that would come and visit the front porch. Peaceful mornings, and cozy evenings. Light up with fireflies. Memories made.

Amazing stay in Jasper Arkansas.

The cabin was amazing—very relaxing and equipped with everything we needed. The beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable, which was much appreciated after days of floating and hiking. The dogs loved the creek, and the views from the large front porch were breathtaking. It's just five minutes from town, with no neighbors nearby, making it exceptionally peaceful and beautiful. We will definitely be back!

Great place

Spent a short 4 days at the cabin. We were welcomed by Allie, the neighbors dog, and it just got better. The creek was flow, but flowing when we got there (Nov 1). There was a storm with much needed rain during our stay and when we left the creek was full and had even overflowed its banks. Scenery was gorgeous and it’s a short drive to Ponca and many of the hiking trails. We will definitely be back.

Great relaxing weekend.

Every year a group of us get together to catch up and make new memories. We come from Oklahoma, Kansas, and Arkansas. This cabin is great! So thankful the host has directions provided because Google was just shy of getting us there. We had a great time. Those of us that stayed upstairs were very thankful the patio had stairs down to the back patio downstairs. The lift stairs inside are pretty steep. The host took great care of us.

We fell in love with the laid back culture and always look forward to our next trip to Jasper. It’s our great escape to relax, play and be together.

Creekside is only a couple of minutes from Jasper where you can find local shopping, conveniences, restaurants and grocery. It is also only a short 7 minute drive to the Buffalo and close to wonderful hiking, exploring and world class mountain biking!
