Welcome to Kingfisher Cabin!

If the cabin is unavailable for your dates or you are interested in a smaller home, please consider our other home Green Heron Cottage, Listing number 48962879.

There are 3 paddleboards, 3 kayaks (2 adult and 1 child), 1 canoe, floating lounges and wonder noodles as well as some water toys and beach towels available to use during your stay. There are lots a places here to relax and enjoy the lake - my favorite is in an adirondack chair by the fire pit! There is a large table with banquet seating on the covered deck, perfect for enjoying coffee and breakfast with your friends and family. A couch, chairs and outdoor beanbag lounges on the lower porch for sipping a beverage with friends. A table and chairs lakeside for eating lunch while fishing and swimming. A set of folding lounge chairs for the dock so you can catch up on your summer reading. The kitchen is fully appointed with dishes, utensils, cookware and small appliances including a blender, coffee maker, toaster and crock pot. There are also some cooking basics such as common spices, flour, sugar, oil and coffee. A 36" Blackstone griddle is located on the upstairs deck, close to the kitchen. There are 4 bedrooms in the home. The first has a king bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed. The third has a Twin XL. The fourth is a basement bunk room with a full sized top bunk over a full bottom bunk as well as a separate twin xl. Crib and highchair provided. There is wireless internet available as well as 4 flat screen TV's with Roku, Hulu, Netflix and Disney+ services. There are also books, board games and cards. A full bath upstairs with combined tub and shower, and a full bath downstairs with walk-in shower. The basement also features a foosball table, kitchenette with a second full sized fridge and laundry facilities. The home is located within walking distance of Stumpy Creek Park & Marina. Guests will have full use and access to the entire home and private use of the dock while staying at the cabin.

For the safety and security of the home, ourselves and our guests, we have 3 exterior cameras located on the exterior of the property. They view the driveway, front door and backyard

The lake house was as described and had just about everything we needed for our stay. The eclectic decor was especially enjoyed. Be prepared though, for a lot of steps to get to the lake. We would definitely book again.

Amazing Lake House

This rental is so well maintained and exceptionally clean. It was well stocked and absolutely perfect for our family. We would definitely stay there again. It is a fantastic lake house.

Everything you could want!

All guests were very pleased!! There was nothing lacking,,, only extras upon more extras! Your timely response to the unfortunate lighting-induced internet outage (a bummer) was well handled and appreciated. Family has already asked for the VRBO number so that they can reserve next year. Would stay again!!!

Exceptional

They really thought of everything! I can’t think of a single negative about this stay. Everything is provided! AND CLEAN! Not a speck of dust anywhere. Downstairs was a great space for our teens to have some privacy, the water equipment, the stocked kitchen, the flat top grill… we spent most of the day in the kayaks and SUPs, the kids enjoyed jumping off the dock. What a great space you’ve created!

Exellent property and experience all around.

Having rented multiple VRBO'S I would say this is the best one yet. The home was ready to go with anything you would need and very thoughtfully setup. Plenty or rooms and beds for us all , abundance of towels for inside and out, a nice play room downstairs and even kayaks paddleboards and more. Great setup on the lake beautiful yard and canapy of trees to view from the wonderful covered deck. Also a nice Blackstone grill. Great time for all we will be back fir sure.

Family Gathering

This home is perfect for a family stay or group gathering. The large covered outdoor dining area was perfect for us to eat together and enjoy the outdoors. The provided boats and fishing poles were great! The kitchen is stocked well. Plenty of towels, bedding, for all and laundry facilities. Loved the labeled light switches and ample outlets! Parking, safety and decor were excellent. Didn't find any balls or toys for children, but we only had one little person with us. Would highly recommend staying here and plan to return.

Amazing!!!!

We absolutely loved our stay in this adorable lakeside cabin! We were in town for a family wedding and it was so nice to have so much space for us and our 3 kiddos. The cabin had everything you'd ever need! The view of the lake is gorgeous! The dock was so nice to sit on and soak up some sun. The kids loved the kayaks and SUP boards. We would highly recommend!!

Helpful host and perfect house for us

Have stayed in many rentals for fishing vacations and finally found one that had everything we needed. Host was very helpful when we encountered an issue with electricity to the dock.

Can't recommend highly enough!!

We rent quite a few times a year and this rental may be the best one we have stayed at! The owner was great to deal with! Everything about the house was exactly as listed in the post - which is not always the case! The house was decorated great! Such a fun environment! The beds were all super comfortable. We were able to enjoy all the outdoor spaces due to amazing weather! We don't know which we liked better - the firepit area or the covered deck to eat all our meals outside and play games as a family! There was everything that we could have asked for in the kitchen to use! If your plans are bringing you to this area --- this is the place to stay!

Great Fall Retreat!

Loved all of little extras provided such as the coffee bar, beach towels, kitchen items, etc. outdoor area was very nice with exception to some broken steps down to the lake. Loved the covered deck and the black stone griddle. Perfect size home for our family. Everyone was comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. Would love to stay here again if the prices stay where they’re at. Loved the water toys as well.

AMAZING

The house was absolutely amazing and so clean!! It was very comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the lake and all the accessories that came with it. My kids who are 9 and 11 did not want to leave. We will definitely be back! Thank you for an amazing time!

Girls weekend

Kingfisher was terrific. We were all so impressed with the house, the outside deck with the grill even had a ceiling fan. The house has everything you need and the lake is beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

The Very Best Experience

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, well-located, quiet area, every amenity you can think of, and then some. We stayed here for a week with my three adult daughters and two of their friends. Everyone had enough room and LOVED having access to our own dock, kayaks, floats, and paddle boards. We didn't rent a boat, but that would have been welcome here; the water around the dock was deep enough to accommodate. We cooked most of the week rather than eating out to save money, and the house was well-equipped for it. They had every kind of spice, seasoning, pot, or pan you could need. The owner of the property maintains them herself, and she was readily available with any questions. I really appreciated that the house was solid enough that we could go to bed at night and didn't hear noise from downstairs as the younger folks stayed up and played games and watched movies in the basement. While a lot of properties I've stayed at are stingy with towels and paper products, they provided plenty. And there was a very nice washer/dryer set up that is better than what I have at home! I was a little jealous! Our family rents homes each summer for vacation, and this was the best one we've ever had. We felt very much at home. It doesn't get any better than this. I would gladly return.

Wonderful Family Vacation

We have stayed in 3 separate properties over the years, and this was the best yet! Beautiful clean house with comfortable beds. Plenty of space for our family of 4 and then some. Awesome covered porch with a huge fan. Great Blackstone cooktop. Every thought was given to accommodate the guests. From the extra outlets by the beds, to the ample kitchen cookware, multiple washers and dryers, to the hotel style refillable shampoo, soap, and conditioner. We had a wonderful stay and will likely be back to enjoy this great property in an amazing location. One note to the owner, that you may want to consider upgrading the well pump as the water pressure was a bit lacking.

Perfect home on the lake

We were in town visiting friends who also live on the lake. We had 2 boats (whaler and a pontoon) and a jet ski. All fit nicely at the dock. Perfectly appointed. High touch experience with little details and notes all over the home to remind you of how to navigate the home. Thoughtfully stocked with all you need for the lake; towels, swimming gear, paddle boards and more. Kitchen had everything you need to make a meal, ingredients and dishes. There was even a blackstone griddle was a nice touch. Beautifully done. Thank you, we had a nice time and were very comfortable. Family of 4. (15 & 11 yr old)
