Muy tranquilo y privado en una hectárea y media de exuberante paisaje de Roatán con árboles de plátano, guayaba y papaya, alberga esta casa de estilo isleño con tres dormitorios, tres baños, balcón envolvente de 360 grados con vistas. Esta propiedad también tiene una Casita por una tarifa adicional si está disponible y es privada si viaja con otra familia o solo necesita espacio adicional para un total de 4 dormitorios y 4 baños. La propiedad cuenta con una hermosa piscina y el uso de nuestro muelle de 400 pies que está justo en el agua para que pueda nadar, bucear, bucear o pescar. Great Home in a quiet area, close to the beach

Casa Cervantes was everything we could've hoped for and more. The pool, while a little chilly, is so refreshing on a hot afternoon and being just a 3 minute walk to the private pier, where there was amazing snorkeling just a short distance away, was great! The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. The location was also great! Close enough where we could go to town multiple times a day, but far enough away where it was quiet and you can watching the lightening bugs and lizards at night. We would go back tomorrow if we could!

My husband and I booked this property for a week. It is an absolutely beautiful property and has everything that you could possibly need to have an awesome stay. The Casa and Casita, pool and grounds are very well maintained and absolutely gorgeous. The property manager stoppped by several times to make sure we were okay and to ask if we needed anything. The owners are so very easy to work with and extremely accommodating. They are very proud of their property and truly want to share it with you and want you to feel at home here. We will be going back to beautiful Roatan and this is where we will be staying.

Beautiful property and kind owner, but listing wasn't accurate.

The property is beautiful, just like the pictures. The owner is nice and understood when we had some issues and worked with us as best as she could. However, the first 2 words of the listing read "Very Quiet". This was not true. The property is about 300 ft from a major road and the motorcycles are extremely loud to the point it's hard to talk while in the pool. Also, A/C is ONLY in the master bedroom. At night, it was very warm in most of the house and the 2 guest bedrooms that our sons were in needed the windows to stay open for a breeze. However, because of the loud vehicles along the road, they didn't sleep well. The owner was nice and gave us access to the Casita that had A/C and a good nights sleep was attainable. The dock was very nice to watch sunsets, but understand that it is about a 4 minute walk away. The listing said "Beach, Beach view, Ocean view" which is misleading. The property and the owner are nice, but it just wasn't what we expected.

I would not recommend staying in this property

My wife and parents rented the Casa for three nights. I would not recommend this property - it seemed it wasn't used/maintained for some period of time. Now I can see that the last review is almost one year old. The cleanliness was not acceptable for us. Dirty and sticky kitchenware, barbecue and even we need to change our bed sheets since ours had some stains on it. Next morning we found that the freezer and fridge were not working ok - they were quite old (and also the cleanliness was questionable). We put our ice in the freezer and it melted during the night. In the fridge we had 62 F which is not good for the food. The next evening also the AC stopped cooling the master bedroom. Probably the ac liquid ran out. The fan was working, but it stopped producing cool air. We contacted the owner offering that we will find another accommodation by ourselves and kindly asked for refund for two left nights but the owner responded that it is not possible ?!? So it wasn't good experience - we had no ice, no cool drinks, no ac. The next day property manager brought us some ice, but the ac and fridge were still not working. It could be a nice place to hangout but only if well maintained and when all the broken things will be fixed. Also please fix the ceiling fan in the master bedroom - it wasn't working at all from the beginning.

I am sorry to hear about your experience. We are now staying at this property for 2 months and are making many upgrades and changes. We were misinformed during your stay. Apparently there was a power surge that fried the a/c unit as well as the refrigerator. They have both been replaced. There is a brand new microwave oven and smart tv. I know that the house was cleaned as was the BBQ the day of your arrival. The Casa is of modest design and coming from a fancy new hotel I'm sure it was a drastic change for you. This was a very unusual circumstance and I can assure you it is not the "normal" for us as you should be able to tell by our other reviews.

Absolutely the BEST!

This lovely house is located on a beautiful tropical hillside with ocean views and a 5 minute walk to the beach and dock. From the dock it is only about a 100 yard swim to the reef where the snorkeling is amazing. The house is very comfortable, and airy with lots of open doors. The kitchen is well equipped with all you might need for cooking. The pool is very clean and always inviting. The owners were very helpful with any of our questions and/or needs and suggestions of where to go and what to do in Roatan. I highly recommend Sundowners for a bite to eat and watch the sunset. The zip line with South Rim is only a short drive away and so much fun! We also enjoyed the botanical gardens and the sloth farm. The mangrove tour and visit to the Hole in the Wall is also a must. We will definitely return soon!

Amazing location and experience

The casa is a beautiful property with lots of amenities and spacious very comfortable furnishings and rooms.... inviting with a quick walk to the beach and night time sun sets daytime fishing off the dock etcetera.....a private outdoor pool and seating area allows for outdoor dining, entertaining and conversation....tropical birds, trees, and sounds are all around....and touristy activities are easily found and available...short drive from the airport and plenty of shopping available for groceries and other necessities. The island is surprisingly developed and easy to get acquainted with, roads are paved for easy transport to and from the Casa...we will be back!

Amazing home away from home!

This casa & casita comfortably fit 4 couples for our week long vacation! The kitchen had everything we could want to prepare our own meals & the highlight was always enjoying them at the outdoor dining area with the ocean breeze on the porch!! Linens & towels were plentiful too! The pool was so refreshing for the super hot days;). We also enjoyed the beach that was just an easy couple min walk! I would recommend this home if you’re looking for some peace & quiet but still just a 10 min taxi ride to the happening beach restaurants.

Lovely Property in Roatan

Had a wonderful time at Casa Cervantes - the wrap-around porch and the pool were definitely highlights of the place. Access to the dock a short walk away was also great for swimming, snorkeling, and watching the sunset. Recommend a car for getting around, otherwise, the cost of taxis might be prohibitive. Excellent communication with the Hostess and the Property Manager when we had questions or issues.

Well appointed property with all the expected facilities and more.

On arrival the casa looked just like the pictures, plenty of room for our family of four. The property manager was on site to met us upon arrival, gave a comprehensive induction to the property facilities. Ideally situated between the main attractions on the western side of the island.

Great Private Property

We had the misfortune of being double booked at our initial home and were fortunate to find this home to accommodate us for our friends week. The home has three bedrooms with plenty of space (6 adults stayed). I will note the AC is only in the master bedroom so if that's something you feel is needed for all the bedrooms, take note. We left the windows open and fans on at night and it was a comfortable environment as far as temperature. The home is well equipped with everything one might need on vacation and fairly easy to access being right off the main road. The casita was occupied while we stayed and we had a lovely time meeting the couple there. I think it is important to note that the two homes are extremely close and share the small pool, was absolutely not a problem for us but something to be aware of. We walked to the dock almost daily. The dock was well maintained and a great place to relax, I don't recommend hanging out in the sand/beach as the bugs are nasty little things, and you don't see them til they've eaten! We were slightly disappointed about the walk to the beach but nonetheless it was an easy 5 minute walk to get to the water. HIRE BRITTANY TO COOK FOR YOU, HANDS DOWN THE BEST MEAL WE HAD WAS PROVIDED IN OUR HOME (ARRANGED BY HOST)! Communication with the host was FANTASTIC! She was very responsive prior to and during our trip!!

The Casa is a perfect place for a group of 6

This is our second year staying at the Cervantes Casa and it has been a perfect location for our vacation. The house is well maintained by Kerry the local property manager, and Leeandra the house keeper. Kerry is only a phone call away if you need anything and he is very responsive. It's only a $3 taxi ride for two to west end or the same to Eldon's to grocery shop in Coxen Hole. The private dock with fresh water shower will take you out to the coral reef at the famous spooky channel for some world class snorkeling just a 5 minute swim away. We have only been back for 3 days and we have already booked our 2019 stay at the same place. It's far enough away from the crowds to provide isolation, but a short ride to the bars, restaurants, etc if you need the action. The private pool with fresh water is a real plus. Try it, you will love it.

Clean, well managed, friensly and helpful owners

Roatan is a wonderful Island! Our accomodations were great. Carrie was the property manager and he and his sons took good care of us. Although it took a couple of days, we did get a local cell to make local calls. We had a couple of problems but were promptly taken care of. Rental was clean and owner ensured there were extra air mattresses for the kids. The dock was lovely . We used it a lot. The water was choppy so we didnt get to snorkel there though.. We were 10 minutes from the town of West End which was a great spot. We found a great source for excursions there. JC Island Adventures. He was awesome. Debbie, the owner, also arranged a chef to come a couple of nights. Her name was Britteny. She was sweet and served amazing local food. All in all a great trip!

Wonderful vacation home!

We are 3 Canadian couple travelling together and this property was perfect for us - one couple had the casita. The home is well equipped and the small pool delightful. The dock is just a short walk away and the reef is a good swim away. We enjoyed our stay.

Perfect getaway

Filthy and run down

Travellers beware: We were unlucky to have booked this property in December through another website. Not only was it filthy beyond any hours of cleaning, shower courtains stained with fungus, ghekko excrement, an unusuable toilette, extremely dirty kitchen and appliances, but the customer service from the property manager was non-existent and the owner , when faced with our legitimate complaints was defensive, borderline agressive and offered no solution other than welcoming us to leave the property immediately over New Year. In the best case scenario, the property needs a lot of work to have it look as it once might have been. Take responsibility for what you advertise. We have a lot of documented evidence of the veracity and accuracy of the content of this review.

"In response to the above review, we strongly disagree and appose her unkind and very blatant and inaccurate description of our property, especially coming from someone who did not book reservations through this site. The recent photos taken of our property less than 30 days prior to this posting strongly contradict any of these false accusations and negative descriptions as this person has posted. In the 12 years we have owned our properties on Roatan Island and the reviews that have been posted on VRBO, HomeAway and this website shortly before and immediately after her arrival as well as our entire 12 years, describe a far different outlook than those which this person has described. We are in utter amazement that such a posting can be published by just anyone using this website service without being thoroughly investigated and without having booked through them. If she booked this property on Airbnb, why did she not leave this review on their site? Accurate information and reviews of our property may be seen using this website, VRBO and HomeAway. You will see that our ratings are EXCELLENT and most are 5 star ratings. The inflammatory comments directed at our property manager's character is utterly untrue and inaccurate and can be substantiated in many of the previous posted reviews. His willingness to assist any guest day or night 7 days a week has always been one of our biggest assets." If you read the most recent reviews that were just posted after this person left you will get a more accurate description of this beautiful property!!

Super gorgeous,comfortable and spacious.

Perfect location.Fifteen minutes from airport,ten minutes from grocery store.Not too close to tourist area,but close enough to get there within minutes.Lovely restaurant across the street called Hostal La Paella,another fantastic one a wee bit further called Bambu.Spent a couple hours at the Carambola Botanical Gardens which I highly recommend.Ten dollars a person,money well spent.House is two minutes away from the Caribbean Sea,which we had access to a 400 ft dock to admire the sunset nightly.What a gorgeous place!

The casita is lovely and just as it is described. Kerry, the property manager, was very responsive to our needs and both welcoming and helpful. It was a relaxing, clean, tranquil place to spend a week! Debbie responded quickly to any questions we had and truly made us feel welcome in her home. While not beach front, the view of the ocean and veranda make up for that and the short walk to the beach is refreshing. Great place for couples or a family to stay in Roatan!

We enjoyed our stay ay the Casita Cervantes, very comfortable, with beautiful views and there is always a breeze that cools the house. It was very pleasant to relax at the balconies and pool. It was nice that is well equipped

Serene Gem

A wonderful experience!. We truly enjoyed our first time outside of an all-inclusive. The casita was equipped with everything we needed - it was clean, bug free, hot showers and the bed was very comfortable. The pool and grounds are very well maintained and it is a short walk to the beach and dock. Snorkelling was AMAZING right off the dock very close to the reef and Spooky Channel. Kerry (Property Manager) ensured we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Relax, relax, relax

Great house that fit our needs perfectly. We rented both the Casa and the Casita for the week. Coffee on the deck in the mornings, spend the days at the beach or exploring the mangroves, cocktails and relaxing by the pool in the evening before and after dinner. The house is very well appointed, nice furnishings, comfortable beds. I would recommend this house to a family or a group of couples. Plenty of room to spread out! Kerry, the caretaker, was very helpful and gave us some great hints for local places to eat and visit. Close enough to West Bay that we drove there almost daily. Great snorkeling!

This property is 1.5 acres of lush Roatan landscape with Banana trees, Papaya trees and all sorts of tropical flowers. The swimming pool was one of the first on the Island and it has a beautiful Palapa table to stay out of the sun. There is also a Casita that you can use if your party is larger or you are traveling with a second family.
