Cheerful Wishes is centrally located in Florence, Alabama. You will have the entire home to yourself during your stay. It’s less than a mile from the new Florence Alliance Cancer Center, Cracker Barrel, TJ Maxx, and many restaurants/ stores. We have internet, standard cable, and Netflix. There is a double carport for easy parking. There are two queen beds, one twin, and a pull out couch.

We had a great stay. The coffee maker and a chair was broke, and the couch was not comfortable but everything else was great.

We truly enjoyed our stay, our stay was five days and 4 nights we actually kept ourselves busy by playing games or using the tv. There was lots of bed space.

Perfect for us

The house suited our purposes perfectly! Everything we needed was close by. The house was clean and neat and I wish we’d had more time to enjoy the fire pit On a side note, the key box was the easiest I’ve ever used. I managed to get into on the first try!

SHORT STAY

Neighborhood was ok that I could tell by the length of time we were there; we didn't arrive until 11:30 that night. Only one TV in the house of 3 bedroom and we thought that it was clean until we seen bed bugs in two of the beds and in the bathroom.

Keep an eye!

I liked the location and the house was fine for what I needed. There were a couple things that were minor to deal with but having found out that there were cockroaches was disgusting. Who know what food that got into that I left on the counter. The manager just simply said they rely on the local exterminator to deal with it. So I would have thought a little compensation would be inline but no. I have pictures and a couple videos to prove it. I would not stay again.

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE in every sense of the word!!! Upon arrival at the property the side door was only locked by the bottom lock as the dead bolt would/could not lock! BIG SECURITY ISSUE as the door could have easily have been kicked in. But it didn’t end there as we only found out a bit later it would not lock. The bathroom tub and shower curtain were both stained and grimy looking (we did take pictures and videos), there was a huge stain on the living room ceiling and the closets had huge cinder blocks inside of them with flimsy rods making them virtually unusable to hang special dresses we had for the occasion for which we were there. There were also dirty pillows in the closets and stained lamp shades. Additionally the home had a mildew type smell. And to top it off I couldn’t get the front door to open! I tried contacting the host but never got an answer. (Even when contacting her prior to the stay I had to get Vrbo to contact her before she would answer me.)We left and stayed at a hotel. Never got any communication from the host directly and she nor Vrbo will refund me for this horrible property despite having proof of EVERYTHING! Sorry but I’d suggest staying at a motel 6 instead of wasting your money here!

Very convenient when towing a boat as we were able to back in to the carport and charge the boat as well as work on getting things setup for the next morning of fishing out of the weather and in a lit area…
