When you're done with the crowds and the hustle and bustle on the Homer Spit and in town, you can make your way to the Otter Stop Inn, a warm and welcoming place for you and your family to relax while taking in the beautiful views of Kachemak Bay, the Kenai Mts, and four glaciers from every window! Along with all of the other comforts of home, you'll enjoy the convenience of a washer and dryer right in your unit! There's a brand new full kitchen with a full size refrigerator, stove, and microwave that offers convenience and a cost-saving option vs dining out.

The entry to the BnB is private as is the entire space!

The Otter Stop Inn is a great home away from home. The unit really comfortable, nicely furnished and well stocked. The views are breathtaking with glaciers right across the bay. We even saw a moose and her calf walk up the road past us.

Beautiful place and view in Homer

Stayed here for 4 days while visiting Homer. Incredible home with better views. I will say when we first pulled up,I was concerned about the property being shared with the owner. Absolutely no need for concern. Owners are there if you need them and communication is excellent but otherwise you never would know they are there. Excellent place for a couple. Queen bed is very comfortable with black out curtains help you get some rest in the midnight sun. Kitchen is great if you choose to cook on vacation which I enjoy. First and foremost, the vent house is actually vented to the outside! Huge deal if you’ve ever set off a smoke detector at a property while cooking because of poor ventilation. Well appointed with the equipment you need to prepare a meal. Most enjoyed (and miss) the view while drinking morning coffee or evening cocktail. It is a few miles from downtown Homer but very convenient and actually one of the main streets as it heads out of town. Grocery store, restaurants, gas station and the Spit all just minutes away. And do yourself a favor and drive a little further down the road to see great views of the mountains and glaciers

Great stay at Otter Stop

We enjoyed our stay in Homer. Place was great, clean and had everything we needed. Would absolutely recommend a stay here.

Property was just as described. We enjoyed our stay. Owners were very accommodating, and kind. Property was well taken care of and extremely clean.

Staff lodging

We rented the property for our staff, who were in town catering a wedding. I heard nothing that weekend, which is exactly what i wanted. If they're already talking to me about it at check in something is wrong. Not a peep unter they were heading home and asking me to leave a nice review.

Wonderful time

Dave and Pam are wonderful hosts. Our VRBO was nice and clean, we had everything that we needed and more. The neighborhood was quiet and there were moose that came by in the mornings and evenings
