Great family trip

Our family had a wonderful time hanging out, hot tubbing, playing pool, and games. It’s a wonderful property.

Great Stay!

We had a great time. The property was well stocked with the items they provided. We had a blast fishing and hanging out on the decks and in the hot tub. The property was quiet and it was fun to watch the deer. The owner was super responsive to any questions we had and made us a priority. I would recommend this property!

Beautiful cabin

Cabin was big, clean and spacious the only thing is that the living room sofa was outdated and not comfortable, very old, the dinning table was sinking in. The host was very nice and responsive. Nice space for family.

Best cabin I’ve stayed in!!

This property was exactly as described and it was beautiful! My friends and I loved it and had just the best time! We all agreed it was the nicest cabin we’ve stayed at and would 100% come back again! Megh was wonderful, such great communication and so accommodating of us!

Summer Vacation

The house is beautiful. I cannot complain. Lots of space for a family of 11 . The best part was the decks, private balcony on the top floor , game room and the hot tub. The neighborhood was so peaceful and the view was awesome. This house is a great place if you just want to relax and enjoy.

Vacation

We took the family here for vacation. The house was very nice and clean. The hot tub was a big deal to the kids. The down stairs game room kept the boys busy the whole time we were there. The view was great for coffee in the morning and drinks at night. The grill was great for burgers and dogs. The kitchen had plenty of dishes and a nice coffee pot. Would def stay here again!!

February Break Weekend

The weekend at the Aviary was a blast. There was ample space at the property to hangout and relax with friends. Whether you are chilling in the hot-tub or star gazing at night, a great time is sure to ensue. I stress the amount of stars you can see past 10 P.M. I have been around the world and have seen many different starscapes, but at the Aviary it is a full 180 degree spectrum of lights in the sky.

Property’s furnishings are showering wear and tear Lighting in living/dining are is almost non existent. Have to depend on lighting of kitchen Once that is taken care off I can recommend this property

Lovely host

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. the host was very communicative and easy to work with. The only complaint we had was with some of the amenities provided by the host in the listing. There wasn't any chalk for the pool table, all the darts for the dart board were broken and we could not get all of the games to work on the arcade. We did reach out to the host, and she so graciously sent the house manager over with supplies to try and correct the issues we were experiencing. However, the darts that were brought were still not the correct ones so we could not partake in those and after a detailed explanation of how the arcade works, we still could not get all of the games to work. We were just a little bummed about the amenities, but kids still managed to enjoy themselves.

Hi Ashley, Sorry the new darts weren’t up to your standards. We buy the soft tip darts instead of the steel tips for the safety of our guests, especially since the game room often is enjoyed by children. While many are still able to use the pool table without chalk, you made it clear it was an absolute necessity for you in order to enjoy the pool table at all. We had new chalk delivered to you along with the new darts so you could play to your standards. If we had known you were still unhappy with the darts and chalk, we would have made it right. When I responded with instruction and questions on how you were operating the arcade, a response was not received from you. Otherwise, I would have been more than happy to walk you through step by step as I did to turn on the outdoor fire pit which was misunderstood to be broken. I tried my best to accommodate your needs - you drove a car over the hedges and parked on the landscaping to pull an extension cord through the window to charge your vehicles despite the house rules of keeping vehicles parked on the driveways. I always try to be flexible with my guests as I know different guests have different needs but I do apologize that your stay wasn’t a 5 star one. I’d love to have you back another time to make things right if you’d be open to it. Thanks, Megh

Relaxing stay

I have to say this was the best vacation we’ve had. The cabin had enough space for the 4 of us. It was welcoming, clean, decorated nice and very peaceful. It has everything WE needed. The wrap around deck was my favorite. There is a nice fire pit we enjoyed sitting around at night. If you like looking at the stars this is the cabin for you. It is beautiful at night! But the most important part for me was the host Megh. 5 🌟 She was the best. She kept in touch to ensure that we didn’t have any problems and had everything we needed. She seemed very caring. She even responded in a timely manner. How often do you find that? So if you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful, star gazing, spacious cabin to just get away to hit that reset button. This is the place. On top of that it has a great host. We are already planning our return! Thank you Megh for everything we hope to return VERY soon!!😀

We really enjoyed staying at your home. It was the perfect size and location for everything that we had planned for this trip. We don't get a chance to spend time with all of our kids and grandkids at one time much. This was definitely the right place and we will consider it again for future travel. Thank you again.

Retreat

We stayed at the property for several days with our church youth group. Location is excellent and property was exactly as shown. We would definitely consider staying at this property again.

Perfect setting for relaxing!

Spent Mothers Day Weekend at this gem and it was so perfect for just relaxing and doing nothing. Beautiful scenery and a quiet setting and the house was so accommodating. Will definitely stay here again. Thanks so much Megh!

Wonderful

We had a wonderful stay. The house is in a great location. It is near downtown blue ridge and close to a great horse back riding place. The owner was so great about communicating and answered questions so quickly.

Dream cabin!

Since finding this listing it has been great experience, all of the outside seatings were just perfect and so much heaters everywhere we thoroughly enjoyed the place!
