Very nice house. Certainly needed the A/C. House could use a better information about the area (binder) Local insight would have been nice.

Great place and location

The house was very nice, clean, and well situated. You're in walking distance to the Uvita Waterfall, Gastropub, and the Uvita Beer Garden and just a short drive to the beaches (Uvita Beach and Playa Hermosa). This was my first time in Costa Rica and when I come back, I would definitely stay here again.

Great price for a two bedroom two bath

The property is beautiful, and well kept. The place was super comfortable. Recommended to the host that she supply more than one bath towel per person and maybe bath mats for slippery marble floors but all in all we were more than fine and she was very accessible and accomodating.

Nice clean house with well equipped kitchen with plenty of electrical outlets. Would like to see a toaster added. Main bedroom could do with bed side lighting and stands for luggage since there are no closets. Second bedroom was not used but offered plenty of bedspace. We had a great stay in Uvita.

Perfect spot to visit Uvita and Dominical

This is a very modern and clean house located just minutes from The Whale's Tail beach and 20 min from Dominical. We were happy with the accommodations. The only thing that made it a little uncomfortable was the lack of air conditioning in the main living area (kitchen and living room). The bedrooms had AC, however, so we hung out in them a lot and tried to do our cooking in the early morning or late evening. Beds were comfortable and kitchen was nicely stocked. The property could use a toaster oven since there is no oven to bake in (just a stove top) and a blender would be helpful. There is a waterfall within walking distance in which you can slide into the water. The Indomitos Bar/Cafe is within walking distance and has great, healthy food.

Superficially nice

Firstly when the advert says "8 minutes to the beach" and "close to the beach," it means by car (with no traffic). It is over an hours walk to the beach. Not ideal when that was our reason for picking it. It's a clean, well presented apartment with hob, fridge, rice cooker and microwave. There is air conditioning in the bedrooms only, which makes the living room very uncomfortable to spend time in at points. It's not really set up for long term stays as we were only given 4 towels for the 4 of us (no hand towels) and no way of washing them. There are also no wardrobes. In the kids bedroom there is just the bunk bed, no drawers or anything, so you have to put clothes in the drawers under the sink in the bathroom. Unfortunately on the very first morning my son opened the bottom drawer and the unit came off the wall, onto his leg. We messaged the owner who said to leave it- it would be fine. So we had to shut that bathroom floor for the whole of the stay and the kids had to use the ensuite in our bedroom even at night, which wasn't ideal. It was really unsafe and seeing how the sink unit was hung with only a few dowels and screws made us doubt the integrity of everything in the place. There was a sheet of rules in the living room hut nothing useful like emergency contacts or how rubbish/trash/garbage collection worked. The smart TV was good and the beds were comfy. For one night you'd be fine and comfortable. We made a mistake with our checkout date and the owner was very patient and understanding. Thank you and apologies again. She sent her cousin round to collect the money for the extra night we thought we had booked.

This is the cleanest property that we have stayed in. The host is super attentive and responsive. The amenities are clean and high quality. I would stay here again.

The hostess was attentive and helpful. House pleasant and clean. 12 minutes easy walk to downtown Uvita.
