Great unit and location - easy to access lots of activities

The property had lots of beach equipment and kitchen equipment - spacious bedrooms and living area - really enjoyed the lanai, the breezes flowing through the unit and view and sound of the water - only suggestion is that the carpet needs to be updated - thanks!!

Maui can’t get better

We have come back to this complex repeatedly and love it. We love sitting on the deck and watching the water, whales, turtles. The sunsets are amazing. The condo is just the right size for two couples. Great location with great views of both Lanai and Molokai.

We enjoyed our stay at Hololani! The location was great and the views were incredible. We appreciated the beach chairs, umbrella, toys, etc. The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms were spacious - it was plenty of space for the 4 of us to spread out. Wish the the doors to the bedrooms were a little more private - the doors were slatted, which made it feel like there wasn’t much separation from the main living area.

Perfect Long Weekend

We only live on the other side in Wailuku, but we rented this property to take a long weekend at the beach over Labor Day. It was absolutely perfect. Our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about the view and little ones loved the pool (big kids too!). Only had 2 occasions to interact with the staff, but they were helpful and kind. Truly made it a wonderful trip. We will rent again.

Great condo with beautiful views

Very grateful for beach chairs, umbrella, pool noodles, and beach towels. New appliances and cabinets. The living room carpet needs replacing, very ugly large stains in several areas.

great location but very disappointed with the inaccuracy of the house rules

This is a small and old condominium, but it has a Great location and beautiful view. However, I was really disappointed because a rented this place almost 5 months in advance since it showed it was PET FRIENDLY, but 3 days before my trip I received a text telling me IT WASN’T, so immediately I checked the listing and the info was the same as it was a few months ago but a few hours later they had changed it. It was really RUDE. I live in California and the process to bring a dog to Hawaii is LONG AND VERY EXPENSIVE. At that moment I had no chance to get any refund either any chance to rent another place. However, they ended up accepting since my baby is an ESA.

Gorgeous view - just what you come to Maui for!

Huge rainbows spanned the entire width of the sky over the ocean right in front of the condo on several days. Picture perfect. On a windy day, 14 sailboarders and some kite surfers manned the waves right in front of us. The views are spectacular, the condo is nice and clean, nicely decorated in Hawaiian style, well equipped, and Daniel is super easy to communicate with. It is safe, people are nice, there's an elevator and walkway along the top of the sea berm, and great beaches are 5-10 minutes by car. One of the island's best coffee shops - Hawaiian coffee - is a 3 minute walk in the am. We hope to go back!

Comfortable well equipped condo with an amazing view.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in this comfortable well equipped condo with an amazing view. The condo has everything you need to feel right at home while enjoying all that Maui has to offer. There are plenty of restaurants and markets within walking distance. The beach located directly in front of the complex was calm and safe for our kids to swim-in during our stay. This condo is a good value and a great alternative to staying in a large resort.

Beautiful view, moderate condo

The view from the lanai is beautiful. It is not on a beach. But, the pool is available. Or, you can drive to a beach area. There is not any air conditioning. When there is a good breeze, air conditioning wasn’t needed. The condo is not fancy, but it is very functional and moderately priced compared to the hotels. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment.

Needs a remodel, AC, private doors to bedrooms and a DEEP cleaning

The view and location are fantastic. We just stayed two nights in this condo. I’m writing to say we were pretty disappointed in the condition of the condo.   1.  The washer has mold growing inside of it. I’ll attach pictures. I wasn’t able to do any laundry or start the towels because of it. 2. The carpet in the living room is filthy. Stained and dirty. We didn’t feel comfortable even sitting on the couches. Pictures as well. 3. The condo was clean but it hasn’t had a deep clean in quite awhile. The baseboards have standing dirt on them. 4. The doors need to be replaced. There is ZERO privacy do to the slatted doors. From using the restroom, sleeping, talking or anything else. 5. There needs to be an extension cord on the right side of the bed so guests can charge their phones and have access to a clock(on their phone at least). For the going rate of this condo it is in desperate need of some renovations or at least a deep cleaning. This was not the experience we were looking for.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My husband and I stayed with another couple for 5 nights. We had a wonderful time; the condo was comfortable and well appointed with anything you might need (coffee makers, cookware, beach towels etc.) The location was great for walks or runs in the morning and easy access to major roads to get you all over the island. The condo is on a sea wall, but you can easily walk a couple minutes down the road to get beach access.

Great location during whale season!

The property was great during whale season! We specifically planned our trip around Hawaii for whale season and had booked a whale boat excursion, but had no idea that we would be able to see so many right from our own patio each day! Seriously saw at least a blow hole every 5-10 mins and breaches multiple times a day! Bedrooms are good size but very close to each other and have slate openings in doors. Probably good for air flow (especially since there is no air conditioning) but doesn't allow for much privacy, can't see anything in rooms but can hear everything...keep in mind if traveling with others. Condo complex was small which is nice but can hear everything going on outside in the pool area with windows open. Complex was quiet though after 9pm and throughout the night. Overall great location and great condo..will definitely stay again!

Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this property. The condo itself is beautiful in a fantastic location overlooking the ocean. There are plenty amenities nearby within walking distance or a short drive. I highly recommend staying here!

The place is good, clean. Only issue was the beach in front of the property is under water so not useable. There is a good beach 5 mins away so we were good.

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The whole house cleaning was okay. not too clean. there was no door in toilet and no shower curtain in one of shower. Whenever we took shower, water came from shower and water was on all hallway. No door in toilet was little bit embracing. If I had to use toilet, I had close the door of bed room. In night time it was most disturbing. If I knew there was no door in toilet, I would never reserve this apartment.
