¡Bienvenido a "My Hawaiian Condo" - Unidad Hale Mahina A405!

Hale Mahina (Ha-lay Ma-hee-nah), es una de las propiedades más singulares del lado oeste de Maui.
A solo unos kilómetros de los grandes centros turísticos y de las concurridas playas de Kaanapali, Hale Mahina se encuentra en su propia pequeña playa privada con hermosos jardines y piscina y spa frente al océano.
La propiedad se encuentra a poca distancia de tiendas de comestibles, mercado de agricultores, café, restaurantes y otras comodidades.

La Unidad A405, ubicada en el cuarto piso (superior) (con elevador), es un condominio para no fumadores de dos habitaciones, dos baños con todas las comodidades del hogar. Esta unidad bellamente decorada es de aproximadamente 1.100 pies cuadrados con espacios de vida de planta abierta y techos abuhardillados.

La suite loft de arriba tiene una cama de matrimonio y baño completo. El cuarto de abajo tiene una cama de matrimonio con baño en suite. El sofá en la sala de estar se dobla como una cama de matrimonio para alojar hasta 6 personas.

This condo was perfect for our stay in Kaanapali . The views can’t be beat and the condo was close to many restaurants and shops. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Property is great!

The actual condo is wonderful and has a great location with beautiful scenery. If you have little kids, this may not be the place for you, as the on-site property manager was very difficult and constantly telling our children to be quiet on the pool deck.

The condo is in a great location on the beach in a quiet area. The view is amazing. The condo is very clean and has been updated and decorated nicely. The beds were comfortable. The unit is well stocked with towels, beach towels, beach chairs, beach toys, coolers, games and so much more making our stay more enjoyable. We ate dinner many nights on the lanai and could not get enough of the view and ocean sounds. We saw turtles swimming in the water and enjoyed snorkeling right in front of our unit. We were a family of 4 including a 28 year old and a 13 year old and felt we had enough room in the unit and enough privacy. This condo is a great place to stay for a visit in Maui.

Excellent Experience

We very much enjoyed the property and the condo itself. It was very nice and well supplied. It worked great for our 19 month old Grand Son. Lots of included amenities. Would gladly stay again for sure.

Location Is Everything

This condo is a perfect location for us. Ocean front!! The inside of the condo has been updated. It is clean and has been well maintained. The condo is well stocked with what you would need. Beth is easy to communicate with. I highly recommend staying here.

Paradise!

This is the most incredible place! We had the time of our life. All Beth’s recommendations were amazing- the snorkel store, farmers market and deli, the suggested beaches, and walks. All in, this was our best family vacation ever! Many thanks for John and Beth’s hospitality and for offering your place so we can make such amazing memories.

Lovely pool area and condo

Good sized space for 4 adults, as long as you're okay with lack of complete walls. The upstairs "room" is a loft and the main floor room has an open wall to the rest of the unit. Kitchen was well-stocked and it was very easy to make our meals while we stayed. We really loved the pool area with easy access to the beach. I could've not left the property and spent every day of our 1 week vacation there. Our lanai was a beautiful spot to eat dinner every night with the sunset. Easy enough proximity into Lahaina. No AC, but lots of fans around to help keep it temperate during the day.

Excellent condo

We had a wonderful stay in Maui at this condo. Everything was as advertised in the listing. The beach and pool/hot tub area is great. Small and personable, everyone was friendly. Saw lots of whales. The condo had little extras in case you forgot something, like bandaids:)

Everything you want

This property was spacious, updated, well-located and had everything you need. Whale-watching right from the lanai on the top level was amazing. Of course we did adventure, but you don’t even really have to go anywhere to enjoy your holiday from Hale Mahina. Just perfect! Mahalo!

Turtle highway!!!!

Property was better than advertised! They have thought of everything, we have never been to a better equipped rental. The condo was immaculately clean and the view from the lanai was spectacular. We were treated to rainbows over Molokai, the sound of ocean waves crashing outside our door every night and too many sea turtles cruising the shore to count. Beth was very helpful with communications and we couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. Thank you for a great stay! Mahalo!!!

Amazing condo!!

Amazing property!! Exactly like the description. The condo was very clean and the amenities are top notch. I really appreciate that there were beach towels, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and more. The view is amazing. I can’t think of one bad thing about this place!! The owners are very easy to communicate with and the check in process was easy! I loved that there was access to the pool and beach. The only sad part was that we had to go home. I highly recommend this condo. Such a hidden gem!!

Beautiful and Relaxing

Beth's place is just exactly as described and pictured. The elevator and flooring had me thinking "Oh no, this is not good". so that part could really use some TLC. When we opened the door and walked in, it was awesome!! Clean, updated, the view and beach front is exactly what you want for a relaxing vacation. I would have been happy to just stay there and only do a few store runs and a little sight seeing. After all that's why we went there. Beth has everything you can imagine and need in the complete condo. Awesome place!!

Spectacular!

We searched several islands and nothing ever felt like the place or vibe we were looking for from being outdated, too expensive, or not beachfront. This gem was the last one we found and it was a blessing. You can hear the waves from every room! Sea turtles greeted us every day, and you can see the Humpback whales out in the distance showing off for you. Great location and walking distance to anything you need. Don't be surprised to be greeted with double rainbows from the front of the condo at times! Felt like home with the Hawaiian vibe we were looking for - thank you! Oh and the owners are great. Everything is so easy from communication to anticipating your needs!

Incredible ocean front views, private beach, whale watching from the lanai

We loved this condo! Really a perfect location, and it has what amounts to a private beach out front, along with some nice grassy areas. Perfect for lounging, sunning. We actually saw whales breaching from the beach (not right off shore of course, but very visible). Kudos for the well-outfitted kitchen, with good quality implements and appliances. The main room opens up to the lanai and the million dollar view. Main bed is in a big loft above kitchen, there are fans and a couple of portable a/c units to keep it cool. Second room is at the back and there is the only issue - the traffic noise is quite loud, although it usually lightens up by 11 pm or so. Snorkeling is pretty darn good right off the beach - I covered a lot of area in the water, but was rewarded with eels, many fish, and even a sting ray. Not to mention the turtles, every day, right there. Try snorkeling off to the left, I found that to have higher concentration of fish on some days. The place is not too far from some good food - from high-end sushi at Sansei (about 10 min north), to the great local favorites Fish Market, and Okazuya (5 min south) - and of course you can get to any of the big resorts and Lahaina (I'm not a particular fan of that touristy town...). Reasonable drive to the blowhole and olivine pools, other sights on the north end. Couple of hours to Haleakela, and a bit more to Hana. Overall a wonderful place, would definitely stay there again!

Heaven

Go see for yourself! And enjoy a slice of Heaven on Earth. The condo is perfect; clean, well equipped, a view you can’t get enough of, and located in the midst of anything Hawaiian-style you may want. I’ve stayed at Hale Mahina over 6 times and this is the best condo yet. The only downside is there seems to be new management of the HOA and grounds since Wonderful Larry retired. The landscaping seemed a bit sad, where once a beautiful flower garden flourished, and while we were there a sign was posted stating “no children under 14 allowed in the hot tub.” In addition, a lovely young family staying in the building, with two children were apparently flagged and cited as having unruly children in the common areas. I saw this family every day and the children (under 5) were just fine and well attended by their very friendly and well behaved parents. I did not witness a single action that warranted any kind of reprimand. Talking with other guests they too felt a shift in the overall friendliness and warmth of the current homeowners. There was a rather large group of actual condo owners at this time and they were a complaining bunch. As a result of these actions I describe two different couples are not bringing their families next year. One couple had intended to rent three condos. That is a lot of business to lose. It is a shame to see a place once so warm and welcoming lose its appeal because of a bunch of grouchy retirees. I say all this with much Aloha for Hale Mahina.

Not a premium penthouse, but nice enough.

We were satisfied with the property, and it was clean and the owners were very responsive. But in no way should this be described as a penthouse, or a premium property. The location is excellent! Right on the ocean, and located in the part of Maui that is the best place to stay, IMO. The condo was clean and well stocked. The owners go to great lengths to make sure guests have the extras needed to enjoy their vacation. In all, our experience was very good. However, I do think it is important to give reasonable and accurate reviews, and there are several reasons why I don’t consider this premium. First, this is an older unit with older appliances and furnishings. The downstairs bedroom mattress was, IMO, FAR too soft. I slept upstairs and the mattress was acceptable, but not premium in any way. The unit has no AC, which is disclosed. Not a problem for us in early May, and I suspect it’s fine year round. But it can get a little warm. The breeze is amazing, and sleeping to the sounds of the ocean was wonderful. The complex only allows smoking in the parking lot. There are a few chairs there, but it seems that they could arrange the far North part of the beach to allow guests to enjoy a cigar there in the evening. Could be a pro or a con, depending on the individual. Overall our stay was nice, and I would recommend the unit for most folks. But I would think most would agree that the only thing premium is the location, and the thoughtfulness and attention given by owner
