Wonderful Anniversary getaway

This was such a beautiful serene place to stay. We loved the tranquility and the shower is amazing. Will definitely be back.

This was the perfect weekend retreat. We were here for our son’s graduation from basic training. It is such a beautiful home with a stunning view. We loved sitting on the deck playing music, especially at night. We were able to bring our dogs which was great. They loved it as well. Nice gated area that is safe. We played games at the dining room table overlooking the lake. It was a great weekend with family. 10/10 would recommend. It is an easy 45 minute drive to fort benning. FYI.

Weekend Getaway

We were visiting for our sons sectional track meet but got a wonderful weekend getaway in the process!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable, relaxing, quiet, peaceful, and fun! Enjoyed plenty of quiet time and got in a little fishing!! Great stay!!

Perfect for all, including the fisherman.

Heather is great to work with and insured the whole experience was great. This was a fishing trip for me and the boat launch and covered boat slip was fantastic. The house was great and super clean.

Graduation Stay

We stayed here for our daughter's graduation in Auburn. Great location and setting. The house was perfect for our stay! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the weekend. Heather (the owner) made sure we got in okay and were all set. I would highly recommend this location!

Family Time and Anniversary.

We spent 3 nights and enjoyed the house and lake! The Grandkids got to fish and kayak! We loved eating on the sun porch with the lake view. Heather was amazing and informative.

Remote Getaway

Great place for some quiet R and R, a homey lakeside retreat. Great kitchen and open concept living space to hang out as a family. Master bedroom/bathroom, WOW. Our boys enjoyed fishing from the dock. The fenced yard was great for our dog.

Perfect location, great accommodations

We loved staying here. The home was well kept and had everything we needed. There was plenty of room for everyone. The view of the lake was perfect. It was so nice playing in the outside area with our son. Neighbors were friendly. Nearby restaurants were great! Fire places heated up quickly which was nice since it was cold for these Floridians. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay!

My family and I loved our stay at this cozy lake house. It had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space to spread out but it was still cozy for family time. We especially enjoyed the dining area with its beautiful lake view. The master bathroom's shower and jacuzzi were amazing! The fenced area for our pets was a great bonus. We appreciated the privacy and the backyard with its private boat ramp and dock. We spent our time fishing and kayaking. Heather was an excellent host, and we highly recommend this place. We can't wait to come back!

Lakeside Retreat

The weather was crazy, but, the stay was great! Wonderful accommodations with beautiful view. We enjoyed fishing off of the dock, once the weather calmed down. Our son & grandkids had a great time in the kayaks. The big shower was a hit with everyone. (one at a time, lol) Heather is a fantastic hostess. We highly recommend this relaxing lakeside retreat!

Great find- Just as listed and more

Great Lake house experience. Though I had no issues, the host still reached out to ensure our satisfaction and provided some great local tips. The master suite is out of this world, we had to negotiate who got to use the shower. It’s a beautiful setting on the lake. In addition to standard amenities, the host had generously provided special treats that really made the experience great. We look forward to bringing family back to this home.

Amazing Lake Trip

This house is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. We had a long weekend with my best friend of 25 years and her family. There were 4 adults and 4 kids, which this house accommodated us perfectly. The kids loved the kayaks and jumping off the dock. They even enjoyed a bathroom party in the huge shower and tub in the master! Being able to bring our two dogs was an added bonus! Heather was so responsive and helped us find a boat rental as well. We definitely want to come back! Heather, thank you for sharing your home with us. It was a much needed time together that we enjoyed throughly!

A Perfect Family GetawayOur stay at this VRBO was absolutely wonderful! The home was exceptionally well stocked with everything you could possibly need — from a wide selection of spices to extra tissue paper and thoughtful amenities throughout. Each room was beautifully decorated and featured very comfortable beds, while the master suite was a true showstopper with its cozy seating area, luxurious steam shower, and relaxing jacuzzi tub. The setting was peaceful and serene, and the immaculate grounds made it easy to unwind.Our family, ranging in age from 20 to 73, loved all the activities available — kayaking, paddle boarding, and fishing — and the private boat ramp was a fantastic bonus. The nearby DG Market and convenience store were very handy, and the 35–40 minute drive to Auburn each day was easy and scenic. Overall, this property exceeded every expectation and made for the perfect family retreat. We can’t wait to return!

Terrific lake house

Booked to stay during Auburn Family weekend. A bit of a drive to campus, but with planning we did just fine. All agreed it was worth being off the beaten path as we enjoyed a lake day :-)

Better than the pictures!

This place is amazing! We had a blast for my dad’s 60th birthday. The two out of town families stayed at the lake, while the other families drove in. It’s right between Auburn and Columbus so it was perfect for us as we had family coming from both sides. With all the cousins we had 21 people there for the birthday party, and we didn’t feel too cramped! We also loved the fishing and kayaks. I really can’t say enough about how perfect this place was. The Country Market was also pretty well stocked with essentials!
