¡Especial! Bañera de hidromasaje privada en la cubierta superior: a pie de Town-Soul Pad

Escápese a Sun Valley y este refugio de almas gemelas con carácter. Ubicado cerca de un parque, por lo que es tranquilo (¡los pájaros cantan incluso en invierno!), pero a poca distancia de la ciudad. Hermosos nuevos pisos de madera de arce, encimeras de granito, acentuados con arte y tesoros de más de 20 años de trotamundos.

No hay nada mejor que su propio jacuzzi privado en la cubierta superior, justo al lado del dormitorio principal. Tus túnicas blancas te están esperando. Puedes ver la vía láctea y los espectáculos de fuegos artificiales de Sun Valley. ¿Cuándo fue la última vez que dormiste en una cama de agua? Sin embargo, esta no es la cama de agua de su universidad, ya que tiene deflectores sin ondas y un colchón de flotación de soporte en la parte superior, y sábanas de algodón egipcio de 500 ct. Cálido y cómodo en invierno, y tan cómodo que no podrá salir por la mañana.

Location, Vibes and All You Need

We had an amazing time at the Soul Pad. The space has the kind of style and detail you’d expect from a boutique hotel in Tulum or Phuket—warm, thoughtfully decorated, and full of personality. It’s in a perfect spot: walking distance to downtown Ketchum for restaurants, coffee, and shops, but crucially on the north side of town, so when you head out to the lakes or trailheads, you’re immediately on your way with no traffic headaches.Unlike a lot of vacation rentals, you can tell someone actually lives here—the knives are sharp, the pans work, and the water pressure is great for a post-adventure shower.We’d come back in a heartbeat—this place is a gem.

Fantastic!

This was our second month long stay in Sun Valley and it was fantastic. The host was super and very responsive. Her lovely condo was extremely clean and had everything we could possibly want. Luxury towels, excellent kitchen supplies and you can’t beat the location. Walking distance to the bus. The best part—a hot tub right outside your bedroom door. Highly recommend

An idyllic five week stay

Our stay was fabulous. The condo is well-appointed, quiet, unique, and in a great location for walking to downtown. Communication with Thia was excellent. We were able to work remotely, and then reach spectacular trails in under half an hour. The hiking to remote alpine lakes was some of the best of our lives. Hard to beat the Ketchum lifestyle in the summer!

True to its name

The soul pad is a cumulation of beautiful travel artifacts and tells the story of Thea’s life. This is not your normal boring VRBO. It is cozy, comfortable and has everything you may need (and more). This was our first experience sleeping on a water bed… and don’t know if we’d do that again, but everything else was amazing! Thank you Thea for being flexible and being very easy to communicate with!!

Winner out of 100+ home rentals!

The last night, one of our travel buddies said that Thia's place was the nicest place they'd rented during work travel. I had thought the same thing, so I scrolled through all my AirB history. Concur! Thia's collections, all her thoughtful extras, the home community and location are superb. We were greeting by energetic and inspiring Thia, who beyond all the lovely things posted, graced the home with excellent fresh local K&K coffee, photo books detailing her amazing travels, a perky gerber daisy, magnetic word games and others, a filled window bird feeder for entertainment while lounging on the sofa, ridiculously cozy fuzzy pillow shams that also served as pet substitutes--so many treats and so much help! Thanks, Thia!!!!!!!

Great Experience

The Soul Pad is right in the heart of everything! We hardly ever drove: walked and took the (free) bus service. Thia is a wonderful person and a wonderful host. We enjoyed our stay!

Beautiful home and location

Thia is such a generous host! Left us all the ingredients for cookie baking - from a local mix to the egg and butter. So thoughtful. Her home is like a curated museum full of beautiful art and items from around the world. The location was perfect - walking distance to good food, river, running paths. The hot tub was a great amenity and the waterbed was awesome. The kitchen is so well stocked - all the spices and pans, oil, you need to cook. I’d highly recommend the stay if you need something in Ketchum.

Zen Retreat

The soul pad was awesome! Thia was an amazing host and so fast at responding if we needed anything. It felt like our own private zen retreat. Thia has made the soul pad feel like a home away from home. It is so cozy and relaxing and with all her special touches, you really don't need to do anything except enjoy and relax. The water bed upstairs was so comfortable. The upstairs master felt like our own private retreat. Thia has a great welcome packet with tons of information on the town. The location is perfect as it's just a short walk into town to shops and restaurants and not far at all from the lifts. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip to Sun Valley. Highly recommend. Thank you, Thia!

Great spot in ketchum

The space worked perfectly for our family of four. The hot tub was a huge perk. Can’t beat the location - access to park, town, Y, and mountain. Thia was an excellent host - lots of thoughtful touches like robes and cozy bedding. She was always available and easy to communicate with. We’d love to stay here again. Highly recommend!

Overall a Nice Pad

We were in Ketchum to alpine and cross country ski and did so each of our four days in town. The Soul Pad is quite cozy. It is well adorned and mostly up to date, although a good detailed dusting would help matters. We weren't too fond of the water bed, as it takes some tactical effort to get out of and our aging backs rebelled some. Overall though we had a very comfortable stay. The private hot tub made a difference!

A Hideaway Haven During Our Vacation

Our week at the Soul Pad was delightful, comfortable and uniquely relaxing. The thoughtful details in the decorating made our stay an exploration in world travel, with my young daughters fascinated by the many cool items Thia has collected in her globe trotting. The quality of bedding and towels kept us truly comfortable. Sleeping in a waterbed and having an en suite private outdoor Jacuzzi available at any moment made the stay feel like a true get away - I especially appreciated evening star gazing from the Jacuzzi. The home is well located for accessing the many activities on offer, while also being tucked into a quiet and green part of town. A wonderful place to stay when visiting Sun Valley/Ketchum!

Comfortable and great location.

The Soul Pad was exactly what we were hoping for, comfortable and a great location in a quiet neighborhood. There was a nice spot to relax outside after a day of cycling and a covered patio to store the bikes. Thia could not have been more accommodating , quick to reply and the special touches to welcome us...flowers on the table, coffee and even a special ipa. We would not hesitate to stay at the Soul Pad again. Thank you Thia!

Fun house

We had a great time staying at the Soul Pad. Our hostess was responsive, accommodating, informative, and gracious. The kitchen is well appointed so we were able to easily cook the meals or go out as we chose. Loved the Jacuzzi after skiing!

Very cool condo ...

This is a fun, funky condo. Lots of art, lots of culture and abundant character. I was in town for a MTB race and it was the perfect base. Close to downtown, close to the mountains, very close if you're there to ski. I highly recommend it for anyone that is looking for a something out of the ordinary. This is not a bland, cookie cutter condo. If you want the standard boring IKEA furniture populated condo and sameness as your neighbors then you might want to look else where. If you want an excellent host, a cool place to relax and chill this is the place.

Perfect Vacation

Spent a week at the soul pad with my girlfriend... soon to be wife and my best friend. We had a great time relaxing, skiing, and cooking for a week which was exactly what we needed. My best friend and I love to cook so having the full kitchen and all the necessary gadgets and utensils was a huge plus. Relaxed nightly in the hot tub after a day of skiing and location is in a very convenient spot. Super close to downtown and right in the middle of all the skiing access. The condo had every amenity that we could possibly need, including towels specifically for the hot spring that is just a few miles down the road; we took advantage of that. Thia was very helpful in recommending places to visit during our stay and if I am ever in the Sun Valley area again I would definitely stay at her condo again.

We had a blast and the condo was like a home away from home. Close to skiing, the town and the YMCA which our 10 year old loved for swimming. Thia was very helpful and even surprised us with a welcome gift.

Cozy Condo

My husband and I totally enjoyed staying at Thia's place. It is neat and clean and just as advertised. We were a bit concerned that the water bed might not work for us, but as it turned out we slept great and our 50 something backs were happy. Also was great to have the hot tub right off the master BR. We primarily came to Ketchum to mountain bike ride. We were delighted to find that we could ride right from the condo on numerous paths and also access the paved trail. Thia was helpful in giving us restaurant info and checking to see that all was well with our stay. We ate in the condo for many meals, and we found the kitchen to be well stocked. We used the second bedroom for storing gear and the downstairs enclosed patio worked great to store our bikes at night. The parking was right by the condo back door so it was easy to load bikes when we wanted to go to the terrific trails at Galena Lodge. We had a great stay here, and we are looking forward to booking again next fall.

Location, Comfort, Value!

Thia's soul pad was perfect for our recent ski vacation to Sun Valley. Best of all it snowed every day we were there and the powder was amazing. The condo location was close to all three mountain access points and also within easy walking distance to town. The condo itself is very cozy and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and the hot tub was great after skiing. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and the living area was very inviting with its pellet stove. Great porches and plant hooks to dry out wet ski gear Thia was a great host too, providing information and suggestions whenever we asked. The soul pad made for a memorable family ski vacation.

Warm and charming town home in great location

Spent four days at the Soul Pad this fall with my wife and young daughter. We were looking for a location close to town so that we could walk to restaurants and stores in the evening after mountain biking and hiking. The Soul Pad was perfect for this purpose and had a park and playground just around the corner which our daughter loved. Very clean and well taken care of town home with a lot of personality. Lisa went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home while staying there. Very easy to get out of town as well if you are heading north into the Sawtooth Recreational Area and close to ski slopes as well if you come in the winter.

I grew up in California, but I fell in love with Ketchum 20 years ago. Living in a place where there are more stars in the sky than city lights, and you can walk/bike everywhere feeds my soul. I live to ski in powder, and in between enjoy hiking, cross country skiing, paragliding, mountain biking, and rollerblading. I'm a world traveling artist/photographer, and have a photography studio/gallery in town where I show my personal work, called Photos Do Not Bend Gallery. I also shoot weddings, kids, and family portraits. I love hot springs and hot tubs (who doesn't?), live music, and laughing with friends.

The biggest patch of wilderness right out the back door! So many things I can do without ever getting in a car..... mountain biking, snowboarding, hiking, rollerblading on the bike path, summer symphonies & jazz picnics, walk to town, and even close down the bars on a blue moon. Not too many places you can land a para-glider in your back yard. Ketchum has the most amazing sense of community, too. It just takes one person getting hurt, for the whole town to pull together and hold a concert/bake sale/auction to help. I've never seen anything like it.

Enjoy your own private hot tub on the upper deck after skiing! (or maybe with a cup of coffee in the morning?) Great location! Walk to town, but right next door to the large park and the flagship YMCA. Even though it's a condo complex this is a very private unit. Great front yard for the kids to play in the snow, and a private patio on the lower floor for snow entry/gear storage if you like. Beautiful newish hardwood floors, granite counter tops, sharp knives, fluffy towels, 600 ct cotton linens, and oversized down comforters. When was the last time you slept in a waterbed? This ain't no college waterbed, as this has 100% waveless baffles and a support flotation mattress on top, with Egyptian cotton linens. Warm and snuggly in the winter - so comfy you won't be able to get out of bed. Ok, maybe for coffee in the hot tub 20 ft away. Plenty of closets, dressers, shelves and hooks for all your things. Hook your computer or ipod up to the surround sound, or go wireless and stream with my Aiport. Free super duper internet. Apple TV. Phone charging station. My home has treasures from over 20 years of globetrotting - not your run-of-the-mill sun valley rental. I hope you enjoy my home as much as I do.
