This was the third time we have stayed at the cottage. For us it is perfectly located for visiting friends, but here are also some many beautiful sites nearby. Friendly, responsive hosts, and affordable housing, a perfect getaway.

we almost always stay here when we're in the area. The cottage is well located to a lot of trails, Lake George, the outlet mall and other attractions, but far enough away that no matter the season, it's peaceful.The kitchen is well equipped. Both bedrooms are comfortable and there is ample space to just hang out at relax.

The cottage was warm and cozy and had everything we needed. The host was great. Very clean and in a great location about a 20 minute drive to everything from restaurants to shopping.

The place is clean the owner makes sure everything is taken care of and there are no worries. Its quiet close to lake george and on a private road so no unnecessary traffic. Would definitely stay again!

This place is not exactly as pictured. Pictures on site are old. The highway is directly behind house, so sitting on the deck was loud. There were no washcloths for the shower. Used a towel from the bedroom closet and when it got wet smelled bad. When we went to hang our clothes in the closet there were things just thrown in on the floor. The baseboard in the bathroom was rusting and the shower caulk was cracked. Yes it is pet friendly but there is no yard. In the kitchen the drip coffee machine didn’t work and the stove was so dirty that we refused to use it. There were no dish cloths or towels either.

As mentioned in the description we are a traditional Adirondack cabin, but we provide a clean, traditional Adirondack experience and have hosted thousands of happy guests over the years. We've never been asked for washcloths before but would have been happy to send you some. Wish you the best

A relaxing getaway

The cottage was cozy and comfortable, and is located in a very picturesque small village with plenty to do in the area. I highly recommend it to other travelers!

Sweet cottage stay

Such a sweet cottage to stay in. Very comfortable and clean. The weather was super cold when we stayed but the cottage stayed nice and warm. Host provided great accommodations. Easy to get to from the Lake George area. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Great Location

We were in town for a quick 2 nights for a wedding nearby. Cozy little spot that has all that you need. Love the covered porch and proximity to the beach...even though we didn't have time to frequent either.

Wonderful communication with the host. A little hiccup with WiFi, promptly fixed. The road behind the property is a little busy being a main route, and the property isn’t ON the water, but that’s my own fault for not throughly reading, however, very close to beach. The home had everything you could think of or need, the dog was nice and relaxed. We would stay again! Thank you so much to our awesome host!! We appreciated the stay!

We had a wonderful time staying at Austin‘s cabin near Lake Luzerne. He gave us great tips about local places to visit. The cabin is clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect Little Cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay in this very quaint and cozy cottage home and it was perfect for my family of 3. We loved the peace and quiet at night and our only regret is that we didn’t book a longer stay. Our Hosts were very communicative when we had any questions. We will definitely love to book another stay in the future.

We keep the cottage stocked with everything needed for cooking (pans utensils spices, etc), in addition to coffee and everything else needed.
