The owner was attentive and helpful. He responded to our requests. He promptly sent my belongings home that I had left behind. Beautiful lake, cozy fireplace. I would book with this owner again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing, three nights stay with our standard poodle who quickly acclimated himself to the property. The location is great with a beautiful view of the lake from both the porch and the dock.Gary is an exceptional host who definitely went the extra mile to make our stay as good as possible. We look forward to returning again!

My family and I had a wonderful time at this cozy and nicely decorated home. It had everything we could need. My sons especially loved the jukebox. It has the most beautiful views of Whitelake. Gary is such a great host. We can't wait to go back and make more memories.

Wonderful lake house. The views were beautiful and we really loved all the comfortable chairs everywhere to sit and enjoy the view as well as the grill. The jukebox was a great touch and we had a fun evening enjoying the music.

Great lakefront cabin

Gary met us and showed us around. He kept in touch all weekend with great recommendations. The house is cozy and has everything you need. The view from the lake is beautiful.

All around great experience

Clean, quiet, peacful. Owner was great, met us upon arrival with a pizza in the oven! Pet friendly was great. Property location was perfect, very relaxing atmosphere. Loved the dock and the juke box! Will definitely come back!

Check-in and check-out were both a breeze. Easy and hassle-free from start to finish, which was a nice way to kick off the trip.The location itself is really nice and peaceful. About 20 min drive to the closest supermarket and just a short drive from Bethel Woods.The water was clean and a pleasant 77F, perfect for an afternoon swim (fishing was just okay, but the setting more than made up for it).The cottage has a lot of charm and potential! We loved the front porch and the cozy seating area down by the water. Perfect spots for morning coffee or evening unwinding. AC in the living room was a welcome touch too.A couple of things worth mentioning for future guests: there are quite a few stairs down to ground level that weren't noted in the listing, which was tricky for my parents given their mobility needs. Also, the cottage could have used a more thorough cleaning before our arrival, dishes needed a wash, and some of the appliances showed their age.Down at the dock, only the grill was in working order; the sink, flat-top, and lighting weren't functional, and the cottage's own grill was out of commission as well.None of this ruined the trip. The location and the bones of the property really shine, but for 1,850/week, a little extra polish and a heads-up on the stairs would go a long way. With some TLC, this place could easily be a 5-star stay!

The grill in back, works perfect. You have to turn on gas ports, Its a safety thing. There is photo of the 7 steps to get in house. Again you have to turn on gas down at dock safety first. I'm by far the most reasonable priced on lake .

Beautiful setting

Beautiful, quiet, peaceful location very close to Bethel Woods. In a private, family-oriented neighborhood, right on the lake. Very rustic accommodations and a working jukebox! Hosts provided excellent communication and a warm welcome at check-in. They even had a pizza in the oven for us upon arrival!

Wonderful, great place!

Cute home overlooking a beautiful lake! Peaceful and chill area. The home is adorable, comfortable and the deck is the bomb. Big, private, and great views! Everything you need and a jukebox! Also lovely hosts nearby. ☮️❤️🎶

Great Weekend Getaway

This place is a quaint house on a beautiful lake! Gary the host met us at the house with a pizza cooking in the oven. Gary and his wife are great hosts, he even offered to help us get the boat in the lake. Will definitely be going back, hopefully during the fall foliage, I'm sure it's breathtaking that time of year!!

Cozy getaway

We had a great long weekend away. The house is located in a cute lakeside neighborhood with lots to do nearby. Gary was a great host. He greeted us when we arrived and showed us around the property. He checked up throughout the weekend and gave us great recommendations for things to do.

Quiet getaway with views

Wanted to visit the Woodstock 1969 site and travelling with dogs. This place fit the bill, it’s rustic but has everything you needed and view from the front porch over the lake is great. Owner was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly. Pizza and wine on day of arrival was nice touch, and didn’t need to worry about finding food after day of travelling.

Rustic and Fun

Hosts met us with the key and a pizza in the oven. The jukebox was fun. We caught a lot of fish. Visit Big Kev's BBQ. This would be an excellent guys' bonding get-away location. It is a rustic cabin built in 1913. Reminded us of summer camp! The neighbors are friendly and there is just enough to do in the area to be entertained but not overwhelmed. (Food, antiques, parks, Woodstock)
