Cuenta con 10 hermosos acres de bosques para pasear, y no hay vecinos a la vista para acres más allá. Disfruta de su gran cocina inspiradora y sus espacios espaciosos repletos de álbumes, películas, libros, materiales de arte e instrumentos. 5-10 minutos en coche de las aventuras al aire libre en el río Delaware y los puntos calientes del condado de Sullivan, incluidos Narrowsburg, Callicoon, Bethel, White Lake, Skinners Falls, Bethel Woods Arts Center, juegos de azar en Monticello y mucho más. This was definitely a peaceful woodsy retreat. My husband, myself, and our pup stayed during the most beautiful and snowy long weekend. The home was outfitted with everything we needed for the occasion - shovels, salt, warmth, games, darts, a sled, art supplies, and big beautiful windows to watch the snow fall. We took many walks in the woods through the snow, which was such a joy. We would 100% visit again!

Great location, house and experience. Our pups and kids absolutely loved exploring the property. We were there during Christmas and it snowed! 360* views! We felt like we were in a snow globe. No one wanted to leave the property. All the amenities were provided. The host was responsive and courteous. We will definitely want to stay again.

The host was incredibly responsive and checked in to make sure we would have everything we needed before we got there. The house was completely stocked with everything we needed, above and beyond most rentals we've stayed at. The house was beautifully decorated, warm and full of great books, music and games. The beds were incredibly comfortable, again, much more so than most rentals! The property was beautiful with a little creek that our kids loved and a fire pit to make smores. The house is so close to downtown Narrowsburg and Calicoon. We had a wonderful time and appreciated that the house had everything we could think of and more. We had an amazing Thanksgiving weekend!

This cabin is a perfect weekend get-a-way! The host was extremely communicative and helpful. The home was spacious, clean and a perfect spot to get away from it all. The property is wooded with walking trails where our dogs had a blast!! Quiet and secluded - yet a short drive to anything you need. We can't wait to book again :)

Perfect weekend getaway for a family of five with two fur babies. We had excellent communication with the host before and during our stay. The house was fully equipped with a kitchen to prepare all meals, plenty of linens, and a plethora of activities to keep the kids engaged while indoors. The house is situated on a fantastic property for hiking; there's plenty of acreage to enjoy and for our dogs to roam easily. We loved exploring the foliage and made it a mission to find as many adorable figurines on the property as we could. The kids were ecstatic to make s’mores over the fire pit on our final night. The host also provided excellent resources for activities in neighboring towns, but we wanted a slow weekend to enjoy the home and property. This truly was the escape we needed from the city, and we can’t wait to book another stay in the future!

We vacationed with intentions to stay at the house for the entire span of our visit. The House is very clean and functional, with all the appliances, cooking tools, great layout, fast internet/wifi and entertainment bits you need to just... stay at the house! Aside from what the house has to offer, exploring the woods and noting any wildlife passing through is pleasant, can you find all the hidden items along the stream gulley? If 'getting away from it all' is basically doing nothing but relaxing, eating, reading, wandering and napping, I'm all in. A great spot for your next 'what do you want to do, nothing??' getaway

We loved this place. We like to be outdoors and go camping so this is right up our alley. The house is rustic and fabulous. We loved listening to albums on the victrola. The house was very clean and well stocked. It had everything needed for a getaway. My husband really loved the newly strung and in-tune guitar. It was quiet and secluded. We loved the deck and fire pit. If you want to get away and enjoy nature, this is the place. We will certainly come back.

Had a great time at this rental property, one of the best I've been to and a great value. Located on a large woodsy lot offering plenty of peace, privacy, rest and relaxation. The interior is well-designed and great nature features surround you. The firepit was also great and there was plenty of wood for a few very nice fires. I'll be back, do not hesitate!

Wonderful, quiet getaway! The house was so peaceful and serine and it was nice to have so much land all to ourselves. We loved sitting at the fire pit at night and enjoying morning coffee on the deck. Our doggy had the best time of all, she loved exploring the wooded areas and the stream rocks! Inside was rad too, loved the vibes of records, VHS and cassettes tapes! The house had everything we needed and the smart fridge was a fave for us! If you want a place to unwind and take it slow or you have an outdoorsy pup joining you on your trip, this place is great! Chris was also super responsive and easy to communicate with. He had a great guide to local stores and shopping (we used it daily), as well as a great guide to the house itself. He was awesome! We will for sure be coming back.

Peaceful Retreat

Relaxing and peaceful cabin secluded in the woods. Very close to the river, mountains and various hiking places. Enjoyed eating healthy foods from the Farmer's Markets! Chris is a various generous host and his cabin feels like a home away from home!

Concert Weekend Getaway

We were in the area for a concert at Bethelwoods and wished we could have stayed longer! The house had everything from comfy beds to toys for the kids and an amazing property to explore. It was clean, quiet and conveniently located. Chris the owner was great and responded quickly to any questions we had. We will definitely be back!

Most private house I’ve rented

Awesome property. Had everything you need and more. Place was so private, all you hear are sounds of nature and running water of stream on property. Will be renting out house again in the future! First property I ever rented that I really can’t say a single negative thing about.

Sweet spot in the woods

This is a lovely house with a well stocked kitchen, quality mattresses, and everything you might need for a comfy stay. Nice quiet location with a helpful owner. We would love to return.

Perfect birthday weekend get away

My friends and I stayed at this perfect woodsy retreat for my 28th birthday and had so much fun. The kitchen is perfect for cooking big meals and everything you need is available. It was cozy and warm for our winter stay, but I look forward to booking again in the spring and summer. Chris is an excellent host and was very communicative!

Beautiful winter time scene from the large windows . Warm and relaxing. Place was clean upon arrival. Coffee maker works!!! Chris is a very responsive host. Plenty of games and music on site. Couch is for slumbering. So comfortable. Highly recommend. Winter or summer.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I was introduced to this area by a friend from college whose family owns nearby, and I fell in love visiting through the 90s. I eventually bought a home built by hand by a friend of that family. I love enjoying the wildlife, stream and woods on the property, and I love being near Skinner's Falls, Narrowsburg and Callicoon. You can enjoy all the peace of nature, and still get a dose of culture and fine dining as needed. There is a thriving foodie/locavore scene including wonderful farmers markets that will inspire you in the kitchen. I never get tired of being here, there is always more to explore.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love this home because it is modern and lofty, yet cozy and comfortable. I love the wraparound deck with forest views. The home is private in the midst of acres of woods filled with wildlife, and a pretty little stream that is different every day of the year. An old grown-over quarry road crosses the property for easy hikes to the stream, and gives a sense of the area's history. For all this remote privacy, I am still 5-15 minutes away from all of Sullivan County's hot spots including excellent restaurants, farmers markets, antiques and more. The original Woodstock happened just 10 minutes away in Bethel, home of the Bethel Woods Art Centre. The house will inspire you to unplug and enjoy books, make art, make music, cook, read and reflect.
