Newly Renovated John Fripp Villa- Pool Views, Beach Access

Located just steps from the pool and beach access.

This centrally located villa is the perfect place to relax when you're not out exploring Fripp Island and the other surrounding islands and beaches. Downstairs offers an open, fully equipped kitchen and a dining area for 5. A spacious living room with patio access, where there is an additional outdoor dining/seating area for 4. The patio also has a built-in charcoal grill. A full bath and a laundry area with a washer and dryer are located downstairs as well.

The upstairs offers two bedrooms each with a walk-in shower and a balcony off the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed, and the guest bedroom has 2 twin beds. Sleeping 4 comfortably in bedrooms, while the sleeper sofa in the living room provides sleeping for up to 2 additional guests.

You will have access to the pool, directly beside the villa.

Amenity cards are not available to purchase with this rental.

Reservations are subject to a 3.5% processing fee.

Renters must be over 25 years of age to reserve our property.

Fripp and CJFV never disappoints!

Great unit, location was central and close to all! Unit was well appointed for a family vacation. cookware, trash bags, fish soap n paper towels. They thought of all the little things you forget to bring! 320 JFV 100% recommend!

Mold

The unit had black mold on the ceiling and around all the vents. After SIX phone calls to the rental management company over 2 days we finally got moved, but by that time my sons asthma was full blown for several days…so several days of not going to the beach. They finally came out and sprayed the ceilings with bleach, but just re-attached the vent coverings and you could still see thick mold underneath. The humidity upstairs in the house was between 85%-95% the whole time we were there according to the thermostat with strict instructions not to turn it below 72 in the condo. Our wet clothes wouldn’t even dry. Even though we were moved into a very nice home after again, six phone calls, we paid for 7 days at the beach and ended up home sick for 4 because of the mold, and they wouldn’t refund any of the time.

Upon learning about the mold issue, we took immediate steps to address it by relocating you to a different unit and performing maintenance on the affected property. However, it is evident that our response did not meet your expectations or resolve the problem to a satisfactory level. We appreciate your patience during this process and are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused. Regarding the humidity levels and the condition of the initial unit, we are conducting a thorough investigation to ensure this does not happen again. Your feedback has highlighted areas where we need to improve, and we are committed to making the necessary changes to prevent similar situations in the future. Beautifully renovated townhome

This townhome was beautifully renovated recently and was perfect for our family of 3 to get away for few days! The furnishings are lovely and comfortable, linens and towels looked brand new, and kitchen was very well appointed and had everything you’d need while staying at the property. One negative was an odd smell in the twin bedroom, which didn’t affect our stay but we did notify the property manager all the same. One suggestion would be to have a small step stool for smaller kiddos to use in the bathroom, as the bathroom counters were high for our 6yo (but great for the adults!) The property is right on the beach, and you can see the oven from the upstairs master balcony. The boardwalk to the beach is quite long, so a beach wagon is recommended to haul gear of you have a lot. The pool just off the patio is nice if you don’t feel like going to the beach. Fripp is beautiful and we really enjoyed seeing all of the deer! Our only complaint is not about the unit itself but without amenity cards, there isn’t much you can do on the island (no restaurants, no golf, no beach club pool, etc.). The listing did disclose this, but we just did not know this about Fripp (so our fault for not looking into this.) Overall we would recommend this property.
