It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

Hot n cold is backwards on shower. Also never could get oven to light. Tried n tried (3 of us). Loved the views and cleanliness. Wished the sign in book wasn’t full or another had been available. Cute place perfect for the 4 of us.

Nice cozy home perched up on a hill with some of the best views in Rio Dell. We had a great time visiting friends in the area and exploring the southern Humboldt redwoods. Host was very responsive. We’ll be back for sure.

Beautiful hilltop home.

Beautiful home with amazing views! We really enjoyed our stay. The place was, modern, very clean and cozy. It had everything we needed for our stay. It is very close to Avenue of the Giants. We also enjoyed dinner in Ferndale as per host's recommendation.

Exceeded our expectations!

This house is gorgeous! Fully stocked with everything you need and then some! Meticulous details for all the comforts of home. Decorated beautifully. Incredibly comfortable beds! Softest sheets I’ve ever slept in. Kitchen is stocked with everything! Perfectly sharp knives and excellent pots and pans and every appliance you could ask for. Loren answered our texts and calls immediately. Above and beyond! We are going to stay again and again. The outside bath tub was heavenly! 360 degree views of the river and mountains and millions of trees. Perfection! Thank you Loren. You guys know how to run a VRBO!!

Beautiful Oasis

This was an incredible find for our trip to the Redwoods! Property was so inviting and beautifully decorated. The views were incredible and it was a wonderfully quiet place for our nights together. The owners did an incredible job stocking the property and making it feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend to anyone traveling through the area!

Loved our stay

Our family stayed 3 nights and loved how clean and spacious the house is. We had 5 adults and it was super comfortable. We drove to the redwoods and visited surrounding towns for dinner and drinks!

Beautiful and unique!

We loved our stay at the Rio Dell farmhouse property. We used this as our home base for exploring the Redwood Forests both in Humboldt State Park and to the north along the coast and the location was great base! We didn't find much in the way of dining out options close by - but stocked up and groceries for breakfast, dinner and picnic lunches.

Our family of four was only for one night at the end of our 11 days up the coast and boy did it hit the spot! Wish we had more time. Amazing pad!

Peaceful Bliss

We did not require anything after booking. Check in process was smooth. The directions were clear and very easy to follow. The property was very clean, everything we needed for our few day stay was there. The view was great. My girls loved that their room had a balcony. We drove up toward Eureka to explore and just had a great time.

A peaceful, cozy spot! It was clean and had plenty of room. The VIEW! It was amazing! A well stocked kitchen and plenty of towels! Beds were comfortable and clean. We will definitely use again!

Fall getaway

Really enjoyed our stay and found that the unit lived up to its’ listing. Close to everything yet far enough away for the privacy and views you want. Would highly recommend staying here and the goats, horse and dog are an added bonus!

Perfect spot for a quick getaway

My friends and I have a little book club and wanted to do a quick girls trip to relax and enjoy the cooler weather. This place was amazing. It was clean, it was comfortable. We loved all the windows and doors. The views were gorgeous and we loved all the farm animals and wildlife we came cross in our short time there. It was perfectly located to visit the Redwoods, Eureka, and beautiful beaches. They had all the amenities in the house you may need for a trip away. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash. We LOVED the fireplace, it was easy to use and was so cozy for our movie night. I HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking in the area.
