Cathedral City Stay

Very good location for our purposes. The condo is in excellent condition, modernized and clean and in a quiet area. Amadeus was great to deal with, responsive and helpful. We had no issues and everything we needed was in the condo.

Super great host, convenient location!

The host has been amazing with accommodating my changing schedule and requests- and with communication- even when he was out of the country. Check-in was absolutely perfect. The apartment has everything you need and was really clean. The location is conveniently located. Less than 10 minutes to the I-10, Palm Springs airport, downtown Palm Springs, the art district in Cathedral City, etc. It is 20 mins or less to Rancho Mirage, the Arial Tram, Indio, etc. The complex is in a residential neighborhood and was very quiet. The few neighbors I’ve encountered have been very friendly. I would definitely recommend staying here. Especially long-term.

Quiet & Handy Location

This 2nd floor two bedroom condo is in a secure quiet gated community and occupied with young and older working class families. This is not a party hardy crowd. The condo had all the essentials you would need with two comfortable queen beds. The close by chlorine pool is quiet and equipped with lounges and chairs. The location is just south of Ramon close to various shopping centers and golf courses. The only negative may be to people with mobility issues as the only access requires using stairs. The host Amedeus was excellent & easy to contact.

What a find

Can't believe our luck in finding such a great condo.Before I go any further, if you are looking for a place to party the night away read no more,this is not the place for you.The apartment is placed in a quiet end unit with friendly but not intrusive neighbours who respect your privacy.It is clean and nicely furnished with comfortable beds and sofas.The kitchen is well equipped with matching items,no oddments rescued from the back of the broom cupboard; we were able to cook all our meals with ease.The grounds are nicely tended with desert plants and the pool/ hot tub area is almost for your own exclusive use.Everything the Palm Springs area has to offer is easily accessible from this area.One favourite place us the Coachella wilderness preserve for simple hikes where the Ranger is pleasant and knowledgeable.Thursday after 5pm the modern art gallery is free and you can shop at the weekly street market afterwards.Amadeus the owner was very helpful and communication with him was quick and responsive,for example he resolved a problem quickly even though it was of our own making We cannot recommend this place enough and we do a lot of rentals in the U S.When we are next in the Palm Springs area we shall not be looking elsewhere.

PERFECT (in so many ways)

If we could give 100 stars, we would. Our home away from home was extremely comfortable, spacious, well stocked, quiet, safe and close to everything (especially golf courses!). We loved both balconies, especially the one overlooking the pool and hot tub where we had several happy hours (including virtual) and dinners. We might add that when using the pool and hot tub, we were usually the only ones enjoying! It was our first time as snow birds, so having such a wonderful place at a reasonable price (so many in this area are overpriced), plus making it our home with a few personal items we brought with us (we drove here), absolutely meant we could not have asked for anything more (and even more so when the pandemic was increasingly getting worse). Amadeus is by far the BEST VRBO HOST EVER! He’s kind, attentive, generous, and has a great sense of humor. The couple very minor issues we had were resolved immediately. We highly recommend this wonderful condo…we can’t wait to come back!!!

Good location and wonderful owner

Complex was great, gardens and pool well looked after, and excellent location to get to anywhere in the valley. While the surrounding neighbourhood isn’t one of the nicest we felt very safe when going out for walks and runs to nearby Cimmaron Golf Course. The unit itself is a little dated but clean and very well equipped kitchen. Good dishes, excellent cutlery, and lots of glasses. Good wifi, tv, ac, heat, and laundry. A very comfortable condo. Amadeus is an outstanding and caring owner. Into our second week the refrigerator died. He had a new one bought and delivered by the following day - a Saturday!! A person can’t ask for better than that.

Quiet property. Enjoyed the rainy stay.

In general the property was fine. The closets had to much personal things that should be purged to allow more room for clients. We also would have enjoyed a toaster as opposed to a toaster oven. Did not feel comfortable walking around the outside streets.

Great Location and well maintained development

We were very excited to be traveling to Palm Springs for the first time but nervous about renting through VRBO not knowing if we were going to be pleased with the result. The owner was very responsive and available with any questions. The condo had everything we needed, it was like us being home. There was golfing nearby, shopping as well, and very convenient to airport and downtown. Got do go hiking, swimming with the pool being heated it was very comfortable. The condo was clean, plenty of towels for bathrooms and pool and had the washer and dryer right in the condo. I would absolutely rent again from this owner. Thank you for making our first experience a great one.

Very Relaxing!

What a comfortable and welcoming place to stay! I was pleasantly surprised to discover we would be staying in a gated complex. The modestly decorated two bedroom unit was surprisingly immaculate. Understand that I'm the type who assumes my first few hours of vacation would be spent wearing rubber gloves hoping the bleach I sprayed wouldn't give me a headache. When I saw the spotless bathrooms the stress just left me and I couldn't wait to unpack. The rear balcony overlooking the pool was an added plus. I had a chuckle knowing we'd never need all the cabinet space in the kitchen. Even the beds were comfortable. I mean really...who gives that much consideration in a rental? Nice touch. A private pool and patio complete with tables and lounge chairs was perfect for days just staying "in". Close to everything but not too close which made coming "home" something to look forward to. A nice quiet condo that welcomed us the moment we opened the door. We couldn't have been more pleased.

Happy Canadian

The owner of this property was awesome. Any concerns we had were addressed in a prompt & courteous manner. We feel Mr Santos bent over backwards to make sure we were happy & satisfied during our stay at his condo. We had to rent at the last minute and he made sure we received all the codes & passwords in a timely manner. Condo is in a nice location, very quiet & close to shopping.... ie grocery, big box etc.Lots of restaurants nearby. Thanks Amadeus for being so great.

great place to stay

We rented this property for 2 months (Jan/Feb 2011) and would be happy to return. The condo is well furnished and equipped with spacious bedrooms with lots of storage. The gated community is in a convenient location for shopping and sightseeing and is very quiet and well maintained. The owner is very obliging and always promptly available by phone.

I purchased this Property on Nov 2009 because I love the Mountain View, and the area. I'm originally from Portugal and have lived in NJ since I was 9, I feel that being in the Palm Springs area I can relax and have many things to do, there are great restaurants, golfing, hiking, LA is 2hrs way, San Diego is 2 hrs away, Las Vegas is 4 hrs away. It's a great place to be and stay as well as to have avenues to other locations a short distance away.

We really enjoy the area and visit often. Have made great friends and there is a lot to do. Hiking, eating, golfing, children museums, LA is 2 hrs away, San Diego is 2 hrs away, Temecula wine trail in 2 hrs away. Just a great place with a lot of different activities. Not to mention the Weather is amazing compared to East Coast winter weather.
