If you are looking for a relaxing waterfront and lakefront getaway, Lake Lure is the perfect place! This Is a 2 bedroom 2 bath cabin style lake house on the water! We also have a brand new queen sleeper sofa for additional 2 people. It is 3 miles from Chimney Rock which if great for hiking. Wake up to incredible views from the deck and from the inside of the cabin while drinking your coffee. Relax on the deck with a drink in the evenings while watching the boats drive by. During the day you can fish, kayak, canoe ,swim or just lounge by the water reading a great book! This property comes with one adult kayak, two kids kayaks, a canoe and fishing poles.

Incredible views

We absolutely loved our stay here while we were visiting Lake Lure! The views from the living room and the deck were just amazing - I truly do believe this is the best view on the lake! We loved the cute and cozy feel of the cabin like home and we really appreciated how organized and responsive our host Char was. She really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and ensure we were having a great time. The only thing we were a little bit disappointed with was the fact that there was only one adult kayak - though I knew that from the description before i rented. It would definitely be nice to have a second one so we could paddle together. There is a canoe though which is fantastic but we did not use it because the inside looked pretty dirty and we were not sure what exactly was all over the seats but it looked similar to duck or bird droppings to us, so we forwent the canoe for our stay! Other than that we loved everything about this wonderful place. It was truly so peaceful and the people were so welcoming ~ we will definitely be back and when we come we will be sure to stay with Char again.

Perfect Weekend Getaway

My husband and I enjoyed our long weekend here. Communication with the property manager was awesome before and during the stay. The house was exceptionally clean and well stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The bed was very comfortable (we only used the lakeside bedroom). The pictures don’t do justice to the beautiful views from the deck and picture windows. This was the perfect getaway for some much needed relaxation. We can’t wait to go back!

Beautiful view of Lake and mountains and great fishing.

This had to be one of our best getaways we have experienced since we have been going to Lake lure. The view was spectacular !The rustic home was comfortable and cozy and the soft and comfy beds were amazing.. The fishing was probably the best of all. We would definitely visit this place again.

Great family vacation spot

The views of the mountains and lake were breathtaking from this property. Our children enjoyed the kayaks and we felt very safe playing in the water around the property. While the property was clean we noticed and killed several carpenter ants inside the home. The deck and boathouse are in need of some general maintenance. In summary the inside of the property has been updated with new furnishings but the outdoor spaces lacked some general maintenance ( example: loose deck boards, blown light bulbs, boat house in need of repair to siding, and old neglected boats in the boathouse) This property has so much potential if general maintenance is prioritized.

Scenic escape from hustle and bustle

The home is well appointed with almost everything you need for a perfect vacation. We traveled as a family of five with children ages 2, 4, and 8. The kids enjoyed fishing from the dock and even kayaked for the first time on the lake. I mostly enjoyed the large deck with incredible views of the lake and mountains. We carefully planned lunch and dinner outings before traveling as we noted many of the nearby restaurants close on Tuesday and Wednesday. We shopped for groceries in relatively nearby Hendersonville so we’d be fully prepared in the home for breakfast, mostly. The home was perfectly sized for our family and I hope to return in the future. Char is an excellent hostess and is awesome about communicating prior to arrival and throughout your stay.

Best View, Hands down

I was looking for a rental on Lake Lure that offered peacefulness, spectacular views of the lake and mountains, and proximity to hiking, area attractions, and small towns to explore. This place met every expectation and was everything I had hoped for and more. The view from the deck is spectacular and awe-inspiring. Char is a great hostess and ensures you have everything you need. The rental met every need and was super clean and comfortable. Thank you, Char, for a memorable vacation!

Wonderful trip with breathtaking views

This house was nothing short of what we expected! My husband and I had a wonderful time and the location was great! We have even discussed taking our kids back in a few weeks who are 11 and 7 and we have no doubts would enjoy it as well. It was just spacious enough for us and super clean! It was hot while we were there, but we were able to keep the house cool and were super happy with the location. My only advice is if you use the gps, know your address too!! It told us we were at our destination but we were “up the hill from it” because we knew the address we figured it out with no problem. This place was wonderful and Char was fantastic about reaching out and making sure everything was okay. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful cabin on the lake

What a great long weekend we had at this property! It was literally right on the water and had all the amenities. My kids and I kayaked and got the canoe out. We went fishing from the deck. The deck was soo incredibly spacious and My husband and I could have sat out there forever!! We had wonderful weather. The host was great with communication about the check in process. We had an issue about finding the key to the boathouse but got resolved very quickly. We will definitely be back next year!
